植物功能性状反映了植物对生长环境的响应和适应, 是连接植物与环境的桥梁, 研究植物功能性状特征及其随坡向的变化规律, 对认识不同微地形生境下植物群落空间格局形成及适应机制具有重要意义。本文以五大连池不同历史年代的8座火山共有树种色木槭(Acer mono)为研究对象, 测定了9类叶功能性状, 研究了植物叶功能性状在火山间及火山坡向间(阴坡-阳坡)的变化规律, 以期揭示生境对火山植物主要叶功能性状的影响, 以及阴阳坡植物生存策略的变化, 初步探讨了植物对环境的适应机制。结果表明: (1)坡向的变化是造成色木槭叶功能性状差异的重要原因; (2)火山间叶功能性状的差异反映了它们具有不同的资源环境, 色木槭生长主要受氮元素的限制; (3)南北坡向及火山间叶片厚度与叶面积均呈极显著的正相关关系, 叶片厚度与比叶面积在不同火山间均呈显著的正相关关系, 这与色木槭在火山土壤条件下的自我保护密切相关, 色木槭通过这些指标间的功能调节来适应环境的变化, 并形成最佳功能组合。五大连池不同历史年代火山的色木槭采用增加植物叶片叶干物质浓度、叶面积、叶片厚度、叶氮和叶磷浓度提高固碳能力, 通过降低比叶面积和氮磷比来适应干旱、土壤养分贫瘠的环境。  相似文献

选取江西省彭泽至湖口高速公路沿线5个典型低缓边坡试验点,利用表土生态恢复,采用样线法调查1年后的试验边坡植物的生长情况。结果表明:在彭湖高速公路低缓边坡利用表土资源进行边坡生态恢复是可行的,各种利用表土的试验设计均取得了较好的恢复效果,其中,边坡覆盖7~10cm中层厚度表土后采取人工撒播恢复方式,边坡植物群落的Simpson多样性指数(平均0.80)及Pielou均匀度指数(平均0.84)相对较高,恢复效果较好;同时,此试验条件下生物量的积累值(平均446g.m-2)和木本植被的群落重要值(平均14.5)都显著高于其他恢复方式,这有利于群落结构的稳定和延续。  相似文献

The behaviour of eight large benthopelagic fish taxa was analysed using video records collected with an ROV on the mid-slope of the Bay of Biscay. The studied species were roundnose grenadier (Coryphaenoides rupestris), orange roughy (Hoplostethus atlanticus), deep-sea scorpionfish (Trachyscorpia cristulata echinata), and black scabbardfish (Aphanopus carbo), as well as individuals belonging to the families Alepocephalidae, Chimaeridae, and Scyliorhinidae, and to the order Squaliformes. Some of the observed fish were grouped at the family taxonomical level due to visual identification to species being unreliable. Assumed natural (undisturbed) behaviour was categorised in terms of (i) body position with respect to the bottom sea floor, (ii) locomotion and (iii) activity type. Reaction (disturbed) behaviour to the approaching ROV was categorised in terms of reaction type and distance. Environmental conditions (depth, temperature, current speed and direction) and observation conditions (ROV speed and altitude) were recorded simultaneously with fish observations in order to explain the variability in the observed reaction behaviour. A multivariate analysis identified three groups corresponding to a behaviour pattern of a sit and wait strategist (one species), an active bottom hunter (three taxa), and a group of species displaying little activity in their bottom habitat (three taxa). At species level the environmental and observation conditions had some explanatory power for individual behaviour variability. It is hypothesised that the varied behaviour of mid-slope benthopelagic fish contributes to maintain a high species diversity of large predators in an energy poor environment.  相似文献

