Aims Precipitation pulses and different land use practices (such as grazing) play important roles in regulating soil respiration and carbon balance of semiarid steppe ecosystems in Inner Mongolia. However, the interactive effects of grazing and rain event magnitude on soil respiration of steppe ecosystems are still unknown. We conducted a manipulative experiment with simulated precipitation pulses in Inner Mongolia steppe to study the possible responses of soil respiration to different precipitation pulse sizes and to examine how grazing may affect the responses of soil respiration to precipitation pulses.Methods Six water treatments with different precipitation pulse sizes (0, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 mm) were conducted in the ungrazed and grazed sites, respectively. Variation patterns of soil respiration of each treatment were determined continuously after the water addition treatments.Important findings Rapid and substantial increases in soil respiration occurred 1 day after the water treatments in both sites, and the magnitude and duration of the increase in soil respiration depended on pulse size. Significantly positive relationships between the soil respiration and soil moisture in both sites suggested that soil moisture was the most important factor responsible for soil respiration rate during rain pulse events. The ungrazed site maintained significantly higher soil moisture for a longer time, which was the reason that the soil respiration in the ungrazed site was maintained relatively higher rate and longer period than that in the grazed site after a rain event. The significant exponential relationship between soil temperature and soil respiration was found only in the plots with the high water addition treatments (50 and 100 mm). Lower capacity of soil water holding and lower temperature sensitivity of soil respiration in the grazed site indicated that degraded steppe due to grazing might release less CO2 to the atmosphere through soil respiration under future precipitation and temperature scenarios.  相似文献

研究了不同海拔(2 100~2 700 m)下,野生和人工栽培云南黄连的生物量、主要有效成分含量及产量.结果表明:野生云南黄连根茎和根生物量沿海拔梯度呈上升趋势,但无显著性差异(P>0.05);人工栽培云南黄连根茎生物量平均值在海拔2 600 m和2 700 m处分别为87.5 kg·hm-2和97.0 kg·hm-2,显著高于海拔2 300 m处(34.8 kg·hm-2,P<0.05),且海拔2 300、2 600和2 700 m的人工栽培云南黄连根茎和根生物量均大于野生云南黄连,但无显著性差异(P>0.05). 野生云南黄连的根茎和根生物量均与全株生物量呈显著正相关. 野生云南黄连根茎和根小檗碱含量在海拔2 700 m处最高,分别为4.60%和1.93%; 根茎巴马汀和药根碱含量、根药根碱含量在海拔2 600~2 700 m处最高;根巴马汀含量在2 300 m处最高.人工云南黄连根茎和根小檗碱含量在海拔2 600 m处最高,分别为4.41%和1.90%; 根茎巴马汀含量,根小檗碱、巴马汀和药根碱含量在海拔2 600~2 700 m处最高;根茎药根碱含量在海拔2 300 m处最高.海拔2 600~2 700 m处野生云南黄连根茎和根中各有效成分产量显著高于海拔2 100和2 300 m处(P<0.05). 野生云南黄连分株的根茎生物量、根生物量、叶生物量、总生物量、高度和冠幅沿海拔梯度呈先升后降趋势.增大种植密度和加强人工管理可以提高云南黄连生物量和主要有效成分产量.  相似文献

森林生态系统对维持自然生态系统格局、功能和过程具有特殊的生态意义。该文以广东省古兜山自然保护区为例,探讨了自然保护区森林生态系统服务功能的价值。采用市场价值法、影子工程法、替代花费法等对古兜山自然保护区森林生态系统服务功能价值进行评估,得出古兜山自然保护区每年森林生态系统服务功能总价值为57887615元。其中生产功能价值为6937700元,每年森林景观与游憩的平均价值为4050000元,森林生态系统改善大气环境的年总价值约32212700元,涵养水源与净化水质的年总价值为5809000元,森林保育土壤的年总价值为8878215元。该研究的目的在于以数值来显示自然保护区森林生态系统所提供的生态服务功能价值是巨大的,从而加深全社会对生态服务价值的认识,加强对森林生态系统服务功能的管理与保护。  相似文献

不同水稻品种产量形成过程的能量积累与热值特征   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
通过测定晚季稻汕优63 (三系杂交稻)、两优2186(两系杂交稻)和IR64(常规稻)生长过程中的干物质和热值,研究了不同水稻品种生长过程中的热值动态和能量固定特征.结果表明,完熟期汕优63、两优2186和IR64 3种水稻的干物质积累量分别为1926.38、1933.80和1842.30 g·m-2,能量积累量分别为31137.05、31060.63和30454.89 kJ·m-2,不同水稻品种的干物质及能量积累量间无显著差异.在灌浆过程中,汕优63、两优2186和IR64总的能量表观转化率分别为38.95%、 28.38%和32.66%,汕优63和IR64的能量流动比两优2186顺畅,两优2186茎器官能量输出受阻.完熟期3种水稻分配到籽粒中的能量依次占53.03%、46.43%和50.11%,三系杂交稻汕优63具有能量分配优势.热值分析表明,3种水稻各生育期间的热值平均值间无显著差异;不同器官热值大小依次为:叶>籽粒>鞘>茎>根,热值范围为:叶16.81~17.25 kJ·g-1,籽粒15.89~16.54 kJ·g-1,鞘14.33~15.49 kJ·g-1,茎14.23~15.15 kJ·g-1,根11.51~13.25 kJ·g-1,叶片的热值显著高于其它器官,而根的热值显著低于其它器官.水稻叶片热值与其碳含量、叶绿素a含量、氮含量存在显著正相关,确定系数R2分别为0.609、0.471和0.485.  相似文献

