渤海鱼类复殖吸虫Ⅵ(吸虫纲:孔肠科)   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
在渤海(大连市)采集的六线鱼肠内发现大连新卷宫吸虫,新种Neohelicometra dalienensis sp.nov.,虫体大小4.8—5.5×0.5—0.6mm。口腹吸盘比1:0.7。睾丸前后排列,较大。生殖孔在咽后。卵巢分叶,在赤道线稍后。卵黄腺在体两侧,起自腹吸盘之后,不伸到体末端。卵43—58×20—33μm。  相似文献

Surgical transfer of adult Fasciola hepatica from sheep, goats, and cattle to subcutis of rats 4 wk before infection with metacercariae resulted in a 50% decrease in infection rate as compared to nonoperated controls.Infection was established in 25 out of 77 rats with F. hepatica implants, while 54 out of 79 were infected in the control group. The protective effect of the fluke implantation is discussed. It is suggested that production of protective antibodies is stimulated by the undamaged living flukes, although the antigen itself has not been demonstrated.  相似文献

At the light microscope level, nonspecific acid phosphatase (AcPase) (EC 3.1.3.2) and N-acetyl glucosaminidase (NAGase) (EC 3.2.1.29) activities are in the esophageal gland cells of Schistosoma mansoni and Schistosomatium douthitti and in the gastrodermis of S. mansoni. The gastrodermis of S. douthitti is negative for these two enzymes. At the electron microscope level, AcPase activity in the esophageal gland cells of both species is observed in cytoplasmic vesicles. In S. mansoni, AcPase activity is also observed associated with the infoldings of the basal plasma membranes of the esophagus and the gastrodermis. It is hypothesized that this enzyme(s) is involved with membrane transport. AcPase activity is also associated with “droplets” and vesicles in the gastrodermis of S. mansoni. It is believed that the digestion of foodstuffs in both species occurs extracellularly.  相似文献

Contents of the funduses and ducts of the postacetabular glands of Schistosoma mansoni cercariae, the secreted deposits, and the surface film were compared by their histochemical reactions. Techniques for carbohydrate-containing substances, neutral and acid mucosubstance, proteins and amino acids, and enzymes were used. The secretion reacted differently before (within the glands) and after (in secreted deposits) emission.Before emission, the postacetabular gland contents reacted as a neutral mucosubstance containing periodate-engendered and periodate-reactive aldehydes rich in vic-glycols or their substituted amines, probably hexoses other than glucose, such as fucose or galactose. No reactions of significance were observed for acid groups or for glycogen or lipids. In this state, the secretion is termed mucigen.After emission, the secretion stained not only as mucigen, but also as acid mucosubstance, apparently sialomucin. After emission, it is termed mucin.It is probable that acid radicals were present in mucigen but were masked stearically by the presence of adjacent neutral radicals or basic proteins. The surface film reacted as both a neutral and an acid mucosubstance. Evidence suggested that the film itself was neutral and that the reaction for acid mucosubstance was from an overlay of mucin secreted from the postacetabular glands.Proteins and amino acids, especially arginine, and some tyrosine and tryptophan were indicated in mucigen and in mucin by the histochemical tests. There was no histochemical evidence of enzymes. Secretion of the postacetabular glands is concluded from histochemical reactions, as from earlier chromatographic data (Stirewalt and Evans 1960), to be a carbohydrate-protein-lipid complex.  相似文献

