ＣＩＴＥＳ（濒危野生动植物国际贸易公约）是一个通过控制贸易的方法来维护物种生存及其持续利用的国际法规,其附录中所列的物种是重点管理的对象,主要根据现有的Ｂｅｒｎｅ标准来确定。但是,长期的实践证明,它已不能满足实际的需要。１９９２年６月ＣＩＴＥＳ常务委员会要求世界保护联盟协助制定一个简明、实用、科学和客观的新标准,本文对此作一简介和讨论。

新疆裸蝗属二新种(直翅目:斑腿蝗科)(英语)

本文记述采自新疆南部的裸蝗属Conophyma Zub.二新种.新种“友谊裸蝗”Conophyma amica近似于昭苏裸蝗C.zhaosuensis Huang,以下列特征区别于后者:1)雄性肛上板两后角明显突出,后缘中央锐角形突出;2)后足胫节红褐色.新种“红胫裸蝗”C.rufitibia与C.alajense Misth.相似,其区别为:1)新种雄性尾片显著较大;2)雄性尾须较长,明显长过肛上板后缘中央的突起,3)雌性下产卵瓣下外缘缺一明显的大齿.红胫裸蝗亦近似于C.alamasyi(Kuthy),但可以下述特征区别之:1)雄性肛上板近方形,侧缘中部具一钝瘤状突起;2)雄性腹部背面具二条淡色纵带.模式标本均保存在新疆八一农学院植保系.     

西藏南部恙螨三新种（蜱螨亚纲：前气门目）

本文记述采自西藏南部小型哺乳动物体上的恙螨三新种,分别隶属恙螨科(Trombiculidae Ewing,1994）的捧六恙螨属(Schoengastiella Hirst,1915）毫前恙螨属（Walchiella Fuller,1852）和新恙螨属（Neotrombicula Hirst,1925）,模式标本保存于军事医学科学院微生物流行病研究所医学昆虫标本馆。

A comparative study of the glomerular peripolar cell and the renin-secreting cell in twelve mammalian species

The peripolar cell is a glomerular epithelial cell situated within Bowman's capsule at its vascular pole. It is believed to be a secretory cell which forms part of the juxtaglomerular apparatus. Scanning electron microscopy was used to perform a comparative study of the morphology and number of peripolar cells in twelve mammalian species. The number of renin-secreting cells in kidney sections stained by renin antibodies and immunocytochemistry was counted. There was a marked inter-species variation in the number, size and appearance of peripolar cells. They were largest and most abundant in sheep and goat and fewest in dog, cow and human. There was no correlation between the numbers of peripolar cells and renin-secreting cells. This does not support the view that the peripolar cell is part of the juxtaglomerular apparatus.     

Tropodiaptomus zambeziensis,T. bhangazii and T. capriviensis,three new species of Tropodiaptomus (Copepods,Calanoida) from southern Africa

Three new species of Tropodiaptomus from southern Africa are described, Tropodiaptomus zambeziensis, T. bhangazii, and T. capriviensis. Type localities are a rice paddy on the Zambezi river delta, a coastal lake in Zululand, and temporary pools in Bushmanland and the eastern Caprivi in Namibia. Speciation of Tropodiaptomus in the warm inland waters of southern Africa is much more extensive than was formerly realised.
