对废水淤泥的厌氧消化处理过程进行了研究.提出了一种基于神经网络的非模型控制方法。多变量控制系统的操作变量为供热量和进水量.被控变量为消化温度和消化污泥排出浓度。证明了控制算法的收敛性。讨论了控制系统的稳定性。仿真结果证实了非模型控制方法的有效性。该方法无需对象的模型.为复杂生化过程的控制提供了一种新途径。  相似文献

A quick, simple, and reliable method for the extraction of DNA from grapevine species, hybrids, andAmpelopsis brevipedunculata (Vitaceae) has been developed. This method, based on that of Doyle and Doyle (1990), is a CTBA-based extraction procedure modified by the use of NaCl to remove polysaccharides and PVP to eliminate polyphenols during DNA purification. The method has also been used successfully for extraction of total DNA from other fruit species such as apple (Malus domestica), apricot (Prunus armeniaca), cherry (Prunus avium), peach (Prunus persica), plum (Prunus domestica), and raspberry (Rubus idaeus). DNA yield from this procedure is high (up to 1 mg/g of leaf tissue). DNA is completely digestible with restriction endonucleases and amplifiable in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), indicating freedom from common contaminating compounds.  相似文献

Serum arsenic concentrations of persons suffering from renal failure and undergoing hemodialysis treatment (n=85) and of healthy controls (n=25) were determined by hydride-generation AAS technique after microwave digestion. The results were evaluated by comparing the values of both groups, considering physiological factors and individual data, as well as comorbid conditions of the hemodialysis (HD) patients. Serum arsenic levels were diminished in the patient group compared with controls (mean values 8.5±1.8 ng/mL vs 10.6±1.3 ng/mL). Furthermore, additional diseases within the hemodialysis group, particularly injuries of the central nervous system (CNS), vascular diseases, and cancer, were correlated to occasionally markedly decreased serum arsenic concentrations. It was concluded that arsenic homeostasis is disturbed by HD treatment and certain additional diseases. Desirable arsenic concentrations in the body seem to be reasonable. This consideration results in the conclusion that arsenic could play an essential role in human health. Thus, reference arsenic concentrations in different human tissues and body fluids should be established in order to recognize not only arsenic intoxication, but also arsenic deficiency. Perhaps arsenic deficiency contributes to the increased death risk of HD patients, and therefore, arsenic supplementations for patients with extremely low serum arsenic concentrations should be taken into account.  相似文献

Small individuals (<15 cm long) of the clingfish Sicyases sanguineus consume as many as 18 seaweed species in Central Chile. Enteromorpha sp. was the only species able to survive digestion by fish recently collected from the field. Enteromorpha compressa and Gelidium chilense also survived by tissue regeneration when offered as food in the laboratory, but only E. compressa showed stimulation of swarmer production. In general, our results on a vertebrate species reproduce previous findings on diverse invertebrate species. Since fish are highly motile, their capacity to disperse algal species by defecation might be of great ecological importance.  相似文献

Benthic algae survive passage through the digestive tract of different types of grazers, either regenerating new tissues or releasing protoplasts and swarmers which act as accessory means of reproduction to generate new individuals. The ecological importance of this phenomenon is evaluated here by studying spores and fecal pellets. Alga fragments egested alive inside fecal pellets have some ecological advantages over free propagules. In intertidal habitats, the sticky nature of the pellets permits attachment to the substratum while protecting the contained algae from desiccation. In subtidal habitats, the pellets sink 8–22 times faster than the fastest sinking algal propagule. Quantification of swarmers and protoplasts released from algal fragments in the fecal pellets indicates densities of about 217 germlings·cm?2 and values of 300–700 propagules per pellet. Extrapolation of these results to field conditions based on number of grazers and pellets suggest production figures varying from 0.5–3.5 × 105to 1.3–1.5 × 106 propagules·m?2·12 h?1. These values are within known density ranges of settling spores in the field. The ecological significance of the phenomenon may be especially important at seasons when the density of grazers increases and the normal reproductive activity of the algae being consumed decreases.  相似文献

