对植物种子萌发过程中贮藏油脂动员的研究进展进行了综述。不同种子的贮藏油脂的降解途径不同。目前提出有3条途径:传统的脂酶直接水解途径;新近发现的酰基-CoA-二酯酰甘油酰基转移酶途径和脂氧合酶(LOX)途径。前两条途径不依赖于LOX。这3条途径可能在贮藏油脂动员过程中是并存的,但目前尚不知道在种子萌发过程中油脂降解是以那一条降解途径为主,以及不同的种之间是否存在差异。此外,3条降解途径目前都缺乏分子生物学的直接证据。  相似文献

The determination of enzymatic activities in cell-free extracts of Acidaminococcus fermentans and Peptostreptococcus asaccharolyticus led to a refined scheme for the pathway of glutamate fermentation via (R)-2-hydroxyglutarate to acetate and butyrate. From the ratio of these products the amount of ATP generated by substrate level phosphorylation was calculated. Growth experiments with the organisms including Clostridium symbiosum and Clostridium tetanomorphum indicated that a sodium gradient contributed additional energy for growth. The high growth yields found in organisms containing the biotin dependent sodium pump glutaconyl-CoA decarboxylase could be reduced by the sodium ionophor monensin. In P. asaccharolyticus energy equivalent up to 0.6 mol ATP per mol of glutaconyl-CoA decarboxylated was conserved via the Na+ gradient. The data may explain the growth promoting effects of monensin in cattle.  相似文献

为了解环境胁迫对植物体中抗坏血酸含量及氧化还原状态的影响,以不同强度的冰冻和干旱两种胁迫为例,研究了它们对沈阳几种针叶树离体叶抗坏血酸、脱氢抗坏血酸含量以及抗坏血酸-谷胱甘肽循环中4种酶活性的影响.结果表明,两种胁迫达到一定强度后,都能使还原态抗坏血酸含量下降而使脱氢抗坏血酸含量上升.冰冻使抗坏血酸过氧化酶和单脱氢抗坏血酸还原酶活性下降.轻度失水使这两种酶活性上升,失水加重后转而趋于下降.脱氢抗坏血酸还原酶和谷胱甘肽还原酶活性对两种胁迫反应均不如前两种酶敏感.结合以前的研究结果,认为这一H2O2清除系统在导致驯化(acclimation)的轻度胁迫作用下可以得到加强,而当胁迫强度过大时则其清除能力下降并使组织受到伤害.文中还报告了沈阳几种针叶树抗寒性和针叶中抗坏血酸含量及上述4种酶活性之间的相关关系.  相似文献

The accumulation of vitamin B6 by Pichia guilliermondii Wickerham NK–2 strain grown on hydrocarbon was investigated. Ammonium acetate was more effective than other nitrogen sources tested. Satisfactory utilization by the yeast strain was observed in n-alkanes of C10–C18, and n-pentadecane was the best for vitamin B6 production. Vitamin B6 was excreted in the cultural broth mainly in the form of pyridoxal, The maximal vitamin B6 production was approximately 25 mg per liter of the culture broth.  相似文献

Because of the water-limited nature and discontinuous plant cover of shortgrass steppe, spatial patterns in ecosystem properties are influenced more by the presence or absence of plants than by plant type. However, plant type may influence temporal patterns of nutrient cycling between plant and soil. Plants having the carbon-3 (C3) or carbon-4 (C4) photosynthetic pathway differ in phenology as well as other attributes that affect nitrogen (N) cycling. We estimated net N mineralization rates and traced nitrogen-15 (15N) additions among plant and soil components during May, July, and September of 1995 in native plots of C3 plants, C4 plants, or mixtures of C3 and C4. Net N mineralization was significantly greater in C3 plots than in C4 plots during both July and September. C3 plots retained significantly more 15N in May than did mixed and C4 plots; these differences in 15N retention were due to greater 15N uptake by C3 plants than by C4 plants during May. There were no significant differences in total 15N retention among plant communities for July and September. Soil 15N was influenced more by presence or absence of plants than by type of plant; greater quantities of 15N remained in soil interspaces between plants than in soil directly under plants for July and September. Our results indicate that plant functional type (C3 versus C4) can affect both the spatial and the temporal patterns of N cycling in shortgrass steppe. Further research is necessary to determine how these intraseasonal differences translate to longer-term and coarser-scale effects of plants on N cycling, retention, and storage. The intensitive investigations on the lipid profile of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans at various culture ages suggest some correlations of the lipid constitutents with the membrane-bound iron oxidation system. Phosphatidic acid, phosphatidyl serine and phosphatidyl ethanolamine were the major polar components; hydrocarbon, triglyceride and diglyceride were the main neutral components. Major fatty acids were C16:0, C16:1, C16:3, C18:1, C18:3, C22:1 while C20:1, C20:2, C12:0, C14:2, C18:0, C18:2, C20:0, C22:0 were found in trace amounts which also depended upon the phase of the growth. One lipoamino acid was identified as ornithine lipid in the polar fraction. Each and every component varied to some extent at different growth phasesindicating relationship of these lipids to the iron oxidation system of the strain.  相似文献

Selenium is an essential trace element in mammals and is thought to play a chemopreventive role in human cancer, possibly by inducing tumor cell apoptosis. Mitochondria play a pivotal role in the induction of apoptosis in many cell types. The effects of selenite on mitochondrial function were therefore investigated. Selenite induced the oxidation and cross-linking of protein thiol groups, mitochondrial permeability transition (MPT), a decrease in the mitochondrial membrane potential, and the release of cytochrome c in mitochondria isolated from rat liver. Induction of the MPT by selenite was prevented by cyclosporin A, EGTA, or N-ethylmaleimide. These results thus indicate that selenite induces the MPT as a result of direct modification of protein thiol groups, resulting in the release of cytochrome c and a loss of mitochondrial membrane potential.  相似文献

This study aimed to explore the underlying mechanism of linc01014 in oesophagus cancer gefitinib resistance. Gefitinib‐resistant oesophagus squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC gefitinibR) cell lines were constructed by using different gefitinib treatment in FLO‐1, KYAE‐1, TE‐8 and TE‐5 cell lines and confirmed by MTS50 and proliferation assays. Expression of linc01014 was overexpressed/silenced in FLO‐1 cells followed by gefitinib treatment, and then, the apoptosis‐associated markers Bax and Bcl‐2, and PI3KCA in PI3K signalling pathway were determined using Western blotting. MST50 and morphology analyses showed that ESCC gefitinibR cell lines presented obvious gefitinib resistance than their parental ESCC cell lines. ESCC gefitinibR cell lines showed significantly higher proliferation abilities than their parental ESCC cell lines after treating with gefitinib. Overexpression of linc01014 significantly inhibited the apoptosis of FLO‐1 cells induced by gefitinib and silencing linc01014 obviously promoted the apoptosis of FLO‐1 cells induced by gefitinib. Silencing linc01014 could significantly increase the gefitinib chemotherapy sensitivity of oesophagus cancer via PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR signalling pathway.  相似文献
