Genetic mapping provides a powerful tool for quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis at the molecular level. A simple sequence repeat (SSR) genetic map containing 590 markers and a BCI population from two cultivated tetraploid cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) cultivars, namely TM-1 and Hai 7124 (G. barbadense L.), were used to map and analyze QTL using the composite interval mapping (CIM) method. Thirty one QTLs, 10 for lobe length, 13 for lobe width, six for lobe angle, and two for leaf chlorophyll content, were detected on 15 chromosomes or linkage groups at logarithm of odds (LOD)≥2.0, of which 15 were found for leaf morphology at LOD≥3.0. The genetic effects of the QTL were estimated. These results are fundamental for marker-assisted selection (MAS) of these traits in tetraploid cotton breeding.  相似文献

用扫描电镜对原产中国的3种野生稻和2个栽培稻品种的叶片表面亚显微结构,尤其是气孔列数、气孔频度、气孔器乳突、大瘤状乳突、小栓细胞乳突等进行比较研究。结果显示,气孔频度的变化趋势是沿着疣粒野生稻-药用野生稻-栽培稻IR36-簿通野生稻-栽培稻珍汕97逐渐增大,其变化幅度在635-1737个/mm^2之间;气孔器乳突除疣粒野生稻为6个外,其余通常为4个;疣粒野生稻既无大瘤状乳突亦无木栓细胞乳突.药用野生稻无木栓细胞乳突。这些性状不仅具什种的特异性,而且与亲缘关系远近有关,可以作为稻属分类的依据。  相似文献

利用石蜡切片法结合光学显微镜观察了紫茎泽兰18个种群的茎叶形态结构。结果表明:各种群间茎和叶的形态结构均表现出一定的变化,其中茎的维管束束数、叶表皮的部分特征变化较明显。应用SPSS统计软件对叶表皮的特征分析后,发现种群间的气孔器密度、气孔器指数、气孔器长度、气孔器宽度、上下表皮细胞数目均随地理条件的变化而表现出明显差异。相关分析表明气孔器密度、气孔器指数与海拔高度呈正相关。但紫茎泽兰各种群间的叶表皮细胞形状无明显变化,均为无规则型,垂周壁式样均为浅波状深波状;气孔器类型均为无规则型。  相似文献

运用结构植物学方法,以多脉青冈(Cyclobalanopsis multinervis)和金叶含笑(Michelia foveolata)2年生苗为材料,进行全光照处理和遮荫处理下叶结构观察比较。结果显示,长期遮荫处理下,多脉青冈和金叶含笑新生叶的表皮细胞变薄,栅栏组织变得稀疏,层数有减少趋势,海绵组织更加疏松;多脉青冈的叶角质层退化。表明长期的弱光照下,2种树种的新生叶叶结构产生了适廊性的变化,其适应程度可以推测植物对光环境变化的适应能力强弱和进化潜力,研究结果对预测园林树种的光适应能力和结构进化有一定意义。  相似文献

Photosynthesis and water efflux were measured in different PAR and stomatal conductance in members of Avicenniaceae and Rhizophoraceae. Trend of leaf temperature with irradiance and its effect on photosynthesis were also estimated. In most of the studied species, photosynthesis and stomatal conductance followed similar trends with increase in irradiance. The rate of net photosynthesis and stomatal conductance were higher in members of Avicenniaceae than in Rhizophoraceae. In Avicenniaceae, the optimum PAR for maximum photosynthesis ranged between 1340–1685 (μmol m-2s-1, which was also higher than that of Rhizophoraceae (840-1557 μmol m-2s-1). Almost in all the studied taxa, transpiration and stomatal conductance followed similar trends and reached the maximal peaks at the same PAR value. The range of breakeven leaf temperature was almost the same in both the families (34-36°C in Avicenniaceae and 33.5-36.3°C in Rhizophoraceae), beyond which assimilation rate declined.  相似文献

