透明质酸酶抑制剂是对透明质酸酶的激活有抑制作用的物质。透明质酸酶是透明质酸的特异性裂解酶,而透明质酸在人体许多发育和调控过程中起重要作用,抑制透明质酸酶的活性可使透明质酸不被分解,维持正常的生理功能,笔者对天然产物中透明质酸酶抑制的研究开发进行了概述,并探讨了透明质酸酶抑制在医药及保健食品工业中的应用潜力。  相似文献

依据草地对席子和牧的生理响应,用牧草生理低限(PLL),生理上限(PUL)和再生长期(R期)长度/放牧期(G期)长度的比值(R/G)等指标。构建了放牧草地健康评价的生理阈限双因子法,并以光合作用及其相关参数分析了多年生黑麦草轮牧草地的健康指标。维持草地适宜的双因子生理阈限的R/G比值,旨在放牧后草地功能与健康的完全恢复,是放牧草地可持续经营的目标。  相似文献

Squatter dwellers are found in almost all the Third World countries. Poor living conditions are the characteristic features of all the squatter settlements. Again, poor living conditions are also associated with the health condition of the squatter dwellers. In the present study an attempt has been made to compare and contrast the living condition of two social groups (Hindu and Muslim) inhabiting a squatter settlement in Calcutta, India. The results show that the overall living condition of the Muslim is worse than that of the Hindu. The morbidity pattern is also worse in the Muslim than in the Hindu.  相似文献

Background; findings from the meta-analysis have shown that patients present improvements in glycaemic control, and in the prevention and control of the acute and chronic complications, when they receive effective treatment, self-management support and regular monitoring. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of implementing a health education program on outcomes of type I diabetic patients. Quasi-experimental study design was used to fulfill the aim of the study. The study was conducted in the outpatient diabetic clinic at Asyut University Hospital; 60 adult male and female patients who attended the outpatient diabetic clinic were included. Two tools were used in this study; structured interviewing questionnaire with three parts; part one: demographic patient variables, part two: patient's medical data and part three: patient's knowledge regarding diabetes, the second tool is evaluation of type I diabetic patients' outcomes (pre/post). Results revealed that the highest percentage of the studied samples were in the age group 18 to less than 30 years, 90.0% of the study group and 83.4% of the control group were having a family history of diabetes, a statistically significant difference was found in the study group patients pre and post application of the program regarding insulin injection and glycemic control. Conclusion: this study demonstrated the effectiveness of health education program implementation on the outcomes of type I diabetic patients in terms of improved knowledge and practicing exercise, teeth care, feet care and on glycemic control.  相似文献

Functional foods are closely associated with claims on foods. There are two categories of claims on foods: nutrition claims and health claims. Health claims on (functional) foods must be scientifically substantiated. In December 2006, the European Union published its Regulation 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods. As concerns scientific evaluation, the EU-project PASSCLAIM resulted in a set of criteria for the scientific substantiation of health claims on foods. The European Food Safety Authority provides the scientific advise to the European Commission for health claims submitted under Regulation 1924/2006 and has hitherto published several hundreds of opinions on health claims, part of which are positive, part which are negative and a few with insufficient evidence. Antioxidant claims have been approved for the general function of vitamins but not for direct health effects in humans. Another issue with claims is consumer understanding. Consumers can hardly distinguish between graded levels of evidence, and they do make only little or no distinction between nutrition and health claims. Consumers understand nutrition and health claims different from scientists and regulators. Therefore, innovation in industry can readily proceed via approved nutrition claims and approved health claims. The market and the shelves in the stores will not be empty; rather they will look different in the years to come.  相似文献

Only a month after the outbreak of pneumonia caused by 2019-nCoV, more than forty-thousand people were infected. This put enormous pressure on the Chinese government, medical healthcare provider, and the general public, but also made the international community deeply nervous. On the 25th day after the outbreak, the Chinese government implemented strict traffic restrictions on the area where the 2019-nCoV had originated—Hubei province, whose capital city is Wuhan. Ten days later, the rate of increase of cases in Hubei showed a significant difference (p = 0.0001) compared with the total rate of increase in other provinces of China. These preliminary data suggest the effectiveness of a traffic restriction policy for this pandemic thus far. At the same time, solid financial support and improved research ability, along with network communication technology, also greatly facilitated the application of epidemic prevention measures. These measures were motivated by the need to provide effective treatment of patients, and involved consultation with three major groups in policy formulation—public health experts, the government, and the general public. It was also aided by media and information technology, as well as international cooperation. This experience will provide China and other countries with valuable lessons for quickly coordinating and coping with future public health emergencies.  相似文献

Appropriate solvolysis of 2,3,2',3'-tetra-O-benzyl-4,6,4', 6'-tetra-O-mesyl-alpha,alpha-trehalose gave 2,3,2',3' -tetra-O-benzyl-(alpha-D-galactopyranosyl alpha-D-galactopyranoside) (2). Selective tosylation or mesylation of 2 respectively gave the 6, 6'-ditosylate (3) and 6,6'-dimesylate (4), the structures of which were confirmed by the 1H-n.m.r. spectra of the corresponding 4,4'-di-O-acetyl derivatives. Treatment of 3 with potassium mycolate in toluene, and subsequent hydrogenolysis, gave the 6'-mycolate 6-tosylate derivative. Treatment of 3 with potassium mycolate or potassium corynomycolate in hexamethylphosphoric triamide, followed by catalytic hydrogenolysis, yielded the respective cord-factor analogs 6,6'-di-O-mycoloyl-(alpha-D-galactopyranosyl alpha-D-galactopyranoside) and 6,6'-di-O-corynomycoloyl-(alpha-D-galactopyranosyl alpha-D-galactopyranoside). The same 6,6'-diesters were obtained from the 6,6'-dimesylate 4. Putative 4,6-anhydro-6'-monomycolates are also described.  相似文献

Objective: This study compared self‐reported subjective life expectancy (i.e., probability of living to age 75) for normal‐weight, overweight, and obese weight groups to examine whether individuals are internalizing information about the health risks due to excessive weight. Research Methods and Procedures: Using data from the Health and Retirement Study, a total of 9035 individuals 51 to 61 years old were analyzed by BMI category. The primary outcome measure was individuals’ reports about their own expectations of survival to age 75. Absolute and relative risks of survival were compared with published estimates of survival to age 75. Results: Consistently, higher levels of BMI were associated with lower self‐estimated survival probabilities. Differences relative to normal weight ranged from 4.9% (p < 0.01) for male nonsmokers to 8.8% (p < 0.001) for female nonsmokers. However, these differences were substantially less than those obtained from published survival curve estimates, suggesting that obese individuals tended to underestimate mortality risks. Discussion: Individuals appeared to underestimate the mortality risks of excessive weight; thus, knowledge campaigns about the risks of obesity should remain a top priority.  相似文献
