群居型和散居型东亚飞蝗雌成虫飞行肌的超微结构   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3

应用电子显微镜对群居型和散居型东亚飞蝗Locusta migratoria manilensis(Meyen)雌成虫背纵肌进行了比较观察。结果表明:群居型和散居型成虫背纵肌具有类似的亚细胞结构,飞行肌的肌原纤维具有1∶3粗细丝比例,每根粗丝由6根细丝环绕排列成六角形结构。飞行肌的发育和线粒体的形成均是渐进的过程,在不同日龄成虫间存在差异。肌节长度为2.1~3.4 μm;7和10日龄时群居型成虫肌节长度小于散居型;7日龄群居型肌原纤维直径显著大于散居型。背纵肌内线粒体含量约占肌纤维的20%~43%,两型飞蝗之间存在着显著的差异,7日龄时群居型线粒体占肌原纤维的比例高达42.96%,而散居型的只有22.45%;10日龄群居型线粒体含量为41.32%,散居型线粒体29.98%。上述差异可能是东亚飞蝗群居型成虫飞行能力显著强于散居型成虫的重要原因之一。  相似文献

The sense of taste, although a relatively undistinguished sensory modality in most mammals, is a highly developed sense in many fishes, e.g., catfish, gadids, and carps including goldfish. In these species, the amount of neural tissue devoted to this modality may approach 20% of the entire brain mass, reflecting an enormous number of taste buds scattered across the external surface of the animal as well as within the oral cavity. The primary sensory nuclei for taste form a longitudinal column of nuclei along the dorsomedial surface of the medulla. Within this column of gustatory nuclei, the sensory system is represented as a fine-grain somatotopic map, with external body parts being represented rostrally within the column, and oropharyngeal surfaces being represented caudally. Goldfish have a specialization of the oral cavity, the palatal organ, which enables them to sort food particles from particulate substrate material such as gravel. The palatal organ taste information reaches the large, vagal lobe with a complex laminar and columnar organization. This lobe also supports a radially-organized reflex system which activates the musculature of the palatal organ to effect the sorting operation. The stereotyped, laminated structure of this system in goldfish has facilitated studies of the circuitry and neurotransmitter systems underlying the goldfish’s ability to sort food from stones.  相似文献

In this study, our aim was to assess several traits of cavity‐nesting Hymenopteran taxa in a low‐intensity agricultural landscape in Transylvania. The study took place between May and August 2018 at eight study sites in the hilly mountainous central part of Romania, where the majority of the landscape is used for extensive farming or forestry. During the processing of the trap nest material, we recorded several traits regarding the nests of different cavity‐nesting Hymenopteran taxa and the spider prey found inside the nests of the spider‐hunting representatives of these taxa. We also evaluated the relationship between the edge density and proportion of low‐intensity agricultural areas surrounding the study sites and some of these traits.The majority of nests were built by the solitary wasp genus Trypoxylon, followed by the solitary wasp taxa Dipogon and Eumeninae. Solitary bees were much less common, with Hylaeus being the most abundant genus. In the nests of Trypoxylon, we mostly found spider prey from the family of Araneidae, followed by specimens from the families of Linyphiidae and Theridiidae. In the nests of Dipogon, we predominantly encountered spider prey from the family of Thomisidae. We found significant effects of low‐intensity agricultural areas for the genera of Auplopus, Megachile, Osmia, and the Thomisid prey of Dipogon. We also found that the spider prey of Trypoxylon was significantly more diverse at study sites with higher proportions of low‐intensity agricultural areas.Our results indicate that solitary bees seem to be more abundant in areas, where the influence of human activities is stronger, while solitary wasps seem to rather avoid these areas. Therefore, we suggest that future studies not only should put more effort into sampling in low‐intensity agricultural landscapes but also focus more on solitary wasp taxa, when sampling such an area.  相似文献

