The effects of millimeter microwaves in the frequency range of 54–76 GHz on capacitance and conductance of lipid bilayer membranes (BLM) were studied. Some of the membranes were modified by gramicidin A and amphotericin B or by tetraphenylboron anions (TPhB?). The millimeter microwaves were pulse-modulated (PW) at repetition rates ranging from 1 to 100 pps, PW at 1000 pps, or unmodulated continuous waves (CW). The maximum output power at the waveguide outlet was 20 mW. It was found that CW irradiation decreased the unmodified BLM capacitance by 1.2% ± 0.5%. At the same time, membrane current induced by TPhB transport increased by 5% ± 1%. The changes in conductance of ionic channels formed by gramicidin A and amphotericin B were small (0.6% ± 0.4%). No “resonance-like” effects of mm-wave irradiation on membrane capacitance, ionic channel currents, or TPhB transport were detected. All changes in membrane capacitance and currents were independent of the modulation employed and were equivalent to heating by approximately 1.1 °C. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

The objective of the present work is to estimate for the first time the percolation threshold of a new series of dextran (native dextran of high molecular weight [B110-1-2, Mw = 2 x 10(6)]), in matrices of lobenzarit disodium (LBD) and to apply the obtained result to the design of hydrophilic matrices for the controlled delivery of this drug. The formulations studied were prepared with different amounts of excipient in the range of 20% to 70% wt/wt. Dissolution studies were performed using the paddle method (100 rpm) and one face water uptake measurements were performed using a modified Enslin apparatus. The Higuchi, zero-order, and Hixson-Crowell models as well as the nonlinear regression model were employed as empiric methods to study the release data. Values of diffusion exponent 0.563 < n < 0.786 (Korsmeyer equation) for dissolution profile and water uptake mechanism 0.715 < n < 1 (Davidson and Peppas equation) suggested anomalous or complex mechanisms. On the other hand, the contribution of the relaxation or erosion and of the diffusive mechanism in Peppas-Sahlin equation indicated that the main mechanism for drug delivery from tablets is swelling controlled delivery (K(r)/K(d) < 1). The critical points observed in kinetic parameters above 58.63% vol/vol of native dextran B110-1-2 plus initial porosity in the LBD-dextran matrices with a relative polymer/drug particle size of 4.17 were attributed to the existence of an excipient percolation threshold.  相似文献

LiCoO2 electrodes contain three phases, or domains, each having specific‐intended functions: ion‐conducting pore space, lithium‐ion‐reacting active material, and electron conducting carbon‐binder domain (CBD). Transport processes take place in all domains on different characteristic length scales: from the micrometer scale in the active material grains through to the nanopores in the carbon‐binder phase. Consequently, more than one imaging approach must be utilized to obtain a hierarchical geometric representation of the electrode. An approach incorporating information from the micro‐ and nanoscale to calculate 3D transport‐relevant properties in a large‐reconstructed active domain is presented. Advantages of focused ion beam/scanning electron microscopy imaging and X‐ray tomography combined by a spatial stochastic model, validated with an artificially produced reference structure are used. This novel approach leads to significantly different transport relevant properties compared with previous tomographic approaches: nanoporosity of the CBD leads to up to 42% additional contact area between active material and pore space and increases ionic conduction by a factor of up to 3.6. The results show that nanoporosity within the CBD cannot be neglected.  相似文献

采用冷渗漉提取的方法提取马兰的化学成分。经硅胶柱色谱和Sephadex LH-20进行分离纯化,通过理化方法和波谱数据分析进行结构鉴定。从80%乙醇冷渗漉提取物的水不溶物中分离并鉴定了12个化合物,分别为正十六烷酸(1)、6-羟基-桉烷-4(14)-烯(2)、β-谷甾醇(3)、α-菠菜甾醇(4)、香草醛(5)、β-20(21),24-二烯-达玛烷-3-酮(6)、豆甾醇(7)、木栓酮(8)、羽扇豆酮(9)、α-香树脂醇(10)、表木栓醇(11)、神经酰胺(12)。化合物2、6、9、12均为首次从该种植物中分得。  相似文献

采用呼吸生理和血液生理的方法,探讨了性成熟青海湖裸鲤(Gymnocypris przewalskii)对盐度、碳酸盐碱度的适应性以及青海湖裸鲤在盐碱胁迫下的渗透调节和离子调节规律。将裸鲤从淡水突变到盐水(盐度14.01±0.01)、碱水(碳酸盐碱度33.03±0.01mmol·L-1)和青海湖水(盐度12.12±0.02、碳酸盐碱度29.07±0.09mmol·L-1)中,测定了在不同水质胁迫下裸鲤耗氧率、血浆渗透压和离子浓度的变化。结果表明:与淡水对照组比较,呼吸耗氧率除了盐度组在3h有显著性升高(P<0.05),其他实验组96h内均未出现显著性变化(P>0.05);裸鲤的窒息点为0.14~0.17mg·L-1,各实验组窒息点均没有显著性差异(P>0.05);碱度组血浆的渗透浓度和Na+、Cl-、Ca2+离子浓度在96h内未出现变化(P>0.05),盐度组和青海湖水组在所测时间段有显著的升高(P<0.05),并且随着胁迫时间的延长,在72h达到峰值。各实验组血浆K+浓度变化没有血浆Na+、Cl-明显,K+浓度有增高的趋势,且都在72h达到了峰值。青海湖裸鲤具有较强的盐碱耐受性,能通过渗透调节和离子调控适应高盐碱环境,而消耗能量较少。  相似文献

Enzymatic reactions in non-aqueous media have been shown to be effective in carrying out chemical transformation where the reactants are insoluble in water or water is a byproduct limiting conversion. Ionic liquids, liquid organic salts with infinitesimal vapor pressure, are potentially useful alternatives to organic solvents. It is known that the thermodynamic water activity is an important variable affecting the activity of enzymes in non-aqueous solvents. This study investigated the influence of water activity on the esterification of geraniol with acetic acid in ionic liquid [bmim]PF6 catalyzed by immobilized Candida antarctica lipase B. The conversion of geraniol in [bmim]PF6 was significant although the reaction rate was slower than in organic solvents. The profile of initial reaction rate-water activity was determined experimentally, and differed from the data reported for other non-aqueous solvents. A maximum in the initial reaction rate was found at aw = 0.6. The pseudo reaction equilibrium constant, Kx, was measured experimentally for the reaction. The average value of Kx in [bmim]PF6 was 12, 20-fold lower than the value reported for the same system in hexane.  相似文献

A series of sampling sites in 6 caves was established in order to assess the importance of the epikarst as a habitat of high diversity of meiofauna. Special attention was given to the stygobiotic species of copepods (Crustacea), which was the most abundant group of animals in water percolating from the epikarst. In total, 37 species of Copepoda were identified from nearly 4000 individuals. To understand epikarst as a habitat, 14 structural and physico-chemical factors were analysed and compared for two types of habitats, i.e., trickles and pools filled with percolation water. Results of canonical correspondence analysis indicated that the significant factors influencing faunal composition in trickles were the thickness of the cave ceiling and the concentrations of sodium, nitrate, and potassium ions, while in pools correlations between individual species and pH, temperature, volume, conductivity and thickness of the cave ceiling were statistically significant. Aquatic copepod assemblages in epikarst encompass species of different taxonomic affinities, living in severe environmental conditions. The pattern of the system reflects both high taxonomic diversity and environmental severity.  相似文献
