河南西峡盆地晚白垩世含恐龙蛋地层中的双壳类   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
描述河南西峡盆地含恐龙蛋地层的双壳类5属(亚属)9种,其中1新种。依据双壳类的地层分布特征,确认含恐龙蛋地层的时代属晚白垩世,很可能为晚白垩世中-晚期(Coniacian-Campanian期)。描述的双壳类化石有:Pseudohyria cf.gobiensis MacNeil,Pseudohyria cf.cardiiformis(Martinson),cf.Plicatounio(Plicatounio)hunanensis Zhang,cf.Plicatounio(Plicatounio)zhuchengensis Ma,Plicatounio(Acclinoplicatounio)cf.nan-anensis Ma et Huang,Plicatounio(Tamuraia)henanensis Chenet Wangsp.nov.,Sphaerium shantun gense(Grabau),Sphaeriumtani Grabau和Sphaerium laiyangense Chen。其中,Pseudohyria属及Tamuraia和Accli-noplicatounio亚属的历程均限于晚白垩世。韩国和日本早白垩世地层发现的Pseudohyria matsumotoi Yang,1979应归Matsumotoina,不属于Pseudohyria;福建禾口组上部原鉴定为Plicatounio(Plicatounio)naktongensis和Pli-catounio(Plicatounio)fujianensis的标本,应改归Tamuraia亚属。  相似文献

Throughout mammalian evolution, recombination between the two sex chromosomes was suppressed in a stepwise manner. It is thought that the suppression of recombination led to an accumulation of deleterious mutations and frequent genomic rearrangements on the Y chromosome. In this article, we review three evolutionary aspects related to genomic rearrangements and structures, such as inverted repeats (IRs) and palindromes (PDs), on the mammalian sex chromosomes. First, we describe the stepwise manner in which recombination between the X and Y chromosomes was suppressed in placental mammals and discuss a genomic rearrangement that might have led to the formation of present pseudoautosomal boundaries (PAB). Second, we describe ectopic gene conversion between the X and Y chromosomes, and propose possible molecular causes. Third, we focus on the evolutionary mode and timing of PD formation on the X and Y chromosomes. The sequence of the chimpanzee Y chromosome was recently published by two groups. Both groups suggest that rapid evolution of genomic structure occurred on the Y chromosome. Our re-analysis of the sequences confirmed the species-specific mode of human and chimpanzee Y chromosomal evolution. Finally, we present a general outlook regarding the rapid evolution of mammalian sex chromosomes.  相似文献

盐沼湿地具有很高的碳捕获与存储能力, 是缓解全球变暖的有效蓝色碳汇(蓝碳)。未来气候变暖和海平面上升可能增加盐沼湿地的固碳能力, 其蓝碳功能越来越受到国际社会的重视。该文重点围绕盐沼湿地蓝碳形成的关键过程、光合碳分配过程及影响机制、碳沉积埋藏特征及其来源解析、盐沼湿地土壤碳库稳定性及其微生物机制、盐沼湿地蓝碳过程动态模拟及其增汇潜力等5个方面进行综述。在此基础上, 针对当前研究的不足, 提出今后的研究中需要进一步探究盐沼湿地植被海陆梯度分布格局对碳吸收能力和碳分配的影响, 土壤有机碳沉积和埋藏速率及其对全球变化的响应, 盐沼湿地土壤碳库的稳定性及其横向碳流动, 气候变化和海平面上升背景下盐沼湿地蓝碳模拟与增汇潜力评估, 以及盐沼湿地蓝碳的增汇技术和途径。以期为深入理解盐沼湿地蓝碳形成过程与机制, 预测全球变化背景下盐沼湿地蓝碳功能的潜在变化趋势和制定蓝碳增汇途径提供理论支持, 助力碳达峰、碳中和目标实现。  相似文献

Subsurface microbial communities are generally thought to be structured through in situ environmental conditions such as the availability of electron acceptors and donors and porosity, but recent studies suggest that the vertical distribution of a subset of subseafloor microbial taxa, which were present at the time of deposition, were selected by the paleodepositional environment. However, additional highly resolved temporal records of subsurface microbiomes and paired paleoenvironmental reconstructions are needed to justify this claim. Here, we performed a highly resolved shotgun metagenomics survey to study the taxonomic and functional diversity of the subsurface microbiome in Holocene sediments underlying the permanently stratified and anoxic Black Sea. Obligate aerobic bacteria made the largest contribution to the observed shifts in microbial communities associated with known Holocene climate stages and transitions. This suggests that the aerobic fraction of the subseafloor microbiome was seeded from the water column and did not undergo post‐depositional selection. In contrast, obligate and facultative anaerobic bacteria showed the most significant response to the establishment of modern‐day environmental conditions 5.2 ka ago that led to a major shift in planktonic communities and in the type of sequestered organic matter available for microbial degradation. No significant shift in the subseafloor microbiome was observed as a result of environmental changes that occurred shortly after the marine reconnection, 9 ka ago. This supports the general view that the marine reconnection was a gradual process. We conclude that a high‐resolution analysis of downcore changes in the subseafloor microbiome can provide detailed insights into paleoenvironmental conditions and biogeochemical processes that occurred at the time of deposition.  相似文献

