This paper gives a quantitative analysis on the non-CO2 emissions related to energy demand, energy activities and land use change of six scenarios with different development pattern in 2030 and 2050 based on IPAC emission model. The various mitigation technologies and policies are assessed to understand the corresponding non-CO2 emission reduction effect. The research shows that the future non-CO2 emissions of China will grow along with increasing energy demand, in which thermal power and transportation will be the major emission and mitigation sectors. During the cause of future social and economic development, the control and mitigation of non-CO2 emissions is a problem as challenging and pressing as that of CO2 emissions.This study indicates that the energy efficiency improvement, renewable energy, advanced nuclear power generation, fuel cell, coal-fired combined cycle, clean coal and motor vehicle emission control technologies will contribute to non-CO2 emissions control and mitigation.  相似文献

An absolute environmental sustainability assessment (AESA) addresses whether a production or consumption activity can be considered environmentally sustainable in an absolute sense. This involves a comparison of its environmental pressure to its allocated environmental carrying capacity. AESA methods have been developed in multiple academic fields, each using their own set of concepts and terms with little communication across the fields. A recent growing interest in using AESA methods for decision support calls for a better common understanding of the constituents of an AESA method and how it can be communicated to scientific peers and to potential users. With this aim, we develop a framework for AESA methods, composed of a succession of four assessment steps and involving six methodological choices that must be made by the method developer or the user. We then use the framework to analyze and compare five selected AESA methods that focus on the release of phosphorus and nitrogen to the environment. In this manner, we show that the framework is able to systematically differentiate AESA methods that initially appear to be similar. Intended users of the framework include (1) method developers communicating new AESA methods to academic peers or potential method users and (2) researchers comparing a group of existing AESA methods and communicating their differences to their peers and to potential users looking for guidance on method selection.  相似文献

利用静态箱-气相色谱法,对小兴安岭轻度火烧毛赤杨沼泽CH4、CO2、N2O生长季排放通量进行研究.结果表明:火烧使毛赤杨沼泽生长季CH4排放通量提高485.2%,CO2和N2O排放通量分别下降45.5%、24.8%.火烧未改变CH4季节性排放规律,但改变了CO2、N2O季节性变化规律.火烧样地CH4排放通量与土壤15cm温度间存在显著正相关性关系而与水位相关性不显著,火烧样地CO2排放与土壤0-30 cm温度呈显著或极显著正相关,与水位极显著负相关.对照样地CO2排放通量与土壤0-15 cm温度呈显著或极显著正相关,与水位极显著负相关,火烧使毛赤杨沼泽CH4排放源的强度增强,CO2、N2O的排放消弱,全球温室潜势下降约为43.34%.  相似文献

In this study, we demonstrated that Ent-11alpha-hydroxy-15-oxo-kaur-16-en-19-oic-acid (5F) had stronger cytotoxicity against MKN-45, a gastric cancer cell line bearing wild-type p53 than MKN-28, another gastric cancer cell line containing missense mutation in p53. The rapid increase of ROS level was involved in the mechanism of cytotoxicity. Classical features of apoptosis induced by 5F were observed in MKN-45 cells only or more significant in MKN-45 cells than MKN-28 cells. Translocation of Bax from cytosol to mitochondria, reduction of delta psi m and DNA fragmentation were induced by 5F in the p53-dependent manner. We conclude that the expression of Bax and its downstream molecules requires the presentation of a wild-type p53 in the cells treated by 5F.  相似文献

Fluorescent molecular sensors having excimer emission property have been designed and synthesised incorporating calix[4]arene derivatives in cone and 1,3-alternate conformation as ionophore and two pyrene moieties at close proximity as fluorophore. They exhibit strong excimer emission around 515 nm, which is used to monitor interaction of metal ions with the ionophores. Ion-binding study of these fluoroionophore has been investigated in acetonitrile-chloroform and THF-H2O with a wide range of cations and anions and the recognition process is monitored by luminescence, UV-Vis and 1H NMR (for F) spectral changes. The present study demonstrated profound influence of solvent in ion selectivity, in acetonitrile-chloroform they formed complexes with Hg2+, Pb2+, Cu2+ and Ni2+, whereas in THF-H2O they exhibit selectivity only for Cu2+. In the case of anions, selectivity for only F with color change is observed. Composition of the complexes formed was determined from mass spectrometry and the binding constants were determined from fluorescence titration data. The reasons for formation of excimer emission, quenching of it in presence of certain metal ions, role of solvent in selectivity and energy/electron transfer process involved in the ion-recognition event have been discussed on the basis of experimental data.  相似文献

