This study aimed to determine the phytochemical components, microbial inhibitory effectiveness and antioxidant properties of Aerva lanata plant extracts. The whole plant showed various medicinal applications in folklore and traditional medicine in various parts of the world. The organic extracts such as ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, acetone, water and methanol were subjected for various phytochemical analysis and confirmed for the existence of flavonoids, glycosides, terpenoids and alkaloid containing components. Alternatively, the extracts were performed for the antibacterial activities against the microbial pathogens and antioxidant properties. Results indicated that, the solvent extracts showed prominent activity against the tested strains. The MIC concentrations of plant were detected from 5 mg/ml to 40 mg/ml. The plant extract was highly effective against E. coli and E. aerogenes and the MIC was 5 mg/ml. In addition, the extracts noted promising antioxidant activities. The antioxidant activities were dose dependent manner. In conclusion, A. lanata extracts showed that significant major phytochemicals and effective antioxidant and anti-microbial properties. 相似文献

Although multiple subtypes of sodium channels are expressed in most neurons, the specific contributions of the individual
sodium channels remain to be studied. The role of zebrafish Nav1.6 sodium channels in the embryonic locomotor movements has been investigated by the antisense morpholino (MO) knockdown.
MO1 and MO2 are targeted at the regions surrounding the translation start site of zebrafish Nav1.6 mRNA. MO3 is targeted at the RNA splicing donor site of exon 2. The correctly spliced Nav1.6 mRNA of MO3 morphants is 6% relative to that of the wild-type embryos. Nav1.6-targeted MO1, MO2 and MO3 attenuate the spontaneous contraction, tactile sensitivity, and swimming in comparison with
a scrambled morpholino and mutated MO3 morpholino. No significant defect is observed in the development of slow muscles, the
axonal projection of primary motoneurons, and neuromuscular junctions. The movement impairments caused by MO1, MO2, and MO3
suggest that the function of Nav1.6 sodium channels is essential on the normal early embryonic locomotor activities. 相似文献

Returning straw to the field is an effective method for optimizing the soil phosphorus (P) availability, in which bacteria play an important role. However, the effects of various straw incorporation strategies on P transformation between different soil P pools remain unclear. In this study, variations in soil P fractions, phosphatase activities and the abundance of phosphatase genes (phoD, phoX and phoC) as well as a P-solubilizing gene (pqqC) at DNA (total) and cDNA (transcribed) levels were analysed in three straw incorporation treatments, including chopped straw (StrawD), straw compost (Compost) and straw-derived biochar (Biochar), and control (no straw, CK). Compared with the CK, the moderately labile inorganic P (NaOH I-Pi) content significantly decreased and the non-available P (Residual P) content significantly increased in the StrawD treatment. At the same time, phosphodiesterase (PD) activity and the transcribed phoC and phoX genes as well as total pqqC gene abundance significantly increased in the StrawD treatment, suggesting that the input of chopped straw stimulated P transformations from both organic and inorganic P pools. In addition, the stable Pi (NaOH II-Pi) content and total pqqC gene abundance in the Biochar treatment were significantly higher than that in the CK, indicating that the input of biochar increased the NaOH II-Pi that could release available P by Pi-solubilizing bacteria. In comparison to the CK, the Compost input significantly decreased one labile Pi (resin-Pi) only. However, its P fractions were significantly different from that of CK, Biochar and StrawD treatments, suggesting that the effects of compost input on P should not be ignored. In conclusion, chopped straw input increased soil P transformation but not available P, biochar input may promote inorganic P transformation, and compost input has a latent effect on P transformation. In our previous work, two dopamine derivatives with benzothiazole fragment were isolated and identified from Polyrhachis dives (P. dives). Based on their characteristic structure, we used them as lead compound to carry out structural optimization and subsequent fungicidal evaluation. Here 20 dopamine derivatives with benzothiazole fragment were designed and synthesized by a facile method, and their structures were characterized by 1H-NMR, 13CNMR and HMRS. In bioassays, most of the title compounds possess potential fungicidal activities against Altenaia alternala (A. alternala) and Botrytis cinerea (B. cinerea). Especially, (E)-N-(2-(benzo[d]thiazol-6-yl)ethyl)-3-(p-tolyl)acrylamide and (E)-N-(2-(benzo[d]thiazol-6-yl)ethyl)-3-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)acrylamide displayed 29.3 mg/L and 10.7 mg/L EC50 value against A. alternala, respectively, which possessed equivalent fungicidal activities level to hymexazol. 相似文献

