N-glycosidically-linked glycans released by hydrazinolysis of human factor VIII/von Willebrand factor (FVIII/vWf) were separated by high-voltage electrophoresis. Five fractions were obtained, one of them representing 60% of the total amount of the N-glycosidically-linked glycans of FVIII/vWf. On the basis of the carbohydrate composition, methylation analysis and 500 MHz 1H-NMR spectroscopy, we describe the primary structure of this major glycan which is of the monosialylated and monofucosylated biantennary N-acetyllactosaminic type. 相似文献

The NH2-terminal 12-residue peptide of alpha 2-plasmin inhibitor, Asn-Gln-Glu-Gln-Val-Ser-Pro-Leu-Thr-Gly-Leu-Lys-NH2 . AcOH, was found to be a good substrate for plasma transglutaminase (activated blood coagulation factor XIII) and rapidly incorporated into fibrin by the enzyme. A high concentration of the peptide inhibited the enzyme-mediated cross-linking of alpha 2-plasmin inhibitor to fibrin probably by competing with the inhibitor for the same site of fibrin alpha-chain. 相似文献

本文依据孢粉、微体古生物、放射性碳测年、因子分析等资料,表明25000a,BP 以来渤海湾西岸的古植被,古地理环境演变既受气候冷暖变化的影响,又受海平面变化的制约。25000—23000a,BP 为高海平面时期,古植被为森林草甸植被,23000—12000a,BP,气候冷干,为低海平面时期,以草原植被为主,前期和后期为沼泽草甸植被。12000—5000a,BP 气候温凉或温暖湿润为海平面上升时期,为阔叶林草甸或沼泽草甸植被,5000a,BP 以来,气候变凉变干,为海退时期,古植被由沼泽草甸演变为盐生草甸。 相似文献

本文报道了在国内首次用转移因子制剂治疗奶牛隐性乳房炎的效果。我们采用的转移因子制剂是本单位从健康猪脾细胞提取的,经按人用转移因子制检规程检测达到要求后,用于本省西部、东部和郊区三个奶牛场计159头患隐性乳房炎的奶牛,每天一次肌注,连续用药5次,测定用药前后的客观指标(CMT、BTB、苛性钠及氯化物凝乳试验等),以痊愈、显效、好转及无效等判定标准,经统计学处理后看出,用药后与用药前比较,差异非常显著(P<0.01),治疗组的有效率为91.2%,看出了应用转移因子治疗奶牛隐性乳房炎具有明显的治疗效果。 相似文献

为研究鲸类低氧适应的分子机制,文章克隆了不同低氧耐受能力的3个鲸类物种,抹香鲸(Physeter macrocephalus)、白鲸(Delphinapterus leucas)和长江江豚(Neophocaena phocaenoids asiaeorientalis)的脯氨酸羟化酶2(PHD2)。通过对其序列进行分析,发现3个物种PHD2的氨基酸序列非常保守。通过对这3个物种的PHD2的功能进行探究发现:3个物种的PHD2在常氧情况下均可以降解3个物种的HIF-α(包括HIF-1α和HIF-2α)蛋白,而在低氧(O2浓度小于2%)情况下,PHD2则无法明显降解HIF-α蛋白。在常氧下,鲸类的PHD2降解HIF-α是依赖于识别鲸类的HIF-1α上LTLLAP和LEMLAP,HIF-2α的LAQLAP和LETLAP氨基酸片段,推测PHD2是通过对HIF-α序列中的脯氨酸位点进行羟基化修饰后,被VHL-E3泛素连接酶复合体所识别,发生泛素化降解。而在低氧条件下,PHD2的活性受到抑制HIF-α不能被VHL-E3泛素连接酶复合体识别,发生降解。研究对3种不同低氧耐受能力... 相似文献

Summary A membrane interactive peptide was toxic to microspores, pollen and protoplasts of canola in the 1–5 µM concentration range. Similarly, at 5.0 µM the peptide completely inhibited germination of conidia ofVerticillium albo-atrum; however, when tested with conidia of a virulent isolate of blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculens), a fungal pathogen of canola, much higher levels (>30 µM) of the peptide were required to reduce or arrest germination and growth of the conidia. When testing the relative toxicities of novel peptides on plant cells and their pathogens, pollen germination is a simple, rapid and reliable alternative to protoplasts. 相似文献

Uteroglobin, a progesterone induced, pregnancy related protein, can be incorporated into higher molecular weight proteins by human placental Factor XIIIa. This process is time dependent, requires CaCl2 and can be inhibited by the addition of polylysine, dansylcadavarine or histamine. Crosslinking of uteroglobin into higher molecular weight proteins can also be brought about by guinea pig liver transglutaminase. Summary The pattern of diversity in forty genotypes of clusterbean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub) was analysed using the centroid method of factor analysis based on nine characters. Three factors were found to adequately account for most of the intercorrelations in the four environments. Branches, clusters, pods and seed yield/plant could be grouped as productivity factors; days to flowering, maturity and plant height as growth factors; seeds/pod and gum content as economic factor. Interestingly, the constitution of the factors were the same in all the environments. The loadings on the economic factors were relatively unstable, whereas the loadings on productivity and growth factors were stable. It is concluded that productivity and growth factors play a pivotal role towards diversity in clusterbean. The results of factor analysis provides confirmatory evidence of diversity in clusterbean, which was earlier studied by using generalized distance, and thus proves the adequacy of the centroid method in biological investigations. 相似文献

Preliminary studies on the proliferative effects of lytic peptides were carried out using NIH 3T3 murine fibroblast cells and human lymphocytes. Cells were cultured in various concentrations of three different amphipathic peptides (SB-37, Shiva-1, and Vishnu), and enhanced proliferation was determined by uptake of 3H-thymidine with treated cells compared with control cultures. Enhanced proliferation of 3T3 cells was observed in cultures containing 50 microM or less SB-37. The primary study consisted of 263 four-cell- to eight-cell-stage mouse embryos from naturally bred mice and incubated in Whitten's medium containing 0.2, 1, or 10 microM of the amino terminus of an amphipathic cecropin B analog (Vishnu) or in Whitten's medium alone. Embryos were cultured to the hatched blastocyst stage, and effect of treatment was determined by the rate of growth to that stage of development. Statistical analysis revealed that culture in all three levels of Vishnu significantly accelerated in vitro growth of these stages of preimplantation embryos compared with controls. These results indicate that Vishnu promotes increased cleavage rates of embryos in vitro. A growth factor receptor clustering mechanism of action is proposed. This peptide may have some potential as an embryo culture medium additive to enhance in vitro growth rate. 相似文献
