淀山湖基于初级生产力的鲢鳙富营养化控制   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
于2008年10月—2009年9月,采用黑白瓶测溶氧法对淀山湖湖南区和围隔区初级生产力进行逐月测定,依据测定的湖南区初级生产力估算鲢、鳙渔产潜力及合理放养量,讨论温度、透明度、营养盐、叶绿素a等理化因子与初级生产力的相关性,分析鲢、鳙放养对淀山湖水体营养物质的定量去除效果。结果表明:1)湖南区平均水柱日毛产量(PG)为4.02gO2.m-2,8月最高、1月最低,净产量(PN)为1.99gO2.m-2,年PN/PG=52%;2)0~0.5m水层对水柱初级生产力贡献最大,湖南区占32.3%、围隔区占32.2%;3)初级生产力与透明度、水温呈明显正相关,与其他理化因子相关性不明显;4)淀山湖浮游植物年生产量为28.18×104t,按鲢鳙3:1比例放养,鲢渔产潜力为1621.58t,鳙为1216.18t,鲢合理放养量为16.94t.km-2,鳙合理放养量为6.35t.km-2;5)以淀山湖每年渔产2837.76t计算,可以固定氮、磷分别为85.50t、7.63t,由此可使淀山湖水体中氮、磷含量分别降低0.67和0.06mg.L-1。  相似文献

Klaipėda is a town in western Lithuania on the Baltic Sea coast. Oak timber was actively used to construct buildings in this town until the 17th century. Archaeological investigations began in Klaipėda’s old town in 1979, but it has not been possible to use oak timbers for dating due to the lack of regional chronologies. The goal of this study was to fill this gap by developing a well-replicated oak chronology from timber collected in Klaipėda between 1979 and 1987. The resulting oak chronology from Klaipėda spans 306 years from 1247 to 1552 and includes 62 oak timber cross-sections. The study suggests that the timber was felled in the same local woodland, and that tree-ring widths series from Klaipėda are temperature-sensitive. The negative pointer years mostly coincide with negative anomalies of reconstructed April‒September temperature from elsewhere in Europe. The constructed chronology was compared with local chronologies (Vilquro, Smarhoń, Gdańsk) and with oak chronologies made from imported oak timber of southeast Baltic origin (Baltic 1–3, Dutch). We assessed whether it is possible to determine the origins of the Baltic 1, Baltic 3 and Dutch oak chronologies compiled from imported timber. Based on available chronologies, it could be hypothesised that Baltic 1 and Dutch chronologies are originated from western Lithuania and Baltic 3 from eastern Lithuania.  相似文献

Abstract: Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) forests with Gambel oak (Quercus gambelii) are associated with higher bird abundance and diversity than are ponderosa pine forests lacking Gambel oak. Little is known, however, about specific structural characteristics of Gambel oak trees, clumps, and stands that may be important to birds in ponderosa pine-Gambel oak (hereafter pine-oak) forests. We examined associations among breeding birds and structural characteristics of Gambel oak at a scale similar in size to individual bird territories in pine-oak forests in northern Arizona and western New Mexico, USA. Avian species richness and occurrence of some bird species were associated with specific growth forms of Gambel oak. Estimated probability of Virginia's warblers (Vermivora virginiae), black-headed grosbeaks (Pheucticus melanocephalus), and red-faced warblers (Cardellina rubrifrons) occurring at points increased with increasing density of pole-sized Gambel oak 7–15 cm in diameter at breast height. We also found evidence that large Gambel oak trees (≥23 cm dbh) were associated with increased occurrence of yellow-rumped warblers (Dendroica coronata) at points. Some avian associations with oak were influenced by characteristics of ponderosa pines. For example, bird species richness was positively associated with the abundance of large Gambel oak when density of large pine trees ≥23 cm in diameter at breast height was low. Because large oak trees are rare and their numbers are thought to be declining, efforts should be made to retain and promote growth of additional oaks in this size class. Forest management practices that maintain forest openings, such as prescribed burning, could promote growth of pole-sized Gambel oak, which appears important to some bird species in pine-oak forests.  相似文献

Abstract:  To understand the role of chemical signals involved in Scolytus intricatus (Ratzeburg) (Col., Scolytidae) host colonization, the attractiveness of intact and beetle colonized host material was investigated in the field and in the laboratory. In the field, chemical signals operating at long range were investigated by means of sticky traps. In the laboratory, close-range chemical interactions were investigated with an arena olfactometer. Field experiments showed no differences in the attractiveness between infested and non-infested host material. On the contrary, laboratory experiments revealed higher attractiveness of infested host and beetle-produced frass in comparison with intact host and mechanically produced sawdust respectively. Laboratory data also disclosed the attractiveness of beetle extracts of both sexes. Our data show that: (1) host kairomones play an important role during host colonization, and that (2) S. intricatus does not use a sex-specific secondary attractant system. Differences between results of field and laboratory trials are discussed.  相似文献

Breakdown rates and microbial colonization patterns of dogwood and oak leaves were measured between November and June of 1987–88 and 1988–89. Leaves were placed in artificial streams loose (unconstrained), in bags, or in packs. Discharge was maintained at approximately 0.25 s–1, and no shredders were present in the streams. Average microbial biomass as ATP, for all species and treatments, increased from near 0 mg g–1 AFDW in November to over 8 mg g–1 AFDW in June. Microbial respiration increased from about 0.01 µg glucose respired hr-g–1 AFDW in November to about 0.03 µg hr-g–1 AFDW in June. Microbial biomass and activity were significantly greater on dogwood leaves than on oak leaves. Dogwood and oak leaf breakdown rates were fastest when unconstrained, –0.0034 and –0.0027 degree-day–1 respectively. Breakdown rates of dogwood leaves were faster in bags (–0.0025 degree-day–1) than in packs (–0.0015 degree-day–1) while rates of oak leaves were not significantly different between bags and packs (–0.0014 and –0.0018 degree-day–1 respectively). Breakdown rates of dogwood and oak leaves obtained in this study were much slower than those obtained by other investigators either in the presence or absence of shredders. A comparison of results from this study with results from other studies revealed that dogwood leaves may be affected more by turbulence, while oak leaves may be influenced more by shredder activity.  相似文献

