During the last roughly 100 years (1881–1989) some noteworthy changes have occurred in the planktonic Cladocera taxocene of the lake Popradské pleso (High Tatra Mts., Czecho-Slovakia). Primarily, in course of the twenties up to the fifties of our century Daphnia pulicaria and Polyphemus pediculus, and later also Holopedium gibberum, disappeared from the plankton of the lake. Conversely, approximately from the mid-seventies, Daphnia longispina has become a constituent of the lake plankton. In spite of lacking data on the principal parameters of the abiotic and biotic environment from the past, the author assumes that probably the most important factor responsible for the changes referred to were fluctuations in the predation pressure of fish. Besides, organic pollution might have played a definite but less important role.  相似文献

Future levels in ultraviolet-B (UVB) radiation are expected to increase directly due to stratospheric ozone depletion and under water indirectly by, for example, global warming effects on DOC concentrations, altered trophic interactions in the plankton, or reduced eutrophication. While detrimental UV effects have been reported at the cellular level, little to nothing is known about community-wide effects of ambient and future UVB radiation. In a 4-month field experiment, the ambient UV regime was (i) reduced by cut-off filters which removed either UVB or total UV from the solar spectrum or (ii) increased to predicted future levels by UVB lamps. To allow relating the effects of present and future UV regimes to another important ecological control of community structure and diversity in subtidal marine habitats, consumer effects were quantified by an exclusion treatment under ambient light regimes. Ambient UV regimes did not affect community structure, biomass accrual, and diversity. In contrast, under enhanced UVB levels, the dominance of the competitively superior blue mussels increased and species richness and biomass accrual decreased. Species composition of the assemblages differed between the two UV regimes. Effects of enhanced UVB radiation and of consumption on biomass accrual, diversity, and structure of the community were comparable in magnitude and timing, but of opposite direction. In contrast, the effects of enhanced UVB radiation on growth and abundance of mussels were in the same direction, but shorter and weaker than consumer effects. Most UV effects were transitory and vanished within the first 2 months of succession. Our results indicate that present and future UVB levels may be of limited importance and not stronger in effect size than other ecological controls in structuring the shallow-water low-diversity macrobenthic communities in temperate regions.  相似文献

为深入了解影响茶园节肢动物群落多样性的因子,本文对在茶园地面种植长节耳草Hedyotis uncinella Hook & Arn(茜草科,耳草属)的复合茶园茶树生境节肢动物类群多样性指数、物种丰富度、类群均匀度、物种优势度指数和类群优势集中性指数5个主要特征值之间的关系进行了因子分析与通径分析。结果显示:茶树生境节肢动物类群5个主要特征值可综合为三个主份量。第一主份量代表类群多样性指数和均匀性;第二主份量集中体现物种丰富度;第三主份量代表优势度指数,它们对方差的贡献率分别为50.279%、26.920%和22.466%。复合茶园节肢动物类群多样性与节肢动物类群丰富度和天敌类群丰富度呈极显著的正相关,而同类群优势集中性呈极显著的负相关。因此,要提高茶园节肢动物类群的多样性可通过营造复合茶园生境来增加节肢动物类群物种丰富度和天敌类群物种丰富度而减少物种优势集中性来实现。  相似文献

拉萨河流域外来鱼类的分布、群落结构及其与环境的关系   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
为揭示当前拉萨河流域外来鱼类的现状及其主要影响因素,于2010、2012及2014年对该流域的鱼类群落结构及水体环境进行了调查。共捕获4目6科17属25种鱼类,包括13种外来鱼类和12种土著鱼类。在42个采样点中的19个发现了外来鱼类,包括12处的湿地、6处的河流及1处水库采样点。外来鱼类基本都分布在下游,除了鲫(Carassius auratus)分布到了上游,鲤(Cyprinus carpio)、鳙(Aristichthys nobilis)和泥鳅(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus)分布到了中游。分布最广、数量最多的土著鱼类是拉萨裸裂尻鱼(Schizopygopsis younghusbandi younghusbandi)、东方高原鳅(Triplophysa orientalis)和西藏高原鳅(Triplophysa tibetana),最常见的外来鱼类为泥鳅、鲫和麦穗鱼(Pseudorasbora parva)。典范对应分析表明,该流域的鱼类群落同时受局域和区域环境因素的作用,二者对鱼类群落变异的总解释量为33.9%。海拔、圆石的比例和沙的比例与鱼类群落结构的关系最为紧密。今后应当开展外来鱼类的监控和清除工作,减少人为活动对河流生态系统的干扰,以促进该地区外来鱼类的防控工作及土著鱼类的保护。  相似文献

