截形叶螨抗哒螨灵品系和敏感品系体内解毒酶活性的变化   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
【目的】通过对截形叶螨 Tetranychus truncatus Ehara抗哒螨灵品系体内解毒酶活性分析和增效剂与哒螨灵混用的增效作用测定,明确截形叶螨对哒螨灵的抗性动态及抗性机理,获得抗性治理的途径。【方法】采用室内生测法培育截形叶螨抗哒螨灵品系,微量滴度酶标板测定抗性和敏感品系体内解毒酶比活性、米氏常数(Km)及最大反应速度(Vmax),再用增效醚(PBO)、顺丁烯二酸二乙酯(DEM)和磷酸三甲苯酯(TPP)进行增效作用测定。【结果】室内筛选的截形叶螨对哒螨灵产生了抗性,筛选至49代,抗性倍数达到955.25;PBO,TPP和DEM对哒螨灵药剂有不同程度的增效作用,相对增效系数分别为95.97%, 85.14%和97.37%;抗哒螨灵品系体内的羧酸酯酶(CarE)、谷胱甘肽转移酶(GSTs)、多功能氧化酶(MFO)活性较敏感品系显著性提高(P<0.05),酸性磷酸酯酶(ACP)和碱性磷酸酯酶(ALP)的活性与敏感品系差异不大(P>0.05);抗性品系中的CarE,GSTs和MFO 3种解毒酶的米氏常数(Km)下降,最大反应速度(Vmax)高于敏感品系。【结论】截形叶螨对哒螨灵产生抗性可能与其体内CarE,GSTs和MFO 3种解毒酶与底物的亲和力提高和代谢能力增强有关;3种增效剂(PBO, TPP和 DEM)与哒螨灵混用能提高对截形叶螨的毒杀效果。  相似文献

Common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) use complex acoustic behaviours for communication, group cohesion and foraging. Ambient noise from natural and anthropogenic sources has implications for the acoustic behaviour of dolphins, and research shows that average ambient noise levels alter dolphin acoustic behaviour. However, when background noise levels are highly variable, the relationships between noise and acoustic behaviour over short time periods are likely important. This study investigates whether bottlenose dolphins altered the temporal and spectral qualities of their whistles in relation to the ambient noise present at the time the whistles were produced. Dolphin groups were recorded in Tampa Bay (western Florida) between 2008 and 2015. Six whistle parameters were analysed in spectrogram software (minimum frequency, maximum frequency, bandwidth, peak frequency, duration and number of inflection points) and ambient noise levels were calculated immediately prior to each whistle. Linear regression analysis indicated that the minimum, maximum and peak frequencies of whistles had significant positive relationships with the ambient noise levels present at the time of the whistles. These models suggested that for each 1 dB increase in ambient noise, minimum frequency increased by 121 Hz, maximum frequency increased by 108 Hz and peak frequency increased by between 122 and 144 Hz. As ambient noise is typically low frequency, this suggests that bottlenose dolphins increased whistle frequency in response to real-time noise levels to avoid masking. Future research to determine the fitness consequences of noise-induced changes in the communication behaviour of dolphins would be an important contribution to conservation efforts.  相似文献

Compilation of marine mammal demographic data is central to management efforts. However, marine mammal length‐at‐age growth curves demonstrate limitations. Physiological growth parameters of terrestrial mammals are typically estimated using curvilinear models fit to size‐at‐age data along a time series from conception to senescence. The difficulty of collecting and aging prenatal cetaceans is addressed here, and growth parameters of common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) along coastal Texas were estimated using length‐at‐age information from a broader scope of age classes, including late‐term fetuses. A Gompertz growth curve fit to pre‐ and postnatal data underestimated size parameters, but demonstrated similar growth rate constants (k) to an exclusively postnatal model. However, when growth parameters were broken out, the absolute growth rate (G) and rate of growth decay (g) decreased (0.44 from 0.27 and 0.55 from 0.39, respectively), which underscores the importance of reporting k in its expanded form (G/g). Although the Gompertz fits most age classes well, it cannot explain growth in all age classes. We argue that a novel sigmoidal model would be more useful for inference.  相似文献

The mother-infant bond in bottlenose dolphins is critical to infant survival and has been reported to last from 3-10 years in both captive and wild populations. Little information on mother-infant communication during early development has been collected. This paper reports on a newly discovered dolphin vocalization, termed thunk, which is predominantly used by mothers toward infants. Four mother-infant pairs and one aunt-infant pair were the subjects for this study. Methods included a focal animal sampling technique using 2.5 min interval and event/continuous sampling regimes on audio- or videotape. Results indicated that thunks are produced by mothers or aunting females during infant departures (distances greater than 5 feet) and are frequently followed by disciplinary activity by the mother or aunt. In addition, thunks appeared to cease at approximately 9-10 months after birth, concurrent with a decrease in infant dependence. Thunks also were analyzed acoustically for frequency and duration parameters. Thunks have a harmonic structure with an energy peak in the 273–350 Hz range and ranged from 129–5,556 Hz in frequency and from 21–171 ms in duration. They appear to function as aggressive contact vocalizations produced by mothers and other adult females toward infants in order to maintain infant proximity. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