Anaerobic digestion of dissolved, suspended and solid organics has rapidly evolved in the last decades but nevertheless still faces several scientific unknowns. In this review, some fundamentals of bacterial conversions and adhesion are addressed initially. It is argued in the light of G-values of reactions, and in view of the minimum energy quantum per mol, that anaerobic syntrophs must have special survival strategies in order to support their existence: redistributing the available energy between the partners, reduced end-product fermentation reactions and special cell-to-cell physiological interactions. In terms of kinetics, it appears that both reaction rates and residual substrate thresholds are strongly related to minimum G-values. These new fundamental insights open perspectives for efficient design and operation of anaerobic bioprocesses. Subsequently, an overview is given of the current anaerobic biotechnology. For treating wastewaters, a novel and high performance new system has been introduced during the last decade; the upflow anaerobic sludge blanket system (UASB). This reactor concept requires anaerobic consortia to grow in a dense and eco-physiologically well-organized way. The microbial principles of such granular sludge growth are presented. Using a thermodynamic approach, the formation of different types of aggregates is explained. The application of this bioprocess in worldwide wastewater treatment is indicated. Due to the long retention times of the active biomass, the UASB is also suitable for the development of bacterial consortia capable of degrading xenobiotics. Operating granular sludge reactors at high upflow velocities (5–6 m/h) in expanded granular sludge bed (EGSB) systems enlarges the application field to very low strength wastewaters (chemical oxygen demand < 1 g/l) and psychrophilic temperatures (10°C). For the treatment of organic suspensions, there is currently a tendency to evolve from the conventional mesophilic continuously stirred tank system to the thermophilic configuration, as the latter permits higher conversion rates and easier sanitation. Integration of ultrafiltration in anaerobic slurry digestion facilitates operation at higher volumetric loading rates and at shorter residence times. With respect to organic solids, the recent trend in society towards source separated collection of biowaste has opened a broad range of new application areas for solid state anaerobic fermentation.W. Quanttative data on host tick burdens ar fundamental for the initiation of control strategies and effective management of wildlife populations, but the methods of live sampling employed for domestic animals are unsuitable for sampling wild animals. Despite advances in the use of destructive methods (the scrub and digestion techniques) to obtain measures of the total tick burden on wildlife, these methods are too involved for many field workers, who often need only measures of relative tick burden. Recently, patch sampling methods have been introduced whereby only certain predilection sites are sampled, the presumption being that the number of ticks collected gives an indiccation of the relative degree of infestation. We examined the validity of patch sampling as a measure of relative tick burden by comparing adult ticks collected from the ears, head, neck, foreleg and perianal region of impala (aepyceros melampus) with total tick burdens of the same animals derived from the digestion technique. Adult ticks from patch sampling were positively and significantly correlated with total adults and total ticks (larvae, nymphs, and adults) on impala, with ticks patch sampled from the neck showing the highest correlation with the total tick burden. Comparison of relative tick loads from patch sampling with absolute tick loads from digestion for three classes of impala (females, bachelor males and territorial males) gave qualitatively similar results. We conclude that, when measures of relative tick load are sufficient and destructive sampling is not feasible, patch sampling can provide reliable information on relative tick burdens that are positively correlated with the total tick burden.  相似文献

A 450-m(3) multiplate anaerobic reactor (MPAR) has been started-up in April 1992 for treating wastewater (whey permeate and domestic wastewater) at the Nutrinor (Lactel) cheese factory in Chambord (Québec, Canada). The MPAR consists of four superimposed sections. The liquid flows upwards from one section to the next, while the gas is collected below each plate and evacuated through side-outlets. The wastewater is concurrently distributed at the bottom of the first, second, and third sections, as 50%, 33%, and 17% of the total influent stream, respectively. Granular anaerobic sludge at an initial concentration of 30 kg of volatile suspended solids (VSS) per cubic meter of reactor liquid volume was used to inoculate the reactor. Under normal operation of the factory, the chemical oxygen demand (COD) concentration of the influent ranged from 20 to 37 kg COD m(-3). The reactor organic loading rate (OLR) fluctuated between 9 and 14.7 kg COD m(-3) d(-1) for hydraulic retention times (HRT) maintained between 55 and 68 h. At the highest OLR, the MPAR showed an efficiency of 98% and 92% for soluble and total COD removal, respectively, and a methane production rate averaging around 4 m(3) m(-3) d(-1).Biomass-specific activities ranged between 7 and 51, 1.3 and 8.5, 5.3 and 12.2, 60 and 119, and 119 and 211 mmol g(-1) VSS d(-1) for glucose, propionate, acetate, formate, and hydrogen, respectively. Average equivalent-diameter of the granules was around 0.65 mm. The MPAR reactor generally showed a large capacity for solid retention with a biomass content between 32 and 37 kg VSS m(-3).