Photochemical degradation of chromophoric-dissolved organic matter (CDOM) by UV-B radiation decreases CDOM absorption in the UV region and fluorescence intensity, and alters CDOM composition. CDOM absorption, fluorescence, and the spectral slope indicating the CDOM composition were studied using 0.22-μm-filtered samples of Meiliang Bay water from Lake Taihu that were exposed to short-term (0–12 h) simulated UV-B radiation and long-term (0–12 days) natural solar radiation in summer. CDOM absorption coefficient and fluorescence decreased with increasing exposure time, which relates to the amounts of absorbed light energy. The decreases of CDOM absorption and normalized fluorescence corresponded to first order kinetics reactions. Different decreases of CDOM absorption and fluorescence at different wavelengths suggested that the composition of CDOM changed when it absorbed ultraviolet radiation. Photochemical degradation increased the spectral slope during 275–295 nm region (S 275–295) but decreased the spectral slope during 275–295 nm region (S 350–400). The slope ratio S R (S 275–295:S 350–400) increased in the photochemical process, which could be used as an indicator of photobleaching and composition change of CDOM. The study was performed on the ski resort Krvavec, which is one of the most frequented ski resorts in Slovenia. The ski slopes serve as pastures for cattle during summer time and range from 1500 to 2000 m a.s.l., which is at or above the upper timberline. To offer a longer ski season and to profit snow better (either natural or artificial one) the slopes have been levelled and consequently the soil profile has been changed. Such altered soil profile characteristics strongly impact hydrological functions of soils. To study these impacts, five plots (20 × 20 m) have been chosen on the slopes with a different history: pasture without any amelioration work, a patch of forest in the ski resort without any ameliorations, and three plots with different intensity of amelioration. Dynamics of soil water content on each plot has been determined by measuring soil water content in-situ with portable TDR system during several days after long lasting heavy rains. Statistically significant differences were shown in soil water content between the plots after the rain, although some differences between plots have disappeared in the following days.  相似文献

"Evolution Canyon" is a typical Mediterra-nean-basin canyon with a summer dry stream at the bottom and large differences in vegetation cover and solar radiation between the north-facing slope (NFS) and the south-facing slope (SFS). It is known to act as an abiotic mediator influencing the community structure of soil fauna. The aim of this study was to determine the spatial dispersion of soil microbial and free-living nematode communities in the open sites (between shrubs) in the upper (0-10 cm) soil layer at four altitudes on both slopes. The combination of relative soil moisture availability and temperature, known to be one of the main triggers for soil biota activity, was explained by slope orientation. The above-mentioned differences were found to significantly affect microbial biomass and CO2 evolution resulting in temporary stress, corresponding to higher values in metabolic quotient (qCO2) values. These differences may represent microbial investment in energy in order to overcome stress resulting from the microclimatic differ-ences between the two slopes. Moreover, the degree of substrate limitation (primary production due to the differences in plant cover) of microbial activity was explained by the difference in microbial functional groups. The total abundance of soil free-living nematodes was found to be 2-fold higher on the SFS than on the NFS. Thirty-nine genera, including 12 bacteria-feeders, 5 fungi-feeders, 12 plant-parasites, and 10 omnivore-predators, were found at the study site, with 34 genera on the NFS and 29 on the SFS. The generic diversity of the bacteria-feeding nematodes was higher on the SFS than on the NFS. This study elucidates the importance of slope orientation and its effect on the structural levels of soil microbial and nematode communities.  相似文献

以龙角山地区216个样方的调查资料为基础,用Shannon-Wiener多样性指数和Sφrensen相似性指数,研究了龙角山林区野生维管植物物种多样性的空间分异规律及其原因。结果表明,乔木层物种多样性比较低,而灌木层和草本层的物种多样性则比较高;野生维管植物物种多样性随海拔高度的升高而降低;不同坡向的野生维管植物物种多样性存在着差异,北坡>东坡和西坡>南坡;坡向和海拔是影响该地区野生维管植物物种多样性空间分布的主要因子。坡向对当地的野生维管植物物种组成成分也有明显影响,其中北坡与南坡之间的野生维管植物物种组成差异最大,东坡与西坡之间的野生维管植物组成差异最小;海拔高程的变化对野生维管植物物种组成也有影响,但影响不明显。  相似文献

