随着低温电子显微镜、X射线晶体衍射等技术的发展以及有关核糖体各组分结构数据的增多,高分辨率的E.coli核糖体模型已经被建立.对该模型作了概要介绍,包括了对mRNA通道,A、P位点tRNA,肽基转位酶,肽通道等在核糖体中的定位以及它们与核糖体的相互作用.有助于提高对核糖体结构、功能、及翻译过程的理解.  相似文献

Summary Females homozygous for a newly isolated mutation induced by ethyl methane sulphonate,fs(1)K10, lay abnormally shaped eggs in which the dorsal appendages of the chorion are enlarged and fused ventrally. The eggs are usually not fertilized and development is never normal beyond the blastoderm stage. The mutant was mapped to the tip of the X-chromosome with a meiotic position of 1–0.5 and a cytological location between 2B17 and 3A3. Using germ line mosaics constructed by transplantation of pole cells, it was shown that the abnormal morphology and the sterility are obtained only when the germ line is homozygous for the mutant.  相似文献

Because of education reform policy and misconceptions about artistry and artistic assessment, visual art education remains in the margins of high school education. One response to the lack of supportive arts education policy is the Advanced Placement (AP) Studio Art Program, a visual arts assessment at the high school level that engages large numbers of students in rigorous art experiences. This article reviews the structure and characteristics of the AP portfolio assessment as a basis for critique and policy analysis. At issue are the reliability of this assessment's measurements and its level of credibility with key constituencies. These concerns are especially relevant in a testing culture in which objective evaluations are highly regarded and art education programs are often threatened. The authors suggest possibilities for future research and policy recommendations for secondary art education.  相似文献

In this paper, a numerical procedure to determine an optimal applicator placement for hepatic radiofrequency ablation incorporating uncertain material parameters is presented. The main focus is set on the treatment of subjective and rare data-based information. For this purpose, we employ the theory of fuzzy sets and model uncertain parameters as fuzzy quantities. While fuzzy modelling has been established in structural engineering in the recent past, it is novel in biomedical engineering. Incorporating fuzzy quantities within an optimisation task is basically innovative. In our context, fuzzy modelling allows us to determine an optimal applicator placement that maximises the therapy success under the given uncertainty conditions. The applicability of our method is demonstrated by means of an example case.  相似文献

为了探明不同稻菜邻作模式对稻区内主要害虫及其捕食性天敌的影响,对水稻-白瓜、水稻-番茄、水稻-玉米、水稻-苋菜、水稻-菜心和水稻-菠菜等6种稻菜邻作模式下稻区内稻纵卷叶螟、稻飞虱及食虫沟瘤蛛、拟水狼蛛、拟环纹狼蛛、蛸蟏和稻红瓢虫的发生动态及其种群消长规律进行了研究。结果表明:6种稻菜邻作模式均可以显著降低稻纵卷叶螟和稻飞虱数量;早稻生长期,水稻与白瓜和番茄邻作模式下,稻纵卷叶螟蛾量、虫卵量和稻飞虱数量最大降幅分别达84.3%、38.9%和24.3%;晚稻生长期,水稻与苋菜和菜心邻作模式下,稻纵卷叶螟蛾量、虫卵量和稻飞虱数量最大降幅分别达79.5%、49.8%和13.4%;水稻-白瓜和水稻-菜心邻作模式还可以显著增加捕食性天敌数量。因此,水稻-白瓜和水稻-菜心邻作模式最能发挥稻田控害保益功能。  相似文献

Bipolar mitotic spindle organization is fundamental to faithful chromosome segregation. Furry (Fry) is an evolutionarily conserved protein implicated in cell division and morphology. In human cells, Fry localizes to centrosomes and spindle microtubules in early mitosis, and depletion of Fry causes multipolar spindle formation. However, it remains unknown how Fry controls bipolar spindle organization. This study demonstrates that Fry binds to polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1) through the polo-box domain of Plk1 in a manner dependent on the cyclin-dependent kinase 1-mediated Fry phosphorylation at Thr-2516. Fry also binds to Aurora A and promotes Plk1 activity by binding to the polo-box domain of Plk1 and by facilitating Aurora A-mediated Plk1 phosphorylation at Thr-210. Depletion of Fry causes centrosome and centriole splitting in mitotic spindles and reduces the kinase activity of Plk1 in mitotic cells and the accumulation of Thr-210-phosphorylated Plk1 at the spindle poles. Our results suggest that Fry plays a crucial role in the structural integrity of mitotic centrosomes and in the maintenance of spindle bipolarity by promoting Plk1 activity at the spindle poles in early mitosis.  相似文献

