在鄂尔多斯高原软梁、硬梁弃耕农田上选取一系列不同时限的弃耕农田,研究弃耕演替过程中地表凋落物、生物结皮,以及不同土层土壤容重、机械组成、含水量的动态变化.结果表明: 软梁弃耕农田表层(0~10 cm)物理环境随弃耕年限增加明显改善,土壤黏粒含量、地表凋落物随弃耕年限增加明显增加,土壤容重明显降低,土壤含水率略微升高;中层(10~30 cm)土壤物理环境随弃耕年限增加稍显恶化,土壤黏粒含量升高,土壤含水量略微降低;深层(30~50 cm)土壤物理性质变异较大.硬梁弃耕农田土壤表面凋落物盖度、生物结皮盖度、生物结皮厚度随弃耕年限增加而增加,表层(0~10 cm)土壤容重、黏粒含量、含水量随弃耕年限变化总体变化不显著,深层(10~40 cm)土壤物理性质变异较大.地表凋落物和土壤黏粒物质的累积导致软梁弃耕农田土壤水分浅层化,可能是20年内浅根性多年生草本植物群落取代半灌木油蒿群落的关键因素.硬梁弃耕农田在演替过程中未见油蒿入侵,可能与较高的浅层含水量和生物结皮发育有关.  相似文献

Understanding uncertainties in land cover projections is critical to investigating land‐based climate mitigation policies, assessing the potential of climate adaptation strategies and quantifying the impacts of land cover change on the climate system. Here, we identify and quantify uncertainties in global and European land cover projections over a diverse range of model types and scenarios, extending the analysis beyond the agro‐economic models included in previous comparisons. The results from 75 simulations over 18 models are analysed and show a large range in land cover area projections, with the highest variability occurring in future cropland areas. We demonstrate systematic differences in land cover areas associated with the characteristics of the modelling approach, which is at least as great as the differences attributed to the scenario variations. The results lead us to conclude that a higher degree of uncertainty exists in land use projections than currently included in climate or earth system projections. To account for land use uncertainty, it is recommended to use a diverse set of models and approaches when assessing the potential impacts of land cover change on future climate. Additionally, further work is needed to better understand the assumptions driving land use model results and reveal the causes of uncertainty in more depth, to help reduce model uncertainty and improve the projections of land cover.  相似文献

Declines in bird populations in agricultural regions of North America and Europe have been attributed to agricultural industrialization, increases in use of agrochemical application, and increased predation related to habitat modification. Based on count data compiled from Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) from 1974 to 2012, Christmas Bird Count (CBC) collected from 1914 to 2013, and hunter data from Annual Game Take Survey (AGTS) for years 1948–2010, ring‐necked pheasants (Phasianus colchicus) in California have experienced substantial declines in agricultural environments. Using a modeling approach that integrates all three forms of survey data into a joint response abundance index, we found pheasant abundance was related to the amount of harvested and unharvested crop land, types of crops produced, amount of total pesticide applied, minimum temperature, precipitation, and numbers of avian competitors and predators. Specifically, major changes in agricultural practices over the last three decades were associated with declines in pheasant numbers and likely reflected widespread loss of habitat. For example, increases in cropland were associated with increased pheasant abundance during early years of study but this effect decreased through time, such that no association in recent years was evidenced. A post hoc analysis revealed that crops beneficial to pheasant abundance (e.g., barley) have declined substantially in recent decades and were replaced by less advantageous crops (e.g., nut trees). An additional analysis using a restricted data set (1990–2013) indicated recent negative impacts on pheasant numbers associated with land use practices were also associated with relatively high levels of pesticide application. Our results may provide valuable information for management policies aimed at reducing widespread declines in pheasant populations in California and may be applicable to other avian species within agricultural settings. Furthermore, this general analytical approach is not limited to pheasants and could be applied to other taxa for which multiple survey data sources exist.  相似文献