本工作旨在观察脑干孤束核内蛋白酪氨酸激酶(protein tyrosine kinase,PTK)是否参与了外周化学感受性反射的呼吸反应调节。实验采用电生理和微量注射相结合的方法,以膈神经放电为观察指标,观察呼吸变化。通过吸入10%氧气(10%O2,90%N2)引导出外周化学感受性反射。在孤束核(nucleus tractus solitarius,NTS)处分别微量注射蛋白酪氨酸激酶的抑制剂,genistein和其非活动性抑制剂daidzein以及AMPA受体阻断剂CNQX,观察这些药物对外周化学感受性反射的影响。结果显示,吸入低氧混合气后,动物呼吸加深加快;在NTS处微量注射CNQX或genistein都会不同程度削弱外周化学感受性反射引起的通气反应,而微量注射daidzein后对反射没有影响。另外,在NTS处微量注射CNQx后再注射genistein,其削弱外周化学感受性反射的作用与单独微量注射CNQx或genistein基本相同,二者并无协同作用。结果提示,NTS处的蛋白酪氨酸激酶对外周化学感受性反射具有一定的调节作用,并且NTS处磷酸化修饰,AMPA受体可能是PTK发挥这种调节作用的途径之一。  相似文献

Primate social systems are highly diverse, complicating the classification of particularly elusive species that are difficult to observe. The spatial distribution of individuals over time is a critica lindicator for the social organization and long‐term studies are important to establish patterns of social interactions. In recent years, species of the cryptic, nocturnal sportive lemurs of the genus Lepilemur were found to live in pairs in which a single male and a single female share and defend a mutual home range. The present study aimed to forward research into this underrepresented genus by determining the social organization and structure of the Sahamalaza sportive lemur, L. sahamalaza. We collected 773.15 hr of behavioral and GPS data during a period of 10 months (between 2015 and 2016) on 14 individuals: eight females and six males. There was no evidence of pair‐specific home range use as intra‐ and intersexual home range overlap was high. No pattern of social interactions between focal individuals could be distinguished despite high range overlap. Individuals met and interacted infrequently, resulting in an interaction rate of 0.32 interactions/hr. Sleeping associations between adult individuals were never observed. While both sexes had access to multiple potential mating partners, range sizes or ranging distances did not increase in mating periods. Overall, the social system of Sahamalaza sportive lemurs exhibits aspects of a solitary social organization and structure with potential for the polygamous mating system. These findings underline the importance of detailed social ecology studies that can provide the basis for understanding potential environmental influences on social system variability of closely related species.  相似文献

Summary The mechanism of long-distance flight in insects was investigated by comparing lipid mobilization and transport in gregarious- and solitary-phase locusts and in the American cockroach. Unlike the gregarious-phase locust, both the American cockroach and the solitary locust were unable to form low-density lipophorin (loaded with increased amount of diacylglycerol) even when injected with adipokinetic hormone (AKH). The cockroach fat body responded to AKH. However, not only does the American cockroach lack apolipophorin-III (apoLp-III) in the haemolymph, but the fat body contains only an extremely small amount of diacylglycerol and a relatively large triacylglycerol pool. By contrast, the solitary-phase locust had apoLp-III in the haemolymph, but the fat body was only one-seventh or less in weight of the fat body of the gregarious locust. Furthermore, the fat body of the solitary locust contains a very small amount of triacylglycerol (1/20 or less of that of the gregarious locust) with only a trace of diacylglycerol. The thallus of Harveyella mirabilis (Reinsch) Schmitz & Reinke is composed of vegetative rhizoidal cells growing intrusively between adjacent cells of the red algal hosts (Odonthalia and Rhodomela) and a protruding reproductive pustule. Although primarily composed of Harveyella cells, host medullary and cortical cells also occur in the emergent pustule. In both tissue regions, Harveyella cells are connected to host cells by secondary pit connections initiated by the host. Direct penetration of host cells by rhizoidal cells of Harveyella occasionally occurs, resulting in host cell death. Degeneration of host medullary cells beneath the pustule may result in a hollow branch and the cortical cells undergo cell division forming a thick palisade layer of randomly associated, photo-synthetically active cells. It is within these branches that the parasite overwinters vegetatively. Host medullary and cortical cells dispersed in the emergent pustule show few of the degenerative responses noted in host cells adjacent to parasite rhizoidal cells. Rather, host cell division, chloroplast division and photosynthetic assimilation of H14CO?3 all increase. Spherical virus-like solitary bodies (S-bodies) occur in all Harveyella cells and in all host cells attached to Harveyella by secondary pit connections. The possibility that these structures may induce the infective response in the host is discussed.  相似文献