蚬木属(Excentrodendron H.T.Chang & R.H.Miau)与柄翅果属(Burretiodendron Rehder)的分离一直未得到广泛认同,二者在锦葵目中的系统地位也还不十分清楚.本文研究了柄翅果、元江柄翅果、滇桐和火绳树的木材解剖.柄翅果和元江柄翅果在木材解剖特征上非常相似,2~3个管孔组成径列复管孔,单管孔较多,导管分子无螺纹加厚,穿孔板单一,轴向薄壁组织稀少,射线异型IIB,单列射线少,多列射线常2~3列,具翅子树属型瓦形细胞;蚬木属单列射线罕见,瓦形细胞榴莲型,单列射线较高,木材解剖特征支持蚬木属和柄翅果属的分离;蚬木属和柄翅果属与滇桐属在木材解剖特征上差异显著,与火绳树属的差异也较明显,但与梧桐科翅子树属比较接近,与其它有关类群,如一担柴属、Luehea、Entelea以及Dombeyeae族等都有明显差异.  相似文献

Aims When sympatric flowering plant species in a natural community share pollinators, study of plant–plant interactions via interspecific pollen transfer (IPT) is essential for understanding species coexistence. However, little is known about the extent of IPT between interactive species and its causes.Methods To explore how sympatric flowering plants sharing pollinators minimize deleterious effects of IPT, we investigated the pollination ecology of two endemic species, Salvia przewalskii and Delphinium yuanum, in an alpine meadow in the Hengduan Mountains, southwest China. We quantified conspecific and interspecific visits by shared bumblebee pollinators, amounts of pollen placed on different body sites of the pollinators and stigmatic pollen loads on open-pollinated flowers. To examine whether IPT affects female fitness, we measured pollen germination and seed production in the two species in an artificial pollination experiment.Important findings One bumblebee species, Bombus trifasciatus, was found to be the sole effective pollinator for the two coflowering species. Pollination experiments indicated that deposition of heterospecific pollen could significantly decrease seed set in both species. Experiments showed that S. przewalskii pollen could germinate well on stigmas of D. yuanum, inhibiting conspecific pollen germination in D. yuanum. However, seed set was not lower under open pollination than under cross-pollination within species, suggesting that no female fitness loss was caused by IPT. In foraging bouts with pollinator switches, switches from S. przewalskii to D. yuanum were relatively more frequent (8.27%) than the converse (1.72%). However, IPT from S. przewalskii to D. yuanum accounted for only 1.82% of total stigmatic pollen loads while the reverse IPT to S. przewalskii was 8.70%, indicating that more switches of bumblebees to D. yuanum did not result in higher IPT. By contrast, selection for reduced IPT to S. przewalskii would limit pollinator switches from D. yuanum. We found that a bumblebee generally carried pollen grains from both species but the two species differed in the position of pollen placement on the bumblebee's body; S. przewalskii ' s pollen was concentrated on the dorsal thorax while D. yuanum ' s pollen was concentrated ventrally on the head. This differential pollen placement along with pollinator fidelity largely reduced IPT between the two species with a shared pollinator.  相似文献

为解决台闽苣苔族(Titanotricheae)这一单种族的科级系统位置,通过扫描电镜观察了台闽苣苔( Titanotrichum oldhamii (Hemsl.) Solereder)植物的种子发芽和幼苗发育过程.随着下胚轴的向下伸长,两个子叶开始不明显的异率生长,其中一片子叶略大于另一片子叶.但两片子叶均正常发育并位于同一高度.当真叶发出后,两片子叶几乎等大,并且两个子叶柄等长.在幼苗生长期间,随着子叶的生长,胚芽也正常萌发出茎的顶芽.顶芽持续进行顶端生长产生交互对生的真叶.这一幼苗生长式样和苦苣苔亚科其他类群的仅一片子叶发育与胚芽被抑制的幼苗生长式样有明显区别.考虑到台闽苣苔植物在总状花序的上部大量簇生无性珠芽,并落地迅速生长出新的植株这一在苦苣苔科中独特的无性繁殖方式及相关性状,台闽苣苔族可能较早地从苦苣苔亚科中分化出来,并在繁殖体的功能进化方面和其他类群发生歧化进而获得独特的无性繁殖方式.台闽苣苔族在系统发育上应该被认为是其他苦苣苔亚科类群的姊妹群,应当提升为亚科等级.  相似文献