Traunsee was formed by glacial overdeepening of a pre-existing fault system. Present-day morphology is characterized by a deep (189 m) narrow trough with steep slopes (>50°) in the southern part surrounded by the Northern Calcareous Alps. The northern part of the lake is bordered by flysch and glacial deposits with gentle slopes (<30°) and exhibits several ridges, basins and troughs.During the late and postglacial period, more than 45 m of sediment has accumulated in the central basin. Sedimentation in the southern part of Traunsee is mainly controlled by the river Traun forming a prograding delta in the south and — within the past 50 years — by industrial tailings consisting mainly of calcite. Sediments are distributed by undercurrents and by turbidites. Cores from the central basin thus show an intercalation of Traun-derived dolomite-rich sediments with anthropogenic muds from the tailings deposited up to more than 6 km from its source.Within the northern basin, land slides from the flysch region played an important role leading to drastic changes in the morphology of slopes and adjacent basins. These slumps have persisted until historic times. Sedimentation in the shallow sublittoral regions is dominated by benthic biogenic decalcification.The frequency of turbidite sedimentation within the profundal basin decreased during the last 200 years probably due to man's activities in the drainage area such as regulation of rivers and torrents. Sedimentation rates during the past decades range from 2–3 cm/a in the southern basin to 0.4 cm/a in the northern part as shown by 137Cs-dating.  相似文献

Sedimentary pigments as an index of the trophic status of Lake Mead   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Sedimentary pigment data were analysed from 6 cores from Lake Mead, the reservoir resulting from the impoundment of the Colorado River by Boulder (now Hoover) Dam in 1935. Surficial sedimentary pigments correlated well with contemporaneously measured primary productivity of the water column at the 6 coring stations. For the coring station nearest the sewerage inflow from the City of Las Vegas, the historical record of pigments closely paralleled the increase in human population, sewerage loading to the reservoir, and the associated phosphorus loadings. For three of the cores, pigments were closely correlated with total nitrogen from the same levels in the cores. Pigment concentrations in cores from different parts of the reservoir corroborate findings of other studies which indicate major differences in productivity of the upper and lower basins of Lake Mead (the lower basin having higher primary productivity). The pigment data from the cores provide some indications of the effect of the damming of the Colorado River above the Grand Canyon in 1963 to form Lake Powell, which significantly reduced phosphorus loading downstream to Lake Mead, and which may have adversely affected the largemouth bass fishery.  相似文献

Seasonal cycling of Fe in saltmarsh sediments   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
This study combines an analysis of porewater chemistry with new, solid phase wet chemical extractions to examine the seasonal cycling of Fe in vegetated and unvegetated (cyanobacterial mat) saltmarsh sediments. Saltmarsh sediments are shown to contain more solid phase reactive Fe than other marine sediments studied so far. From the partitioning and speciation of solid Fe, and solid/soluble reduced S analysis in 10 sediment cores, we have observed that a majority of solid Fe in these sediments is cycled rapidly and completely between oxidized reactive Fe and reduced Fe as pyrite. Vegetated porewaters showed a lower pH and much higher Fe(II) concentrations on average than unvegetated porewaters in the top 10 cm, whereas sulfate, alkalinity, and sulfide concentrations were similar in the two environments. The amorphous Fe(III) oxide fraction showed a high negative correlation to solid and soluble reduced S (r 2 = –0.86 and –0.71, respectively) in surface vegetated sediments whereas the crystalline Fe(III) oxide fraction showed a high negative correlation (r 2 = –0.96) to sulfide only at depth. Though reactive Fe was observed in unvegetated sediments, no seasonal trend was apparent and the speciation of solid Fe revealed that most of it was reduced. Solid phase and porewater chemistry support the dominant role of the biota (Spartina alterniflora and bacteria) in controlling the reactivity of Fe and suggest that the current definition of solid phase, reactive Fe should be expanded to include crystalline Fe(III) minerals which are available for pyrite formation in saltmarsh sediments. In support of previous saltmarsh studies, we present evidence that the redox cycle of solid Fe is controlled by sulfate reduction and sediment oxidation which respond to both annual cycles (light, temperature) and to short-term, episodic effects such as weather and tides.  相似文献

227 Diatom taxa were observed in the surface sediments of the northern part of Lake Tanganyika, including 1 new to science: Amphora tanganyikae. The diatom community of these sediments is mainly composed of benthic organisms while planktonic diatoms are rather rare. Many brackish-water and a few marine organisms were observed. A 40‐year‐old rehabilitated forest developed on a sodic wasteland at Banthra, Lucknow, north India, was studied for the performance of various species in different vegetation strata as well as their overall impact in soil amelioration. The plant communities of the three selected stands (S1, S2, and S3) of this forest were categorized into three vegetation strata: overstory trees, understory trees and shrubs, and a ground layer with scattered herbs and tree seedlings. The three stands contained 44, 19, and 8 species in each stratum, respectively, and three climber species. Importance value index (IVI) and basal area/cover did not show a clear dominance for particular species, and this is identified as a mixed forest with deciduous as well as evergreen species. Therefore, dominant species in each layer were categorized according to an IVI value of 10 and greater than 10% relative basal area. Within each stratum, species richness and plant population density decreased with an increase in plant size. Both species diversity and productivity were relatively high compared to the reference site because of protection from biotic disturbances, which cannot be controlled on the reference site. Creation of new forest on the barren land has contributed significant soil amelioration in the degraded sodic soil of the Indogangetic plains. The soil properties of the three stands did not vary much, although different tree species dominated the stands. Maximum soil amelioration was recorded for total N, followed by mineralized N, available N, and organic carbon contents for the nutritional properties. With regard to chemical properties, exchangeable sodium was greatly reduced in comparison to other properties viz pH, electrical conductivity, cation exchange capacity, and exchangeable Ca content. During 40 years of growth and development of the diverse vegetation in the revegetated forest, microbial C increased to about five times that of the surrounding barren sodic soils. There were no significant changes in soil structure even though the water‐holding capacity of the soil improved to about 53% of the once barren land due to a 7‐fold increase in organic carbon content.  相似文献