空气花粉研究是现代孢粉学、植被变迁与预测的重要内容之一.陕西省黄土高原地区洛川县2007-2009连续2a的空气花粉分析表明:空气花粉组成与区域植被分布特征和植物花期一致.与2007—2008年相比,2008-2009年的花粉总通量及蒿属花粉通量明显增加,但木本植物花粉通量降低,这主要与2008-2009年降水明显偏少密切相关.2007-2008年降雨量高于500 mm,花粉组合中乔木花粉百分比高于30%,表现出森林植被特点;2008-2009年降雨量少于450 mm,花粉组合中草本花粉高于80%,乔木花粉低于10%,更多表现出草原植被特点.但从植被观测来看并没有明显的变化,表明花粉组合较植被对气候变化更为敏感.主要花粉类型与气候因子的相关分析表明:气候因子影响空气花粉的组成及数量.栎属、松属、蔷薇科花粉数量主要受春季温度影响,温度越高花粉数量越多;其他季节花粉数量主要受相对湿度影响,湿度越低,花粉数量越大.榆属花粉数量主要与冬季温度有关,温度越高,花粉数量越高.杨属只受春季温度影响,春季温度越低,花粉数量越多.胡颓子科花粉含量主要受春季相对湿度、风速影响,相对湿度越低,风速越大,花粉数量越多.绝大多数草本花粉数量均主要受春、冬季相对湿度及风速影响,相对湿度越低,风速越大,花粉数量越高;此外,禾本科花粉数量还受春季温度影响,温度越高,花粉数量越多;菊科花粉数量在夏秋季节还受温度、湿度和风速的共同影响,温度越低,湿度越低,风速越大,花粉数量越多.这些结果表明,黄土高原中部地区的空气花粉特征能反映区域植被组成,且对气候变化非常敏感,对认识和预测当地气候变化与植被动态等具有重要意义.  相似文献

We documented an example of the mass extinction in a medium-sized and large mammal assemblage in the Pernambuco Endemism Centre, one of the most important hotspots of the world. During 12 months we carried out diurnal and nocturnal surveys through the line transect method, in forest fragments measuring from 10 to 500 ha. About half of the species have gone locally extinct, including all large mammals. The largest number of species and sighting rates was recorded in the largest fragment. No fragment held the entire remaining mammal community and not all species sighted in the smaller fragments were present in the largest. Only two species were sighted in the very small fragment, the commonest fragment size in the entire Pernambuco Endemism Centre. The mammalian assemblage is highly simplified, and characterized by an unprecedented local extinction process. The abundance of the remaining population is far below the minimum viable population needed for long-term survival which needs to be taken into account by decision makers. The scenario here presented suggests that the 21st century fauna of this important hotspot will be dominated by small, generalist species, which can survive in close association with humans.  相似文献

Ichnological analysis of a Middle Jurassic carbonate surface from the Betic Cordillera (southern Spain) reveals a complex trace fossil assemblage, including softground Ophiomorpha, firmground Arenicolites, Thalassinoides and Gastrochaenolites, and hardground Trypanites as well as possible Gastrochaenolites. The ecological replacement in the macrobenthic community is interpreted according to successive suites that are controlled mainly by substrate consistency. Variations in composition and abundance of trace fossils between suites can be ecologically and/or taphonomically determined.  相似文献

Morphological, anatomical and palynological characters of V. umphangensis are compared with a similar species, V. betonicifolia Sm. We investigated the plant species diversity, community assemblage, net primary production and soil carbon sequestration in an old field (OF), which went through passive restoration with spontaneous secondary succession, and a restored prairie (RP), which went through active restoration with reintroduction of native plants. The passive restoration in OF did not attain as high diversity and richness of plant species as did in RP. Our NMS (nonmetric multidimensional scaling) ordination revealed a clear divergence of RP and OF vegetation with dissimilar species compositions to separate paths of succession trajectory. The spontaneous succession in OF has made very little progress due to a potentially strong inhibitory priority effect of invasive plants. The belowground biomass in the high-diversity RP was 1.3× higher than the low-diversity OF. We found no measurable difference in soil C sequestration between RP and OF at this time, possibly due to edaphic factors, lack of legumes, or both. Human intervention is needed for restoring abandoned croplands—highly disturbed, fragmented and isolated habitats—to tallgrass prairies in the U.S. Midwest. Our recommended intervention includes but is not limited to removal of exotic plants, further augmentation of native plants (particularly legumes), and periodic burns.  相似文献

The abundance, composition and dynamics of zooplankton were followed in two reservoirs of the River Douro catchment. The Serra Serrada Reservoir is subject to marked fluctuations in water levels. The highest values of total phosphorus, soluble reactive phosphorus, nitrate, water colour and chlorophyll a were found during the minimum level phase. Rotifera was dominant except in late summer and autumn when the cladoceran Ceriodaphnia quadrangula or the copepod Tropocyclops prasinus replaced them as the dominant zooplankton. Among the rotifers the most common taxa were Keratella cochlearis, Conochilus sp. and Asplanchna priodonta. Maximum rotifer density was about 80,000 ind m−3 in 2000, 200,000 ind m−3 in 2001 and 100,000 ind m−3 in 2002. Among the crustacean zooplankton C. quadrangula achieved densities of up to 45,000 ind m−3 and T. prasinus, up to 80,000 ind m−3. Canonical correspondence analysis revealed a strong contribution of the variation in the stored water volume, temperature, total phosphorus, chlorophyll, nitrates, and water transparency to the observed, significant association between zooplankton assemblage and environmental variables. In the Azibo Reservoir, fluctuations in water level are smaller. Only total phosphorus, cholorophyll and conductivity varied seasonally. Cladocera and Copepoda were dominant during the whole study period. The most abundant taxa were Ceriodaphnia pulchella, Daphnia longispina, Diaphanosoma brachyurum, Bosmina longirostris and Copidodiaptomus numidicus. Cladocera achieved densities of up to 25,000 ind m−3 and Copepoda up to 15,000 ind m−3. Rotifera in general reached densities of up to 6,000 ind m−3. On the basis of canonical correspondence analysis only temperature and conductivity were significantly associated with zooplankton assemblage.  相似文献