We studied the species composition and life history patterns of shelter‐building microlepidoptera on the willow Salix miyabeana in Hokkaido, northern Japan. We identified 23 microlepidopteran species across seven families that constructed leaf shelters. Species in Tortricidae and Pyralidae comprised approximately 90% of the total number of sampled shelter‐building microlepidoptera that reached adult eclosion in the laboratory. Seasonal changes in the density of leaf shelters showed two peaks: early June and mid‐August. In June, caterpillars of Gypsonoma bifasciata, Gypsonoma ephoropa, Acleris issikii and Saliciphage acharis were the principal shelter builders, while in August shelters were constructed primarily by caterpillars of Nephopterix adelphella, A. issikii and S. acharis. Approximately 90% of leaf shelters were constructed on the top portions of shoots, suggesting that most shelter‐building caterpillars prefer to build leaf shelters here.  相似文献

A field experiment was conducted to examine the morphological variations of Leymus chinensis along the climatic gradient of the North‐east China Transect (NECT), from 115° to 125° E, in the vicinity of 43.5° N, in north‐eastern China. Ten sites selected for plant sampling along the gradient have approximately uniform theoretical radiation, but differ in precipitation and geographical elevation. The results of analyses showed that vegetative and reproductive shoot heights, flag leaf lengths and widths and seed numbers per inflorescence increased from the west to the east with precipitation, but decreased with aridity. Leaf lengths and widths for most leaf types from 115° to 124° E exhibited little variations. Significant correlations of plant heights, flag leaf lengths and widths and seed numbers per inflorescence with large‐scale climatic variables (e.g. annual precipitation, aridity) and geographical variation (longitude) found in this study indicated that climatic factors have significant effects on some morphological traits of L. chinensis along the NECT.  相似文献

We report a multiscale study in the Wind River Valley in southwestern Washington, where we quantified leaf to stand scale variation in spectral reflectance for dominant species. Four remotely sensed structural measures, the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), cover fractions from spectral mixture analysis (SMA), equivalent water thickness (EWT), and albedo were investigated using Airborne Visible Infrared Imaging Spectrometer (AVIRIS) data. Discrimination of plant species varied with wavelength and scale, with deciduous species showing greater separability than conifers. Contrary to expectations, plant species were most distinct at the branch scale and least distinct at the stand scale. At the stand scale, broadleaf and conifer species were spectrally distinct, as were most conifer age classes. Intermediate separability occurred at the leaf scale. Reflectance decreased from leaf to stand scales except in the broadleaf species, which peaked in near-infrared reflectance at the branch scale. Important biochemical signatures became more pronounced spectrally progressing from leaf to stand scales. Recent regenerated clear-cuts (less than 10 years old) had the highest albedo and nonphotosynthetic vegetation (NPV). After 50 years, the stands showed significant decreases in albedo, NPV, and EWT and increases in shade. Albedo was lowest in old-growth forests. Peak EWT, a proxy measure for leaf area index (LAI), was observed in 11- to 30-year-old stands. When compared to LAI, EWT and NDVI showed exponentially decreasing, but distinctly different, relationships with increasing LAI. This difference is biologically important: at 95% of the maximum predicted NDVI and EWT, LAI was 5.17 and 9.08, respectively. Although these results confirm the stand structural variation expected with forest succession, remote-sensing images also provide a spatial context and establish a basis to evaluate variance within and between age classes. Landscape heterogeneity can thus be characterized over large areas—a critical and important step in scaling fluxes from stand-based towers to larger scales.  相似文献

