为了探讨补肾益气活血方对胎儿宫内生长迟缓(IUGR)胎盘组织一氧化氮(NO)生成的影响,本文对正常孕妇、IUGR患者及补肾益气活血中药治疗后患者各12例,采用NADPH黄递酶法研究了一氧化氮合酶(NOS)在胎盘组织的分布,应用化学发光法测定胎盘组织NOS活性。结果表明:正常孕妇胎盘绒毛合体滋养层细胞NOS呈强阳性反应,绒毛干血管壁呈阳性反应,终末绒毛毛细血管壁呈阴性反应;IUGR患者绒毛合体滋养层细胞和绒毛干血管壁NOS染色明显变浅,而终末绒毛毛细血管壁呈阳性反应;中药治疗后合体滋养层细胞和绒毛干血管壁NOS染色明显加深。NOS活性测定中药组较IUGR未治疗组显著增高,与正常孕妇相比其差异无显著性。结果提示:NO参与IUGR的病理生理过程,补肾益气活血方通过增强NOS活性促进胎盘组织NO的产生  相似文献

The 34% increase in relative ventricular mass (Mrv) resulting from chronic anaemia (induced by an intraperitoneal injection of phenylhydrazine hydrochloride) was accompanied by a 117% increase in coronary vascular volume of diploid rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss. Coronary vascular volume of normocythemic triploid fish was similar to that of normocythemic diploid fish despite a larger Mrv. These observations, in combination with previous studies, suggest that the vascularity of compact myocardium in O. mykiss can vary independently of Mrv.  相似文献

Background: Long-term climate trends in mountain systems often vary strongly with elevation.

Aims: To evaluate elevation dependence in long-term precipitation trends in subalpine forest and alpine tundra zones of a mid-continental, mid-latitude North American mountain system and to relate such dependence to atmospheric circulation patterns.

Methods: We contrasted 59-year (1952–2010) precipitation records of two high-elevation climate stations on Niwot Ridge, Colorado Front Range, Rocky Mountains, USA. The sites, one in forest (3022 m a.s.l.) and the other in alpine tundra (3739 m), are closely located (within 7 km horizontally, ca. 700 m vertically), but differ with respect to proximity to the mountain-system crest (the Continental Divide).

Results: The sites exhibited significant differences in annual and seasonal precipitation trends, which depended strongly on their elevation and distance from the Continental Divide. Annual precipitation increased by 60 mm (+6%) per decade at the alpine site, with no significant change at the subalpine site. Seasonally, trends at the alpine site were dominated by increases in winter, which we suggest resulted from an increase in orographically generated precipitation over the Divide, driven by upper-air (700 hPa) north-westerly flow. Such a change was not evident at the subalpine site, which is less affected by orographic precipitation on north-westerly flow.

Conclusions: Elevation dependence in precipitation trends appears to have arisen from a change in upper-air flow from predominantly south-westerly to north-westerly. Dependence of precipitation trends on topographic position and season has complex implications for the ecology and hydrology of Niwot Ridge and adjacent watersheds, involving interactions among physical processes (e.g. snowpack dynamics) and biotic responses (e.g. in phenologies and ecosystem productivity).  相似文献

The objectives were to: 1) evaluate blood flow in the uterine (UA) and umbilical (Uma) arteries in the pregnant bitch, by measuring the resistive index (RI) and pulsatility index (PI); 2) to note the presence or absence of the early diastolic notch and diastolic flow in the UA and Uma flow waveforms, respectively; and 3) perform conceptus ecobiometry for fetal growth assessment during pregnancy. Six healthy bitches were examined on approximately Days -44, -42, -36, -31, -28, -25, -21, -18, -14, -8, -4, and -2 of pregnancy (whelping = Day 0). Triplex Doppler and B-mode ultrasonography were used to assess blood flow and conceptus ecobiometry. All pregnancies ended with a normal whelping and birth of live puppies. Prior to whelping, all conceptus dimensions increased significantly, whereas RI and PI of both the Uma and UA decreased significantly. For the UA, RI and PI were (mean ± SEM) 0.95 ± 0.02 and 2.75 ± 0.41, respectively, on Day -44, and were 0.60 ± 0.01 and 0.99 ± 0.03 on Day -4. For the Uma, RI and PI were 0.99 ± 0.01 and 2.42 ± 0.03 on Day -31, and were 0.62 ± 0.01 and 1.15 ± 0.02 on Day -4. The complete disappearance of the early diastolic notch in the UA, and the appearance of diastolic flow in the Uma occurred on Days -16 ± 5 and -21 ± 1. The authors concluded that UA and Uma perfusion were important end points to assess fetal vitality in bitches. Furthermore, the current reference values provided a baseline for monitoring normal and abnormal pregnancies in bitches.  相似文献