Four trinorsesquiterpenoids (1–4) were isolated from the roots of Inula racemosa and the structures of two new compounds, (4R,5S,10S)-5-hydroxy-11,12,13-trinoreudesm-6-en-8-one (1) and (4R,5R,10R)-4,15-epoxy-11,12,13-trinoreudesman-8-one (3), were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis. 桑黄是一类应用广泛的药用真菌,桑黄多酚具有抗氧化、抗炎和降糖作用。本研究中的杨树桑黄属于桑黄中重要且能栽培的一种。本研究采用深共熔溶剂(deep eutectic solvent,DES)从栽培杨树桑黄子实体中提取多酚类化合物,考察了不同提取条件对提取率的影响。采用氯化胆碱与尿素组成的DES体系对多酚进行提取,并进一步采用响应面法对提取条件进行优化,获得最佳提取工艺参数为21 min、80 ℃、料液比1:260 g/mL。在此条件下,多酚的提取率高达(23.17±0.88) mg/g,远高于传统方法(12.45±1.88) mg/g。最优条件提取的多酚显示了很强的DPPH和ABTS的清除能力。由此可见,采用DES法从杨树桑黄子实体中提取酚类化合物比传统方法更有效。 相似文献

Photoinhibition of photosynthesis was investigated in control (C) and chilling night (CN) leaves of grapevine under natural
photoperiod at different sampling time in a day. The degree of photoinhibition was determined by means of the ratio of variable
to maximum chlorophyll fluorescence (Fv/Fm) and photosynthetic electron transport measurements. When the potential efficiency of photosystem (PS) 2, Fv/Fm was measured at midday, it markedly declined with significant increase of F0 in CN leaves. In isolated thylakoids, the rate of whole chain and PS2 activity were markedly decreased in CN leaves than
control leaves at midday. A smaller inhibition of PS1 activity was also observed in both leaf types. Later, the leaves reached
maximum PS2 efficiencies similar to those observed in the morning during sampling at evening. The artificial exogenous electron
donors diphenyl carbazide, NH2OH, and Mn2+ failed to restore the PS2 activity in both leaf types at midday. Thus CN enhanced inactivation on the acceptor side of PS2
in grapevine leaves. Quantification of the PS2 reaction centre protein D1 following midday exposure of leaves showed pronounced
differences between C and CN leaves. The marked loss of PS2 activity in CN leaves noticed in midday samples was mainly due

The objective of the present study was to characterize the metabolism of Clostridium thermolacticum, a thermophilic anaerobic bacterium, growing continuously on lactose (10 g l−1) and to determine the enzymes involved in the pathways leading to the formation of the fermentation products. Biomass and metabolites concentration were measured at steady-state for different dilution rates, from 0.013 to 0.19 h−1. Acetate, ethanol, hydrogen and carbon dioxide were produced at all dilution rates, whereas lactate was detected only for dilution rates below 0.06 h−1. The presence of several key enzymes involved in lactose metabolism, including beta-galactosidase, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, pyruvate:ferredoxin oxidoreductase, acetate kinase, ethanol dehydrogenase and lactate dehydrogenase, was demonstrated. Finally, the intracellular level of NADH, NAD+, ATP and ADP was also measured for different dilution rates. The production of ethanol and lactate appeared to be linked with the re-oxidation of NADH produced during glycolysis, whereas hydrogen produced should come from reduced ferredoxin generated during pyruvate decarboxylation. To produce more hydrogen or more acetate from lactose, it thus appears that an efficient H2 removal system should be used, based on a physical (membrane) or a biological approach, respectively, by cultivating C. thermolacticum with efficient H2 scavenging and acetate producing microorganisms. 相似文献
