For the acellular pertussis vaccine with a high immunogenicity, the concentration, composition and characteristics of acellular
pertussis antigens are the crucial points to be considered. Nevertheless, it has not been proved yet whether or not the polymerization
degree, one of the characteristics of formalin-detoxified acellular pertussis antigens, has an influence on vaccine potency.
Thus, in the present study, the correlations among detoxification conditions of acellular pertussis bulks, their polymerization
degrees and their immunogenicities were examined. In addition, the relative importance of pertussis toxoid in vaccine immunogenicity
was also investigated. Results show that a lower lysine concentration during detoxification induces highly-polymerized antigens,
the immunogenicity has a great dependency on the polymerization degree of antigens, and also pertussis toxoid has a relatively
stronger influence on the immunogenicity than other antigens. Accordingly, in the aspect of the potency of detoxified acellular
pertussis vaccine, it can be demonstrated that the polymerization of antigens and its degree are the major factors affecting
the immunogenicity along with a relatively high content of pertussis toxoid. 相似文献

We studied the influence of parental age on the degree of polyteny of giant chromosomes and expressivity of mutation eyeless in Drosophila melanogaster descendants. The parental age equal to six days exerted an adverse effect on the function of endoreduplication of giant chromosomes in straineyeless. The highest degree of polyteny was observed in descendants of four- and ten-day imago. The maximum reduction of eye facets was observed in descendants of four-day imago, while in the progeny of older parents, the mutation expressivity was sharply reduced. Relations between the changes in chromosome polyteny, expressivity of mutation eyeless, and earlier studied components of adaptation were statistically analyzed in descendants of aging parents of this Drosophila strain. 相似文献

对6种水稻害虫Chilo polychrysa (Meyrick)、C. suppressalis (Walker), C. partellus (Swinhoe), Scirpophaga incertulas (Walker), S. innotata (Walker)和Sesamia inferens的卵、幼虫和蛹在10到40°C的七个固定温度下(10,15,20,25 30,35和40°C)的发育和存活进行了研究。在一定的温度下6种害虫的卵、幼虫和蛹的发育周期是明显不同的(P<0.0001)。卵、幼虫和蛹的日发育的平均百分比随着温度的增加而增加。总发育周期与温度的增加成反比。临界温度下限是在10-15°C中间,而上限在35-40°C中间,此时害虫并不发育。对于上述6种害虫的卵、幼虫和蛹的平均发育起点温度分别为8.57±1.71,7.70±1.01,8.56±3.25,10.19±2.19,8.64±2.68和7.91±0.82°C。6种水稻害虫的卵、幼虫和蛹的总温度常数分别是705.56,725.32,703.30,556.59,655.34和837.95日·度。经计算,6种雌蛾的产卵所需的积温分别为99.06,90.85,99.29,75.16,92.25和80.41日·度。完成一世代所需的积温分别是804.62,816.17,802.59,631.75,648.84 and 918.36日·度。 相似文献

The degree of deacetylation (DD) is one of the most important properties of chitosan. Therefore, a simple, rapid and reliable method for the determination of DD of chitosan is essential. In this report, two new potentiometric titration functions are derived for the determination of DD of chitosan. The effects of the precipitation and the errors induced in pH measurement are discussed in detail. To make this method more simple and reliable, two universal pH regions for the accurate plotting of different DD chitosan samples are proposed for the new potentiometric titration functions. The DD values of three chitosan samples obtained with this new method show good agreement with those yielded from elemental analysis and 1H-NMR. 相似文献