Abstract. Sponges can serve as hosts to invertebrate assemblages that live and reproduce within them. Sponges also constitute a major part of the benthic epifaunal community on the continental shelf of the southeastern United States; however, little is known about these sponges and the assemblages they harbor. In this study, the associated fauna from a variety of sponges and one species of tunicate collected by submersible from the continental shelf and slope of the southeastern United States at depths in the range 18–875 m were examined. Seventeen sponges, comprising eight species (Ircinia campana, Topsentia sp., Geodia sp., Characella sp., Erylus sp., Apylsina archeri, Cliona sp., and Pheronema carpenteri), and three tunicate colonies (Didemnidae) were fully dissected and all associated organisms were identified and counted. Additionally, the sponges Pheronema annae (951 m) and P. carpenteri (770 m) represent new records for the region. The diversity (H′) and density of associates varied considerably among hosts; the densities of associates ranged 0.4–11,684 per 1 L of host volume. Polychaete worms were the most common organisms found, with one species, Haplosyllis spongicola, being especially abundant in I. campana, Topsentia sp., and Cliona sp. The amphipods Ericthonius punctatus and Leucothoe cf. spinicarpa, as well as decapods such as snapping shrimp (Synalpheus sp.) and crabs (e.g., Pilumnus floridana, Micropanope urinator), were also common. The number of symbiont taxa did not significantly increase as the sponge size increased. However, weak positive trends were found between the diversity of associates and increasing canal diameter. Sponges and tunicates were judged to represent legitimate ecological communities harboring a complete food web as well as gravid and juvenile individuals.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine long-term effects of fertiliser and livestock management and micro-topographical variation on soil physical and chemical characteristics and herbage accumulation on a hill site in the southern North Island of New Zealand.Paddocks subjected to high fertility-high stocking rate (HH) and low fertility-low stocking rate (LL) treatments dating back to 1975 were used. Soil samples were taken from three slope categories (0–12° low slope, LS; 13–25° medium slope, MS; >25° high slope, HS) from HH and LL and a range of soil chemical and physical features were assessed. Herbage accumulation (green matter and dead matter) was measured over 12 months on each microsite.Greater differences in soil and herbage features, such as unsaturated hydraulic conductivity (Kunsat), bulk density (BD), water holding capacity (VSM), soil compressibility (SC), total soil nitrogen (Total-N), Olsen-P and green dry matter accumulation (GDMA), were measured across slope categories than between management treatments, possibly because slope effects on soils would have operated over longer periods of time than the fertiliser-stocking rate contrasts. Increasing slope decreased GDMA on the site, as well as Total-N, Olsen-P, VSM and SC, but increased Kunsat, BD and soil rebound after compression (SR). Slope, VSM, Kunsat, SC, BD and Total-N were the soil variables with largest influence on differentiation between microsites. Olsen-P and SR were less important. Green dry matter accumulation was strongly influenced by slope, soil VSM and Kunsat, and to a lesser extent by soil Total-N and Olsen-P.  相似文献

To gain a better understanding of the effects of spatial structure on patterns of neighbourhood competition among hardwood trees, the three-dimensional extension of primary branches was surveyed for ten community-grown Castanea crenata (Fagaceae) trees with respect to the positioning of neighbouring branches and the slope of the forest floor. There were significantly more branches extending towards the lower side of the slope than towards the upper side, but structural properties such as branch length and vertical angle were not affected by slope. When horizontal extension of a branch towards its neighbour was compared for a C. crenata branch and a neighbouring heterospecific, the former was significantly narrower than the latter when the inter-branch distance (horizontal distance between the base positions of two neighbouring branches) was short (< approx. 5 m). Castanea crenata branches tended to extend in a direction avoiding neighbouring branches of heterospecifics when the inter-branch distance was short. Furthermore, for an inter-branch distance <3 m, the horizontal extension of a C. crenata branch was less when it was neighbouring a heterospecific branch than when neighbouring a conspecific branch. These results suggest that horizontal extension of C. crenata branches is more prone to spatial invasion by nearby neighbouring branches of heterospecifics, and that the invasion can be lessened when C. crenata trees are spatially aggregated. The reason why such an arrangement occurs is discussed in relation to the later leaf-flush of C. crenata compared with that of other species in the forest.  相似文献