A bottlenose dolphin community was studied from small inflatable craft from 1987 to 1994 in a relatively large area (about 800 km2) east of the islands of Loˇsinj and Cres, northern Adriatic Sea. A total of 106 individuals were photoidentified based on natural permanent marks on their dorsal fins. Most of the dolphins were resighted on a regular basis, indicating a high level of year-round site fidelity, although their range was evidently greater than the chosen study area. Dolphin density was highly variable and considerably lower than for most well-known bottlenose dolphin communities. Groups averaged seven individuals, with a mode of two. Groups entirely composed of adults were the smallest, groups with calves the largest. Group fluidity was high, seasonal and yearly changes in mean group size being also considerable. Summer was the peak calving season, with a striking variation in the number of births on alternate years. Poor evidence of shark predation was found. The social organization of this dolphin community seemed to be highly flexible, possibly as an adaptation to cope with environmental changes as well as with a limited and variable availability of prey.  相似文献

The social structure of coastal ecotype bottlenose dolphins, Tursiops truncatus , is largely unknown as they inhabit regions far from shore. This study reports on a community of bottlenose dolphins ≥ 27 km from Grand Bahama Island (May-September, 1993–2002). Resident and non-resident dolphins occurred in the area. Some dolphins traveled over 320 km between communities; others showed long- term site fidelity up to 17 yr. Average group size was 3–5, and was significantly larger with calves present and significantly smaller when traveling. The half-weight index was used to determine coefficients of association (COA) for individuals of known sex annually and for pooled years. Permutation tests revealed non-random associations and presence of preferred/avoided companions in all data sets. Annual COAs were low: female-female χ= 0.31, male-male χ= 0.30, and mixed-sex χ= 0.26. Mother-calf associations showed the highest values. Some males formed strong, long-term bonds. Female COAs fluctuated with reproductive status. Using pooled data, COAs were lower and the same basic trends were evident. However, strong associations seen in the annual data were not evident in pooled data. Bottlenose dolphins that inhabit offshore, shallow water show many of the same social structure characteristics as in well-studied coastal populations.  相似文献

The Gulf of Ambracia, in northwestern Greece, hosts a highly threatened community of about 150 common bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus). Until now, information on their feeding habits was derived exclusively from fish scale samples collected during surface-feeding events targeting small schooling epipelagic fish. The aim of this study was to determine the diet of bottlenose dolphins living in the Gulf of Ambracia through the application of Bayesian isotopic mixing models. Skin biopsy samples of 16 dolphins were analyzed and no difference related to sex or age-class was found in δ13C and δ15N values. Results suggested that the dolphin diet was mainly based on Trachurus trachurus, species belonging to the family Sparidae: Diplodus annularis, Lithognathus mormyrus, and Sepia officinalis, which represented together about 42% ± 15% of the biomass ingested, followed by species belonging to the order Clupeiformes (Engraulis encrasicolus, Sardinella aurita, and Sardina pilchardus) and the genus Gobius (37% ± 17%). A better understanding of the feeding habits of these dolphins sheds light on the feeding ecology of this highly threatened population by, for instance, evidencing interactions with artisanal fisheries sharing the same target species, and is key for identifying adequate management measures consistent with an ecosystem-based approach.  相似文献

The diurnal behavior of a bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) community was observed from small inflatable craft between 1987 and 1994. Following a preliminary ad libitum study 11,839 3-min behavioral samples were recorded in 1991-1994. The behavioral budget showed a predominance (about 80%) of activities characterized by long (>30 sec) dives, considered to be largely related to prey search or feeding. Obvious foraging near the surface was observed rarely. The frequent following of trawlers (accounting for 4.6% of the behavioral budget) was indicative of the presence of alternative strategies for finding food. Yearly and seasonal behavioral variation-particularly in feeding-related and travel behaviors-was consistent with the hypothesis of behavioral flexibility as a response to environmental changes and fluctuating prey kind and availability. Yearly shifts in social behavior appeared to be partly influenced by breeding cycles. Groups engaged in feeding-related activities were significantly smaller than traveling or socializing groups, and dramatic interannual group-size shifts seemed to be largely affected by environmental variables, rather than being entirely determined by behavioral activity changes. The remarkable behavioral flexibility of this bottlenose dolphin community may contribute to its survival in the shifting environmental conditions of the northern Adriatic Sea. However, the high proportion of time consistently devoted to feeding-related activities, as compared to other areas, suggests that food resources in the Kvarneri? were not only highly variable but also depleted.  相似文献

Some physical and biological characteristics of marsh microhabitats of the pulmonate snails Lymnaea tamentosa (Pfeiffer) and L. columella (Say), intermediate hosts of Fasciola hepatica in New Zealand, are compared by path analysis. The most significant variable suggested by the various path coefficients is the relative importance of flocculence of mud in the substratum. L. tomentosa was more likely to be found in or on flocculent mud, whereas L. columella appeared to prefer firm mud. Submersion of the substratum was of more direct importance to L. columella than to L. tomentosa; the effect of water on L. tomentosa was mainly indirect, since wetter microhabitats were more likely to contain flocculent mud. Results of an experiment simulating pugging of the muddy substratum by cattle suggest that both snail species are likely to be more numerous in habitats heavily pugged by cattle.  相似文献