Tree growth is a key ecosystem function supporting climate change mitigation strategies. However climate change may induce feedbacks on radial growth and wood density, affecting the carbon sequestration capacity of forests. Using a mixed modeling technique long-term trends in radial growth, wood density and above-ground biomass, defined as the product of the annual basal area growth with the wood density, of common beech (Fagus sylvatica) and sessile oak (Quercus petraea) in the Belgian Ardennes, were determined and explained using climate drivers of change. This modeling strategy allowed us to determine if the same conclusions can be drawn when only BAI is considered, as is assumed in most carbon sequestration studies, when looking at long-term trends in carbon sequestration. The models indicate that above-ground biomass increment changes over time are more driven by changes in radial growth than by changes in wood density. Nevertheless, the assumption of constant wood density in most carbon sequestration studies is incorrect. Ignoring wood density results in an underestimation of long-term trends in above-ground biomass increment for beech, and an overestimation of above-ground biomass increment for oak. Interesting is that radial growth is mostly driven by climate variables of the current year, whereas wood density is more driven by the climate variables of the previous year. Beech radial growth and wood density is found to be negatively influenced by drought and positively by water availability. Oak radial growth and wood density is negatively affected by late frost and positively by water availability. The findings of this study suggest that radial growth in combination with wood density should be used in carbon sequestration studies as different climate driven long-term trends in radial growth and wood density are found.  相似文献

We investigated the effects of a short period of water stress on monoterpene emissions from Quercus ilex, a common oak species of the Mediterranean vegetation and a strong emitter of monoterpenes. The experiment was carried out on two young saplings with a branch enclosure system under semi-controlled conditions. Under unstressed conditions, small qualitative (cis--ocimene, trans--ocimene, -caryophyllene and 1,8-cineol) and large quantitative (as much as 40% for the main compounds emitted) differences were observed between the two apparently similar trees. Nevertheless these differences did not affect the short-and long-term responses to temperature and water stress. Daily courses of emissions and gas exchanges were similar before and after the stress. During the most severe stress, emissions were reduced by a factor of two orders of magnitude and the log-linear relationship between emissions and temperature no longer existed. Photosynthesis and transpiration rates decreased as soon as the soil started to dry, whereas monoterpene emissions slightly increased for few days and then dropped when the daily CO2 balance approached zero. We concluded that under water stress monoterpene emissions were highly limited by monoterpene synthesis resulting from a lack of carbon substrate and/or ATP. After rewatering, both emissions and gas exchanges recovered immediately, but to a level lower than the pre-stress level. These results have many implications for monoterpene emission modelling in the Mediterranean area, since the dry period generally extends from May to August. If our results are confirmed by field experiments, water stress could lead to a large overestimation of the emissions under summer conditions, when the algorithms based on light and temperature would give high emission rates.  相似文献

Pedunculate oak (Quercus robur L.) was germinated and grown at ambient CO2 concentration and 650 μmol mol?1 CO2 in the presence and absence of the ectomycorrhizal fungus Laccaria laccata for a total of 22 weeks under nonlimiting nutrient conditions. Sulphate uptake, xylem loading and exudation were analysed in excised roots. Despite a relatively high affinity for sulphate (KM= 1.6 mmol m?3), the rates of sulphate uptake by excised lateral roots of mycorrhizal oak trees were low as compared to herbaceous plants. Rates of sulphate uptake were similar in mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal roots and were not affected by growth of the trees at elevated CO2. However, the total uptake of sulphate per plant was enhanced by elevated CO2 and further enhanced by elevated CO2 and mycorrhization. Sulphate uptake seemed to be closely correlated with biomass accumulation under the conditions applied. The percentage of the sulphate taken up by mycorrhizal oak roots that was loaded into the xylem was an order of magnitude lower than previously observed for herbaceous plants. The rate of xylem loading was enhanced by mycorrhization and, in roots of mycorrhizal trees only, by growth at elevated CO2. On a whole-plant basis this increase in xylem loading could only partially be explained by the increased growth of the trees. Elevated CO2 and mycorrhization appeared to increase greatly the sulphate supply of the shoot at the level of xylem loading. For all treatments, calculated rates of sulphate exudation were significantly lower than the corresponding rates of xylem loading of sulphate. Radiolabelled sulphate loaded into the xylem therefore seems to be readily diluted by unlabelled sulphate during xylem transport. Allocation of reduced sulphur from oak leaves was studied by flap-feeding radiolabelled GSH to mature oak leaves. The rate of export of radioactivity from the fed leaves was 4–5 times higher in mycorrhizal oak trees grown at elevated CO2 than in those grown at ambient CO2. Export of radiolabel proceeded almost exclusively in a basipetal direction to the roots. From these experiments it can be concluded that, in mycorrhizal oak trees grown at elevated CO2, the transport of sulphate to the shoot is increased at the level of xylem loading to enable increased sulphate reduction in the leaves. Increased sulphate reduction seems to be required for the enhanced allocation of reduced sulphur to the roots which is observed in trees grown at elevated CO2. These changes in sulphate and reduced sulphur allocation may be a prerequisite for the positive effect of elevated CO2 on growth of oak trees previously observed.  相似文献