采用野外放置凋落物分解袋法,对秦岭南坡林区不同海拔华山松(Pinus armandii)、油松(P.tabulaeformis)、锐齿栎(Quercus aliena var.acuteserrata)和华北落叶松(Larix principis-rupprechtii)凋落叶分解过程中N、P、C、粗脂肪、粗纤维和热值的变化规律进行比较研究.结果表明:(1)处于不同海拔的同一树种新鲜凋落叶的N、P、C、粗脂肪含量及其热值差异不显著(P>0.05).(2)在一年的分解过程中,凋落叶N、P含量表现出逐渐富集的趋势,其中油松凋落叶N、P富集速度最快,分别达到165.60%和189.94%;凋落叶C、粗脂肪含量和热值、C/N、C/P、粗纤维/N在分解中逐渐下降,粗脂肪释放速率达到50.29%~77.82%.(3)分解一年后,不同海拔同一树种凋落叶N、P、C、C/N、C/P含量仍未表现出显著性差异(P>0.05),但不同海拔凋落叶粗脂肪分解表现出极显著差异(P<0.01),其中差距最大的锐齿栎凋落叶低海拔较高海拔粗脂肪释放率高19.38%;不同海拔华北落叶松和锐齿栎凋落叶粗纤维释放速率差异极显著(P<0.01),而不同海拔油松、华山松凋落叶粗纤维释放无显著差异;处于高低海拔的华北落叶松和锐齿栎凋落叶热值分别为17.12和15.68 kJ·g-1、17.74和13.51 kJ·g-1,表现出极显著差异(P<0.01),油松、华山松凋落叶表现出显著差异(P<0.05).研究发现,一年中海拔差异所造成的降水、温度等因素的变化对各树种凋落叶中N、P、C的释放无显著影响,但对凋落叶分解过程中粗脂肪、热值、粗纤维/N的变化影响显著.  相似文献