We compare estimates of total cropland area, paddy rice area, and irrigated cropland area in China from land cover maps derived from optical remote sensing in 1992–93 (1-km resolution NOAA AVHRR) and county-level agricultural census data for 1990. At national, regional, provincial, and county scales, the total cropland area estimated by remote sensing is 50–100% higher than reported in the agricultural census. For topographically flat North and Central China, there is a high correlation between county-level cropland area estimates by the two approaches. For other regions, the correlation between remote sensing and agricultural census cropland area is much weaker. Throughout China, there is only moderate to weak correlation between remote sensing-based and census-bases estimates of paddy rice area and total irrigated cropland area. It is likely that the census data underestimates and the remote sensing overestimates the actual cropland area. These uncertainties in agricultural land cover estimates will contribute to uncertainty in any large-scale biogeochemical analyses.  相似文献

退耕还林林地土壤物理性质的变化,是评价退耕还林措施及其生态效益的重要内容之一。选取晋西黄土区退耕22年后形成的3种典型乔木林分,包括自然恢复的辽东栎林、油松刺槐人工混交林和刺槐人工纯林,并以耕地作为对照,通过外业调查和采样分析,从深度和程度两方面研究了退耕还林对土壤容重、土壤总孔隙度和毛管孔隙度等物理性质的影响,结果表明:(1)就土壤容重而言,自然恢复林80 cm以上土层较耕地有显著变化(P0.05),平均降低了28.78%,变化程度最大的在10—20 cm土层;人工林较耕地显著变化发生在60 cm以上土层,混交林和纯林分别降低了10.58%和8.34%,变化程度最大的土层为20—40 cm;(2)3种退耕林地土壤总孔隙度在80 cm以上较耕地发生显著增加(P0.05),增加程度表现为自然恢复林(35.53%)混交林(15.04%)纯林(13.68%),20—40 cm土层变化程度最大;(3)土壤毛管孔隙度自然恢复林、混交林和纯林分别达到耕地的1.36,1.13和1.12倍,自然恢复林和人工林显著变化土层分别为80 cm和60 cm以上,变化程度最大的均为40—60 cm处;(4)土壤有机质和粘粒含量对土壤理化性质影响显著。对于土壤容重、总孔隙度和毛管孔隙度的变化,有机质的增加可解释31%以上,而粘粒含量的解释度则达到44%—51%,均为极显著水平(P0.01)。自然恢复林对于土壤物理性质影响程度和影响土层深度都大于人工林。  相似文献

用手拣法采集大型土壤动物,应用个体数、类群数、多样性指数等指标分析了内蒙古武川县农田退耕还草管理下大型土壤动物群落的变化.共捕获大型土壤动物49类1479只,隶属于3纲、7目、41科;农田退耕后大型土壤动物的类群数、个体数和生物量均有增加趋势;Margalef丰富度指数(DMa)和密度-类群指数(DG)显示,农田退耕还草后大型土壤动物群落多样性明显增加,但由于退耕时间短,Shannon-Wiener多样性指数(H′)和Pielou均匀度指数(E)并不比农田高;不同动物类群对退耕还草的响应不同.退耕后采用紫花苜蓿或紫花苜蓿+蒿属植物的人工种植管理方式较为合适.  相似文献

Large amounts of former cropland are being abandoned in developedregions. To formulate guidelines for land reclamation programmes, we exploredthe effects of artificial shading, irrigation, and removal of weed competitionon the performance of Retama sphaerocarpa (L.) Boiss.seedlings in a factorial experiment located in an abandoned cropland in CentralSpain. R. sphaerocarpa is of interest for revegetationbecause it is a drought tolerant leguminous shrub that is a major structuralcomponent of the native plant community. Seedling performance was evaluated inthree ways: seedling survivorship, growth, and photochemical efficiency. Wealsomeasured soil moisture and weed biomass production and found that bothincreasedunder artificial shading conditions. Soil moisture increased very slightlywhereweeds were removed. Thus, increased transpiration from weeds outweighed reducedevaporation from soils due to shading by weeds. Artificial shading was the mosteffective treatment for seedling survivorship, followed by removal ofcompetition by weeds. After summer, 34 % of the seedlings survived in the mostfavourable conditions (artificially shaded plots where weeds were removed),compared to ca. 1 % in full-light plots with no removal of weed competition. Apositive effect of irrigation was found for growth of seedling cover and heightin shaded plots. The analysis of photochemical efficiency pointed out therelevance of weed competition removal, and confirmed the usefulness of fastfluorescence transient techniques for the quantification of seedlingperformance. The data suggest that competition between seedlings and weeds wasprimarily for water rather than for light. We conclude that i) artificialshading improved seedling performance, but this is a little practical techniquebecause of its cost; ii) as weeds compete with, rather than facilitate, plantedseedlings, weed clipping around the seedlings is a feasible technique thatwouldimprove seedling survival; and iii) seedling performance could alsoconsiderablyimprove with a higher irrigation than was used in this experiment(75lm–2 per growth period), provided that weedsare removed.  相似文献

