The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 12 weeks of aerobic training on the serum levels of adiponectin and leptin and on inflammatory markers of coronary heart disease in obese men. Sixteen non-athlete obese men were randomly assigned to one of two experimental groups. The experimental group underwent aerobic training consisting of three sessions per week for 12 weeks, while the control group did not participate in the training programme during the study period. Five millilitres of venous blood was taken from each participant at the beginning of the study, during week six and at the end of week 12 to measure the levels of leptin, adiponectin, C-reactive protein, interleukin-6 and tumour necrosis factor-α. The findings showed that aerobic training led to decreases in the levels of CRP (P = 0.002), IL-6 (P = 0.001) and leptin (P = 0.003) and an increase in the level of adiponectin (P = 0.002) in the experimental group relative to the control group. In addition, the level of TNF-α decreased in the experimental group after the 12-week aerobic training period, although this change was not statistically significant. According to the results of this study, regular aerobic exercise decreases the potential risk of coronary heart disease by improving the plasma levels of IL-6, adiponectin, leptin and CRP. Additionally, aerobic exercise can be used as effective non-pharmacological treatment to prevent diseases.  相似文献

In order to assess the relative contribution of aerobic processes to running velocity (v), 27 male athletes were selected on the basis of their middle-distance performances over 800, 1500, 3000 or 5000 m, during the 1987 track season. To be selected for study, the average running velocity (v) corresponding to their performances had to be superior to 90% of the best French v of the season. Maximum O2 consumption (VO2max) and energy cost of running (C) had been measured within the 2 months preceding the track season, which, together with oxygen consumption at rest (VO2rest) allowed us to calculate the maximal v that could be sustained under aerobic conditions: vamax = (VO2max - VO2rest) x C-1. The treadmill running v corresponding to a blood lactate of 4 mmol.l-1 (vla4), was also calculated. In the whole group, C was significantly related to height (r = -0.43; P less than 0.03). Neither C nor VO2max (with, in this case, the exception of the 3000 m athletes) were correlated to v. On the other hand, vamax was significantly correlated to v over distances longer than 800 m. These v were also correlated to vla4. However vla4 occurred at 87.5% SD 3.3% of vamax, this relationship was interpreted as being an expression of the correlation between vamax and v. Calculation of vamax provided a useful means of analysing the performances. Exercise plays an important role to improve cardiovascular performance. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of aerobic continuous and interval training on the left ventricular structure and function. Twenty untrained healthy male students (aged 18-22 years) were randomly divided into two groups: continuous (C; n = 10) and interval (I; n = 10). The training programme consisted of countryside jogging for 45 min during 8 weeks three times a week at 70% of maximum heart rate (MHR). In each session group C was jogging for 45 min and in group I jogging was performed in 5 nine-minute stages with a four-minute inactive rest between them. M-mode, 2-dimensional, colour and Doppler transthoracic echocardiography were performed, during resting conditions, before and after the training period. After 8-week training the end diastolic diameter, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in groups C and I, and the posterior wall thickness and the end systolic diameter in group I showed no significant difference (P > 0.05). On the other hand, the percentage of ejection fraction and shortening fraction in groups C and I, the end systolic diameter and the posterior wall thickness in group C and the interventricular septum thickness in group I demonstrated a significant difference (P ≤ 0.05). Comparing the two groups, only the value of the interventricular septum thickness was significant (P ≤ 0.05). In general, eight-week aerobic continuous and interval training can affect left ventricular structure and function.  相似文献

转基因标识与消费者知情权和选择权密切相关,因而成为最受关注的转基因政策之一。从1997年第一个转基因标识制度诞生开始,全球已有70多个国家和地区开展了各具特色的转基因产品标识管理。2015年以来,受转基因产业发展政策、公众接受程度、农产品贸易需求、国家政治立场等多重因素的影响和作用,美国、韩国、俄罗斯、乌克兰和日本等国家相继着手调整转基因标识政策或改变实施细则,呈现出强制标识呼声高、标识范围扩大、标注方式更加明确、阴性标识更规范等特点。通过分析国际转基因标识制度及变动趋势,提出了我国转基因标识在扩大标识范围、设立标识豁免阈值和规范阴性标识等方面的管理建议。  相似文献

Abstract

Polypropylene (PP) degrading bacteria (P1 to P16) were isolated from compost using enrichment technique. Five isolates (P3, P6, P8, P10, and P13) were selected based on their degradation abilities. These isolates were identified as Bacillus spp. through biochemical characteristics and 16S rDNA sequence analysis. The isolates were tested for their ability to degrade blends of PP and poly-L-lactide (PLLA) (PP80 and PP80C6) in minimal media as well as in soil. In minimal media, the growth of bacteria increased with time, showing utilization of blend as carbon source. The protein content was estimated at the end of 15?days and maximum amount was secreted by isolate P8 indicating maximum potential to degrade polymers compared to other isolates. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results revealed the formation of biofilm on the polymer surface. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis showed the formation of new bond at 2123?cm?1 and breakage of old C=O ester bond at 1757?cm?1 in case of polymer PP80C6. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) showed decrease in thermal stability of polymers after degradation. The carbon dioxide evolved from sample was measured and biodegradation degree was also calculated. The degree of biodegradation shown by the isolate P8 was 12% and the P6 was 10%. The results demonstrated that Bacillus species isolated from composted samples in this study provided promising evidence for the biodegradation of polypropylene and poly-L-lactide (PP-PLLA) blends in the environment.  相似文献

To generate meaningful results, life cycle assessments (LCAs) require accurate technology data that are consistent with the goal and scope of the analysis. While literature data are available for many products and processes, finding representative data for highly site‐specific technologies, such as waste treatment processes, remains a challenge. This study investigated representative life cycle inventory (LCI) modeling of waste treatment technologies in consideration of variations in technological level and climate. The objectives were to demonstrate the importance of representative LCI modeling as a function of the specificity of the study, and to illustrate the necessity of iteratively refining the goal and scope of the study as data are developed. A landfill case study was performed where 52 discrete landfill data sets were built and grouped to represent different technology options and geographical sites, potential impacts were calculated, and minimum/maximum (min‐max) intervals were generated for each group. The results showed decreasing min‐max intervals with increasing specificity of the scope of study, which indicates that compatibility between the scope of study and LCI model is critical. Hereby, this study quantitatively demonstrates the influence of representative modeling on LCA results. The results indicate that technology variations and site‐specific conditions (e.g., the influence of precipitation and cover permeability on landfill gas generation and collection) should be carefully addressed by a systematic analysis of the key process parameters. Therefore, a thorough understanding of the targeted waste treatment technologies is necessary to ensure that appropriate data choices are made within the boundaries of the defined scope of the study.  相似文献