In acute experiments on normotensive rats and those with genetically determined hypertension (urethane anesthesia), we studied hemodynamic effects resulting from modulation of the activities of neuronal NO synthase (NOS-1), arginase II, and superoxide dismutase, and also of the mitochondrial permeability in medullary cardiovascular neurons. Unilateral microinjections of either a nitric oxide (NO) donor, sodium nitroprusside, or a substrate for endogenous NO synthesis, L-arginine, into the medullary cardiovascular nuclei (nucl. tractus solitarius, NTS, nucl. ambiguous, AMB, paramedian nucleus, PMn, and lateral reticular nucleus LRN) were shown to induce hemodynamic responses with rather similar dynamics in both normotensive and spontaneously hypertensive rats, although in the latter the reactions were more intense. Injections of an antagonist of NOS-1, NG nitro-L-arginine (L-NNA), into the medullary nuclei under study in spontaneously hypertensive rats resulted in shifts of the systemic arterial pressure (SAP), which did not differ dramatically from those observed in normotensive animals. The data obtained serve as the background for the suggestion that the functional activity of NOS-1 is not fundamentally impaired under hypertension conditions, but, probably, the amount of the substrate for adequate synthesis of NO via the NO-synthase pathway of metabolism of L-arginine is insufficient. Considering this, we examined the functional activity of arginase, an enzyme that also, similarly to NOS, uses L-arginine for metabolic transformation. Injections of antagonists of arginase, norvaline or α-difluoromethylornithine hydrochloride (DFMO), into populations of the medullary neurons under study induced similar shifts of the SAP in normotensive and spontaneously hypertensive rats, and those responses did not differ significantly from the effects of inhibition of the NOS-1 activity. Thus, both the above-mentioned enzymes are potentially active in normotensive and spontaneously hypertensive rats; so, a possibility for their competition for L-arginine in certain situations does exist. Modulation of the mitochondrial permeability in medullary cardiovascular neurons in normotensive and spontaneously hypertensive rats induced significant hemodynamic effects. In particular, an increase in the mitochondrial permeability in the medullary cardiovascular nuclei by injections of an inductor of mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) opening, phenylarsine oxide (PAO), was accompanied by SAP drops in both normotensive and spontaneously hypertensive rats; the effects were dose-dependent and, in some cases, irreversible. A decrease in the mitochondrial permeability in the neurons under study by injections of an inhibitor of mPTP, melatonin, induced mostly hypertensive responses, although in some experiments we observed hypotensive and two-phase responses. Horizontal transport induced by upwelling in a canyon-shaped reservoir   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Several processes associated with spatial variations in buoyancy flux and mixing set up local and lake-wide horizontal temperature gradients, that in turn drive slow gravitational currents. These motions can dominate the horizontal transport and re-distribution of biological and chemical material. Here intrusions, indicative of horizontal transport, are identified in field data from a small drinking water reservoir, and the origin and character of the flows investigated using a 3-dimensional (3D) hydrodynamic model. It is shown that a horizontal temperature gradient is set up along the surface layer, due to upwelling shifting the metalimnion closer to the surface towards the upwind region, leading to a spatial variation in entrainment. The flows driven by these gradients form significant mass flux paths, enhancing exchange with the boundaries and controlling the fate of upwelled fluid. Further, the interaction of these currents with other hydrodynamic conditions is explored; namely the interaction with surface wind-driven currents, and the influence of different internal seiches generated by alternative lake bathymetries. The Arabidopsis Yellow Stripe 1-Like (YSL) proteins have been identified by homology with the maize (Zea mays) Yellow Stripe 1 (YS1) transporter which is responsible for iron-phytosiderophore (PS) uptake by roots in response to iron shortage. Although dicotyledonous plants do not synthesize PS, they do synthesize the PS precursor nicotianamine, a strong metal chelator essential for maintenance of iron homeostasis and copper translocation. Furthermore, ZmYS1 and the rice (Oryza sativa) protein OsYSL2 have metal-nicotianamine transport activities in heterologous expression systems. In this work, we have characterized the function of AtYSL1 in planta. Two insertional loss-of-function ysl1 mutants of Arabidopsis were found to exhibit increased nicotianamine accumulation in shoots. More importantly, seeds of both ysl1 knockouts contained less iron and nicotianamine than wild-type seeds, even when produced by plants grown in the presence of an excess of iron. This phenotype could be reverted by expressing the wild-type AtYSL1 gene in ysl1 plants. ysl1 seeds germinated slowly, but this defect was rescued by an iron supply. AtYSL1 was expressed in the xylem parenchyma of leaves, where it was upregulated in response to iron excess, as well as in pollen and in young silique parts. This pattern is consistent with long-distance circulation of iron and nicotianamine and their delivery to the seed. Taken together, our work provides strong physiological evidence that iron and nicotianamine levels in seeds rely in part on AtYSL1 function.  相似文献

Changes in the frequency of cardiac pulsations have been monitored in the decapitated body of adult P. americana before and 5 h after the injections of [Arg(7)]-corazonin and CCAP, using newly invented touch-free, noninvasive optocardiographic methods. Relatively large dosages of these peptides (10(-6) M concentrations in the body) had no effect on the rate of the heartbeat beyond the Ringer control limits. It has been concluded, therefore, that Corazonin and CCAP, which are currently cited in the literature as "the most potent cardiostimulating peptides" in insects, have no effect on the physiological regulation of cardiac functions in the living body.  相似文献