Blood flukes of the family Spirorchiidae Stunkard, 1921 are significant pathogens of marine turtles, both in the wild and in captivity. Despite causing considerable disease and mortality, little is known about the life cycles of marine species, with just four reports globally. No complete life cycle has been elucidated for any named species of marine spirorchiid, but the group is reported to use vermetid and fissurellid gastropods, and terebelliform polychaetes as intermediate hosts. Here we report molecular evidence that nine related spirorchiid species infect vermetid gastropods as first intermediate hosts from four localities along the coast of Queensland, Australia. ITS2 rDNA and cox1 mtDNA sequence data generated from vermetid infections provides the first definitive identifications for the intermediate hosts for the four species of Hapalotrema Looss, 1899 and Learedius learedi Price, 1934. Additionally, we provide a new locality report for larval stages of Amphiorchis sp., and evidence of three additional unidentified spirorchiid species in Australian waters. Based on the wealth of infections from vermetids during this study, we conclude that the previous preliminary report of a fissurellid limpet as the intermediate host for L. learedi was likely mistaken. The nine species found infecting vermetids during this study form a strongly supported clade exclusive of species of the other two marine spirorchiid genera for which sequence data are available; Carettacola Manter & Larson, 1950 which falls sister to the vermetid-infecting clade + a small clade of freshwater spirorchiids, and Neospirorchis Price, 1934 which is distantly related to the vermetid-infecting clade. We provide further evidence that spirorchiid transmission can occur in closed system aquaria and show that spirorchiid transmission occurs at both an important turtle rookery (Heron Island, southern Great Barrier Reef, Australia) and foraging ground (Moreton Bay, Australia). We discuss the implications of our findings for the epidemiology of the disease, control in captivity, and the evolution of vermetid exploitation by the Spirorchiidae.  相似文献

Nonrandom recruitment of parasites among hosts can lead to genetic differentiation among hosts and mating dynamics that promote inbreeding. It has been hypothesized that strictly aquatic parasites with intermediate hosts will behave as panmictic populations among hosts because ample opportunity exists for random mixing of unrelated individuals during transmission to the definitive host. A previous allozyme study on the marine trematode Lecithochirium fusiforme did not support this hypothesis; in that, there was genetic differentiation among, and significant heterozygote deficiencies within, definitive hosts. We revisit this system and use microsatellites to obtain multilocus genotypes. Our goal was to determine whether cryptic subgroups and/or the presence of clones could account for the apparent deviation from 'panmixia'. We find strong evidence for cryptic subdivision (three genetic clusters) that causes the Wahlund effect and differentiation among definitive hosts. After accounting for these cryptic groups, we see panmictic genetic structure among definitive hosts that is consistent with the 'high mixing in aquatic habitats' hypothesis. We see evidence for cotransmission of clones in all three clusters, but this level of clonal structure did not have a major impact in causing deviations from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, and only affected genetic differentiation among hosts in one cluster. A cursory examination of the data may have led to incorrect conclusions about nonrandom transmission. However, it is obvious in this system that there is more than meets the eye in relation to the actual make-up of parasite populations. In general, the methods we employ will be useful for elucidating hidden patterns in other organisms where cryptic structure may be common (e.g. those with limited morphology or complex life histories).  相似文献

In hermaphroditic helminth parasites, infrapopulation size or mating group size mostly affects some processes acting within the infrapopulation. Here, 30 natural infrapopulations (12-154 individuals) of the intestinal trematode Gyliauchen volubilis Nagaty, 1956 from the fish Siganus rivulatus consisting of newly excysted juveniles, immature and mature worms were found distributed in a well-defined fundamental niche (anterior 40% of the intestine). In small infrapopulations, all stages of the parasite were alive. In larger infrapopulations, differential mortality was only and consistently observed among newly excysted juveniles, and gradually increased to include most or all juveniles in the largest infrapopulations. Among mature worms, the mean worm length seemed unaffected by the infrapopulation size. However, the ratio mean testis size-mean ovary size, a reliable indicator of resource allocation to the male function and of opportunities for cross fertilization, significantly increased with mating group size. In small infrapopulations, all stages of the parasite were scattered along the niche, and never seen in mating pairs (possibly reproduced by self-fertilization). In larger infrapopulations, newly excysted juveniles and immature worms were scattered along the anterior two thirds of the niche, while mature worms were constantly found aggregated in its posterior third (narrow microhabitat), where some were arranged in mating pairs. The probability of mating reciprocally or unilaterally was dependent on body size. The mean number of uterine eggs per worm significantly decreased and their mean sizes significantly increased with mating group size. The results are statistically significant and suggest that infrapopulation self-regulation is greatly associated with its size.  相似文献