Amyloid PET using high-affinity ligands for fibrillary amyloid is providing high specificity and sensitivity for detection of Alzheimer's disease (AD) even before onset of dementia. Most current published data have been acquired using 11C-Pittsburgh Compound B (PIB). However, due to the extremely short half-life of 11C, PIB is available only in some research laboratories. This limitation will be overcome by 18F-labeled ligands which are currently undergoing formal clinical trials as amyloid imaging agents and are expected to become commercially available for clinical use in the near future. Compared to FDG, which demonstrates regional metabolic deficits in AD and late-stage mild cognitive impairment (MCI), amyloid imaging is expected to provide higher sensitivity for early detection of AD. By detecting amyloid, it is providing information that is complementary to clinical symptoms, while FDG-PET is more closely related to dementia severity and cognitive symptoms. Current data suggest that a negative amyloid PET scan is likely to rule out AD with more than 90% certainty, while a positive scan in a dementia patient or a patient with amnestic MCI indicates a very high likelihood of AD. There is still uncertainty about the clinical significance of positive amyloid scans in elderly normal controls (10 to 40% depending on age and selection criteria).  相似文献

Rare earth ions (Eu3+ or Tb3+)‐activated Ca3 Ga2 Si3O12 (CaGaSi) phosphors were synthesized by using a sol–gel method. Photoluminescence spectra of Eu3+:CaGaSi phosphors exhibited five emission bands at 578, 592, 612, 652 and 701 nm, which were assigned to the transitions (5D07F0, 7F1, 7F2, 7F3 and 7F4), respectively, with an excitation wavelength of λexci = 392 nm. Among these, the transition 5D07F2 (612 nm) displayed bright red emission. In the case of Tb3+:CaGaSi phosphors, four emission bands were observed at 488 (5D47F6), 543 (5D47F5), 584 (5D47F4) and 614 nm (5D47F3) from the measurement of PL spectra with λexci = 376 nm. Among these, the transition 5D47F5 at 543 nm displayed bright green emission. The structure and morphology of the phosphors were studied from the measurements of X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis (EDAX) results. The absolute configurations (AC) of natural occurring 6-hydroxyeuryopsin (1), of its acetyl derivative 2, and of eremophilanolide 8 were confirmed by comparison of the experimental vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectra with theoretical curves generated from density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Initial analyses were carried out using a Monte Carlo searching with the MMFF94 molecular mechanics force field. All MMFF94 conformers were further optimized using DFT at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory, followed by calculations of their vibrational frequencies at the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p); the VCD spectra of 2 and 8 were also calculated at the B3PW91/DGDZVP level of theory. Good agreement between theoretical and experimental VCD curves unambiguously verified the 4S,5R,6S absolute configuration for 1 and 2, and the 1S,4S,5R,6S,8S,10S configuration for 8.  相似文献

11β-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-type 2 (11β-HSD2) regulates the local concentration of cortisol that can activate the glucocorticoid receptor and mineralocorticoid receptor, as well as the concentration of 11-keto-testosterone, the active androgen in fish. Similarly, 17β-HSD2 regulates the levels of testosterone and estradiol that activate the androgen receptor and estrogen receptor, respectively. Interestingly, although human 11β-HSD2 and 17β-HSD2 act at different positions on different steroids, these enzymes are paralogs. Despite the physiological importance of 11β-HSD2 and 17β-HSD2, details of their origins and divergence from a common ancestor are not known. An opportunity to understand their evolution is presented by the recent sequencing of genomes from sea urchin, a basal deuterostome, and amphioxus, a basal chordate, and the availability of substantial sequence for acorn worm and elephant shark, which together provide a more complete dataset for analysis of the origins of 11β-HSD2 and 17β-HSD2. BLAST searches find an ancestral sequence of 17β-HSD2 in sea urchin, acorn worm and amphioxus, while an ancestral sequence of 11β-HSD2 first appears in sharks. Sequence analyses indicate that 17β-HSD2 in sea urchin may have a non-enzymatic activity. Evolutionary analyses indicate that if acorn worm 17β-HSD2 is catalytically active, then it metabolizes novel substrate(s).  相似文献

Mosses have substantial amounts of long chain C20 polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as arachidonic and eicosapentaenoic acid, in addition to the shorter chain C18 α-linolenic and linoleic acids, which are typical substrates of lipoxygenases in flowering plants. To identify the fatty acid substrates used by moss lipoxygenases, eight lipoxygenase genes from Physcomitrella patens were heterologously expressed in Escherichia coli, and then analyzed for lipoxygenase activity using linoleic, α-linolenic and arachidonic acids as substrates. Among the eight moss lipoxygenases, only seven were found to be enzymatically active in vitro, two of which selectively used arachidonic acid as the substrate, while the other five preferred α-linolenic acid. Based on enzyme assays using a Clark-type oxygen electrode, all of the active lipoxygenases had an optimum pH at 7.0, except for one with highest activity at pH 5.0. HPLC analyses indicated that the two arachidonic acid lipoxygenases form (12S)-hydroperoxy eicosatetraenoic acid as the main product, while the other five lipoxygenases produce mainly (13S)-hydroperoxy octadecatrienoic acid from α-linolenic acid. These results suggest that mosses may have both C20 and C18 based oxylipin pathways.  相似文献
