In the processing field, there is a saying that “seed drugs be stir-fried”. Bitter almond (BA) is a kind of seed Chinese medicine. BA need be used after being fried. To distinguish raw bitter almonds (RBA) from processed products and prove the rationality of “seed drugs be stir-fried”, we analyzed the RBA and five processed products (scalded bitter almonds, fried bitter almonds, honey fried bitter almonds, bran fried bitter almonds, bitter almonds cream) using RP-HPLC fingerprints and chemometric methods. The similarity between RBA and processed products was 0.733∼0.995. Hierarchically clustered heatmap was used to evaluate the changes in components. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used for classification, and all samples are distinguished according to RBA and five processing methods. Six chemical markers were obtained by partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA). The content and degradation rate of amygdalin and β-glucosidase activity were determined. Compared with RBA, the content and degradation rate of amygdalin, and β-glucosidase activity were increased in bitter almonds cream. The content and degradation rate were decreased, and β-glucosidase was inactivated in other processed products. The above results showed that stir-frying had the best effect. The results showed that processing can ensure the stability of RBA quality, and the saying “seed drugs be stir-fried” is reasonable. 相似文献

Abstract Biocontrol activities of a total of 103 yeast isolates were tested against postharvest diseases of peaches. Seven isolates, with the best efficacy in reducing the number of infected wounds or lesion sizes of Penicillium expansum and Botrytis cinerea, were selected for further large‐scale experiments. In large‐scale experiments, all selected isolates were significantly effective (P ≤ 0.05) in reducing the number of infected wounds and the diameter of lesions caused by P. expansum, B. cinerea, and Monilinia fructicola. DR52 was significantly superior to all the other yeasts in effectiveness against all three pathogens. The efficacy of the other yeast antagonists against B. cinerea and P. expansum was almost equal, while the control of M. fructicola was inferior. DR52 was selected for further storage experiment because its efficacy was higher against the three pathogens and it also showed a different random amplified polymorphic DNA‐polymerase chain reaction pattern compared with other isolates. DR52 was identified by Centraalbureau voor Schimmeelcultures (Baarn, The Netherlands) as Kloeckera apiculata. K. apiculata completely controlled both pathogens after 30 days of storage. Its efficacy declined to an 83.4% reduction in B. cinerea incidence and an 87.5% reduction in P. expansum incidence after 45 days of storage. 相似文献

The decline of large coevolved frugivorous species within fragmented habitats can have an effect on ecological processes, for example, seed dispersal and germination. It is therefore necessary for more resilient species to ensure essential processes are maintained within the system. This study investigates the influence of two rodent species, Melomys cervinipes (Fawn‐footed Melomys) and Rattus fuscipes (Bush Rat), on the germination process of rainforest fruits. Both species are endemic to north Queensland rainforest and commonly found in fragmented habitats in high densities. We found in 85% of fruit species tested, rodent feeding increased seed germination rate by a factor of 3.5. Our results suggest that rodents can play a significant role in enhancing germination rates of fruits in the tropical rainforest of far north Queensland. 相似文献

This study was conducted to analyze the bioactive compounds and in vitro antioxidant capacity of tea infusions prepared from whole and ground medicinal fruits, including gardenia, jujube, magnolia, quince, and wolfberries. The dried medicinal fruit samples were ground, and then passed through a 60‐mesh sieve (pore size, 250 μm). Hot water (80 °C) infusions of whole and ground fruits were examined. In average of both whole and ground tea infusions, the maximum bioactive compounds were found in gardenia (β‐carotene, lycopene, and vitamin C), magnolia (total chlorophyll and anthocyanin), quince (flavonoid), and wolfberries (phenolic), and the maximum antioxidant capacity was found in quince (ABTS and DPPH) and wolfberries (NSA). Whole fruit tea infusions showed a higher brightness than the ground fruit tea infusions. The total chlorophyll, anthocyanin, β‐carotene, lycopene, phenolic, flavonoid, and vitamin C contents were found to be significantly (p≤0.001) higher in the ground fruit tea infusions than in the whole fruit tea infusions; additionally, the ground fruit tea infusions had a higher antioxidant capacity especially ABTS, DPPH and NSA. Therefore, the ground fruit tea infusions appeared to be more powerful with regard to the contents of bioactive compounds and antioxidant capacities than the whole fruit tea infusions. 相似文献