运用景观生态学原理与方法,对重庆市沙坪坝区近10年土地利用变化进行研究;通过对土地利用类型赋予相应的相对生态价值,探讨土地利用结构变化对区域生态健康状况的影响.结果表明,各土地利用类型间相互转移,各时段土地利用结构差异明显;不同土地利用结构下,各子生态系统的相对生态价值高低悬殊,对区域生态健康的贡献程度表现不一;从总体上看,区域相对生态价值在研究时段内有升有降;未来各生态子系统的相对生态价值变化可表现为:先降后升区、持续下降区和持续增长区3种趋势;区域生态健康状况趋势由较健康型向健康型转变.  相似文献

Mesorhizobium huakuii strain LL56 and Mesorhizobium sp. strain LL22, which nodulate Lotus glaber, developed an adaptive acid response during exponential growth upon exposure to sublethal acid conditions. The adaptive acid response was found to be dependent on the sublethal pH and the strain intrinsic acid tolerance: the lowest adaptation pH was 4.0 for strain LL56 and 5.7 for strain LL22, and the lowest pH values tolerated after adaptation were 3.0 and 4.0, respectively. Both complex and minimal medium allowed the development of the adaptive acid response, although in complex medium this response was more effective. Three low molecular weight polypeptides (LMWPs) showed increased expression in strain LL56 during the adaptation to pH 4.0. However, the adaptive acid tolerance was only partially dependent on de novo protein synthesis, and constitutive systems may play a significant role on the acid tolerance of Mesorhizobium huakuii strain LL56.  相似文献

While biodiversity protection has become a widely accepted goal of environmental protectionists, no such agreement exists regarding why it is important. Two, competing theories of natural value – here called ‘Economism’ and ‘Intrinsic Value Theory’ – are often cited to support the goal. Environmentalists, who have recently proposed the articulation of a universal ‘Earth Charter’ to express the shared values humans derive from nature, have cited both of these theories as support for biodivesity protection. Unfortunately these theories, which are expressed as polar opposites, do not work well together and the question arises: is there a shared value that humans place on nature? It is argued that these two value theories share four questionable assumptions: (1) a sharp distinction between ‘intrinsic’ and ‘instrumental’ value; (2) an entity orientation; (3) moral monism; and (4) placeless evaluation. If these four assumptions are denied, an alternative value system emerges which recognizes a continuum of ways humans value nature, values processes rather than only entities, is pluralistic, and values biodiversity in place. An alternative theory of value, which emphasizes protecting processes rather than protecting objects, and which values nature for the creativity of its processes, is proposed as a more attractive theory for expressing the universal values of nature that should motivate an Earth Charter and the goal of biodiversity protection.  相似文献

Recent advances in studies of genetic variation at protein and DNA levels in plant natural populations and its relationship with environmental changes were reviewed with special reference to the works on the wild barley ( Hordeum spontaneum C. Koch.). On one side, adaptation was shown in statistic data, on the other side, the fact that a considerable part of genetic variation does exist within populations (subpopulations) under same ecological condition indicated its maintainability of neutral or near-neutral mutations in natural populations. The researches on adaptive populations of plants, especially on wild soybean ( Glycine soja Sieb. et Zucc.) mainly conducted in author's laboratory, have shown that the most part of molecular variation within and among populations can not be explained by selection particularly as far as the individual uniqueness was concerned. There are some data shown that adaptation may be caused by accumulation of a few near-neutral mutations. Recent publications on molecular mechanisms of morphological evolution has been received special attention to elucidate the discrepancy between molecular evolution and morphological adaptive evolution. A frame on the unified evolution theory has been built. Finally some related viewpoints of philosophy were discussed.  相似文献

本研究采用大肠杆菌GM133 rifr细胞和营养收集细胞HB214 strr进行适应性突变实验。在混合30min和2d 后添加链霉素杀死GM133基因型细胞,继续培养5d后,在选择平板上出现了一定数量的lac+strr基因型回复突变菌落。根据这些突变菌落的数量,估计在lac+突变产生之前,GM133和HB214细胞之间的接合频率分别为0.07%和7.47%。在培养了7d的选择平板上添加含链霉素的M9选择培养基,2d 后也观察到大量发生lac+突变但没有形成肉眼可见菌落的营养收集细胞。此外,在lac+突变发生后,也有F因子从GM133细胞转移进入HB214细胞。这些事实表明,在FC40系统的适应性突变实验中发生了真正的F因子转移。 Abstract:The experiment of adaptive mutation was performed by using Escherichia coli GM133 rifr as test cells and HB214 strr as scavenger cells.Transfer frequency between GM133 and HB214 was estimated,based on the number of revertants appeared on the selective plates when GM133 were killed by addition of M9 selective medium containing 100μg/mL of streptomycin at different time.After 30 minutes the cells of GM133 and HB214 were mixed,the estimated transfer frequency was about 0.07%,and two days,7.47%.After selection of 7 days,some HB214 cells with F` factor from GM133 cells and lac+ mutation were observed,but these cells failed to form the colonies which can be seen by the naked-eye.It was demonstrated that actual F` factor transfer events from test cells GM133 to scavenger cells HB214 occurred during the selection.  相似文献