间套作是指在同一块土地上同时种植两种或两种以上的作物,能够充分利用有限资源,提升单位面积物质产出,同时还具有多重其他生态效益,是一种基于生物多样性的可持续农业发展范式.生态系统服务是评价生态系统功能的重要突破口,也是当前生态学领域研究的热点问题.从生态系统服务的角度论述间套作种植提升农田生态系统服务功能,并从物质产出、土壤肥力维持、生物多样性保护、水土保持、病虫草害和有害污染物控制等方面论述了间套作种植提升农田生态系统功能的实践及机制.在此基础上,构建了间套作农田生态系统服务功能评价的理论框架和指标体系,并提出了间套作种植农田生态系统未来应加强的研究方向.  相似文献

农牧交错带是典型的生态脆弱区、贫困区和多民族聚居区,是我国生态安全的重要屏障.综述了农牧交错带发展的历史演变过程,分析了当前农牧交错带农牧业生产所面临的主要问题,建议今后对农牧交错带的研究应集中在以生态学为基础的跨学科研究;其热点领域应集中在农牧交错带生产力生态学、恢复生态学、界面生态学、放牧生态学,农牧交错带的健康诊断和价值评估等方面.其中生产力生态学是提高生产效率的保证,应加强农牧交错带农田草地系统耦合生产方式的研究;恢复生态学是治理退化农牧交错带的基础;界面生态学是剖析退化农牧交错带的切入点;放牧生态学是调控农牧交错带农田草地退化的手段;健康诊断有助于对农牧交错带进行客观的评价;价值评估则是对农牧交错带生态系统效益和服务的估算.  相似文献

土壤潜性酸是植物生长的潜在限制因子,是土壤酸性调控的重要依据.按比例抽取并测定福建省耕地表层土壤代表性样点的潜性酸量和pH值,拟合潜性酸(PA)与活性酸(pH)的最优关系模型,利用全省1982年36777个、2008年236445个和2016年21269个耕地表层土壤调查样点pH等属性数据,建立3期1∶5万耕地土壤潜性酸量数据库,借助GIS技术和灰色关联分析模型探讨福建省耕地土壤潜性酸动态变化规律及其驱动因素.结果表明: 1982—2016年,全省耕地土壤潜性酸量整体呈上升趋势,2008和2016年潜性酸量分别比1982年上升1.30和1.49 cmol·kg-1,1982—2008年的潜性酸上升速率比2008—2016年高0.03 cmol·kg-1·a-1.1982—2016年,全省耕地土壤潜性酸变化量空间差异明显,龙岩市耕地土壤潜性酸变化量最大,比最小的三明市高4倍以上;不同利用类型耕地土壤潜性酸变化量大小依次为水田>水浇地>旱地;咸酸水稻土、潜育水稻土和淹育水稻土亚类的潜性酸变化量最大,是全省潜性酸变化量均值的1倍以上;赤红壤和盐渍水稻土亚类变化量最小,分别为全省均值的25.7%和28.4%.福建省耕地土壤潜性酸动态变化的主要驱动因素包括氮、磷肥施用量、阳离子交换量(CEC)、黏粒含量、pH和粉粒含量,灰色关联系数绝对值>0.92.科学优化施肥结构、合理施用碱性调理剂改酸是减缓福建省耕地土壤潜性酸增加的重要途径.  相似文献
