The acarological+ study of dust samples from the homes of allergic patients and normal persons in Moscow mite antigens were detected, respectively, in 66.7% and 38.1% of homes. The indirect mast cell degranulation test and the brain gliacyte volume change test in white rats gave similar results. The occurrence of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus was approximately twice as great of D. farinae, and the numerical prevalence of the former species over the latter one was 1.3-fold. Dermatophagoides mites occurred in the homes of allergic patients 1.8-2.3 times as frequently as in the homes of normal persons. 相似文献

Ninety-nine patients aged 16-52 years with disseminated atopic dermatitis at the remission were examined and treated. The patients were divided into 3 groups according to the method of therapy. Group 1 (28 patients aged 17-52 years, found to be sensitive to Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae) received, in addition to standard treatment, immunotherapy (oral hyposensitization with mite allergens) in combination with ointment containing retinopalmitate and methyluracil. Group 2 (39 patients aged 17-40 years) received standard treatment combined with the administration of placebo. Group 3 (32 patients aged 16-27 years) received only standard therapy. Groups 2 and 3 were used for comparison. The results of treatment were evaluated according to changes in the immune status of the patients and a complex of clinical characteristics. Essential improvement in clinical characteristics and the normalization of immunological parameters were registered in group 1, which proved that immunotherapy was effective and safe. 相似文献

Physical, chemical and immunobiological characteristics of allergens from synanthropic insects were studied by tests for anaphylaxis, indirect degranulation of mast cells test and ELISA. Sera from 20 patients with severe and intermediate atopic asthma with sensiblization to common allergens have been studied. All extracts of allergens from synanthropic insects (german cockroach, oriental cockroach, american cockroach, speckled feeder cockroach, cricket, common house fly, brown house moth, confused flour beetle, rice weevil, grain weevil) have specific activity. Extracts of allergens from common house fly, brown house moth, german cockroach and oriental cockroach had the strongest allergenic activity as measured by ELISA. Obtained allergens can be used for insect allergy diagnostics. 相似文献

The method of the isoelectric separation of allergens isolated from Dermatophagoides ticks with the use of isoelectrofocusing has been improved. 10-12 protein fractions with isoelectric points from 3.50 to 6.55 have been isolated. Allergens obtained from D. farinae and D. pteronyssinus grown on two different nutrient media have been found to contain common protein components. In D. pteronyssinus allergen the presence of a greater number of protein fractions has been noted in the region of pH 5.25-6.00 than in D. farinae allergen. 相似文献

Background
Parathyroid hormone (PTH) and PTH-related peptide (PTHrP) belong to a family of endocrine factors that share a highly conserved N-terminal region (amino acids 1-34) and play key roles in calcium homeostasis, bone formation and skeletal development. Recently, PTH-like peptide (PTH-L) was identified in teleost fish raising questions about the evolution of these proteins. Although PTH and PTHrP have been intensively studied in mammals their function in other vertebrates is poorly documented. Amphibians and birds occupy unique phylogenetic positions, the former at the transition of aquatic to terrestrial life and the latter at the transition to homeothermy. Moreover, both organisms have characteristics indicative of a complex system in calcium regulation. The results of the development of manufacturing technology for the preparation of allergen from the bodies of cockroaches and the physico-chemical characteristics of this allergen are presented. The complex allergological examination of patients with atopic bronchial asthma revealed that 69.3% of such patients were sensitized to house dust, and in 68.4% of them IgE antibodies to cockroach allergens were detected. Patients with atopic bronchial asthma, not sensitized to house dust, were found to have sensitization to Blatella germanica in 12.2% of cases. 相似文献