In Central European forestry the establishment of broad-leaved mixed forests is attaining increasing importance, but little information exists about gas exchange characteristics of some of the tree species involved, which are less abundant today. In an old-growth forest in Central Germany (Hainich, Thuringia), (i) I compared morphological and chemical leaf traits that are indicative of leaf gas exchange characteristics among eight co-existing species, and (ii) analysed photosynthetic parameters of saplings and adult trees (lower and upper canopy level) in four of these species (Acer pseudoplatanus L., Carpinus betulus L., Fraxinus excelsior L. and Tilia platyphyllos Scop.).Leaves from the upper canopy in the eight species studied varied significantly in their specific leaf area (12.9–19.4 m2 kg−1), stomatal density (125–313 stomata mm−2), leaf nitrogen concentration (95–157 mmol N m−2) and δ13C content (–27.81 to –25.85‰). F. excelsior and C. betulus were largely contrasting species, which suggests that the species, which were studied in more detail, include the widest difference in leaf gas exchange among the co-existing species. The saplings of the four selected species exhibited shade acclimated leaves with net photosynthesis rates at saturating irradiance (Amax) between 5.0 and 6.4 μmol m−2 s−1. In adult trees Amax of fully sunlit leaves was more variable and ranged from 10.5 (C. betulus) to 16.3 μmol m−2 s−1 (F. excelsior). However, less negative δ13C values in F. excelsior sun leaves point to a strong limitation in gas exchange. In the lower canopy of adult trees Amax of F. excelsior (12.0 μmol m−2 s−1) was also greater than that of A. pseudoplatanus, C. betulus and T. platyphyllos (5.0–5.6 μmol m−2 s−1). This can be explained by the small leaf area and the absence of shade leaves in mature F. excelsior trees. Thus, a considerable variation in leaf traits and gas exchange was found among the co-existing tree species. The results suggest that species-specific characteristics increase the spatial heterogeneity of canopy gas exchange and should be taken into account in the interpretation and prediction of gas flux from mixed stands.In der Forstwirtschaft Mitteleuropas gewinnt die Begründung von Laubmischwäldern zunehmend an Bedeutung, aber über Eigenschaften im Gasaustausch einiger beteiligter Baumarten, die heute nicht so häufig sind, ist wenig bekannt. In einem Altbestand in Mitteldeutschland (Hainich, Thüringen) habe ich (i) morphologische und chemische Eigenschaften von Sonnenblättern, die Hinweise auf Charakteristika im Blattgaswechsel geben, an acht koexistierenden Baumarten untersucht, und (ii) Photosyntheseparameter von juvenilen und adulten Bäumen (unteres und oberes Kronenniveau) von vier dieser Arten (Acer pseudoplatanus L., Carpinus betulus L., Fraxinus excelsior L. and Tilia platyphyllos Scop.) erhoben.Blätter aus dem oberen Kronenraum der acht untersuchten Arten variierten signifikant in der spezifischen Blattfläche (12.9–19.4 m2 kg−1), der Stomatadichte (125–313 Stomata mm−2), dem Blattstickstoffgehalt (95–157 mmol N m−2) und den δ13C-Werten (–27.81 bis –25.85‰). In diesem Kollektiv zeigten F. excelsior und C. betulus groβe Unterschiede, was darauf hindeutet, dass die Arten, die genauer untersucht wurden, die Spannweite an Gaswechseleigenschaften unter den koexistierenden Baumarten umfassen. Die Jungpflanzen der vier ausgewählten Arten besaßen Schattenblätter, deren Netto-Photosyntheserate bei hoher Lichtintensität (Amax) zwischen 5.0 and 6.4 μmol m−2 s−1 variierte. An Sonnenblättern von Altbäumen war Amax variabler und lag zwischen 10.5 (C. betulus) und 16.3 μmol m−2 s−1 (F. excelsior). Allerdings weisen hohe δ13C-Werte in Sonnenblättern von F. excelsior auf eine starke Limitierung des Gasaustauschs hin. Auch in der unteren Krone der Altbäume war Amax von F. excelsior (12.0 μmol m−2 s−1) höher als Amax von A. pseudoplatanus, C. betulus und T. platyphyllos (5.0–5.6 μmol m−2 s−1). Dies kann durch die geringe Blattfläche und die Abwesenheit von Schattenblättern in der Krone adulter Bäume von F. excelsior erklärt werden. Zwischen den koexistierenden Baumarten wurde somit in Bezug auf Blatteigenschaften und Photosyntheseparameter eine erhebliche Variation festgestellt. Die Ergebnisse legen nahe, dass artspezifische Eigenschaften die räumliche Heterogenität des Gaswechsels im Kronenraum erhöhen und bei der Interpretation und Vorhersage von Gasflüssen über Mischbeständen berücksichtigt werden sollten.  相似文献
