Electrical alternans, a beat-to-beat alternation in the electrocardiogram or electrogram, is frequently seen during the first few minutes of acute myocardial ischemia, and is often immediately followed by malignant cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation. As ischemia progresses, higher-order periodic rhythms (e.g., period-4) can replace the period-2 alternans rhythm. This is also seen in modelling work on a two-dimensional (2-D) sheet of regionally ischemic ventricular muscle. In addition, in the experimental work, ventricular arrhythmias are overwhelmingly seen only after the higher-order rhythms arise. We investigate an ionic model of a strand of ischemic ventricular muscle, constructed as a 3-cm-long 1-D cable with a centrally located 1-cm-long segment exposed to an elevated extracellular potassium concentration ([K(+)](o)). As [K(+)](o) is raised in this "ischemic segment" to represent one major effect of ongoing ischemia, the sequence of rhythms {1:1-->2:2 (alternans)-->2:1} is seen. With further increase in [K(+)](o), one sees higher-order periodic 2N:M rhythms {2:1-->4:2-->4:1-->6:2-->6:1-->8:2-->8:1}. In a 2N:M cycle, only M of the 2N action potentials generated at the proximal end of the cable successfully traverse the ischemic segment, with the remaining ones being blocked within the ischemic segment. Finally, there is a transition to complete block {8:1-->2:0-->1:0} (in an n:0 rhythm, all action potentials die out within the ischemic segment). Changing the length of the ischemic segment results in different rhythms and transitions being seen: e.g., when the ischemic segment is 2 cm long, the period-6 rhythms are not seen; when it is 0.5 cm long, there is a 3:1 rhythm interposed between the 2:1 and 1:0 rhythms. We discuss the relevance of our results to the experimental observations on the higher-order rhythms that presage reentrant ischemic ventricular arrhythmias.  相似文献

目的:阐述风险预判与主动干预的综合防控措施对综合重症监护病房(GICU)患者多重耐药菌(MDRO)医院感染的防控效果。方法:对2018年1月~2019年12月入住GICU病房(分为A、B两个病区)>48 h的737例患者进行回顾性调查,其中A病区监测患者286例,MDRO防控参照院感科常规制度要求;B病区监测患者451例,MDRO防控采用入GICU时预判患者感染风险,再根据感染风险及患者自身状况对患者采取鼻腔去定植或肠道去定植的综合防控策略。用卡方检验比较两病区患者的感染结果与MDRO感染菌种分布情况,以验证不同防控策略的效果。结果:本研究共监测GICU住院患者737例,研究期间共发生MDRO医院感染85例。其中A病区监测患者286例,MDRO医院感染66例,感染率为23.1%;B病区监测患者451例,MDRO医院感染19例,感染率为4.2%,低于A病区(P<0.001)。单菌种感染结果显示,两病区感染菌种分布存在差异,CR-AB、CR-PA和MASR的感染率都为B病区低于A病区,两病区患者的共患病类型无差异。说明B病区MDRO防控效果优于A病区。结论:感染风险预判与主动干预的综合防控策略,有利于降低GICU患者MDRO医院感染发病率。  相似文献

目的:用可视化编程技术实现胎儿心电信号提取和分析。方法:获取受试者仰卧位的腹部平行放置的两对电极的二道心电信号;在Windows系统下,用Delphi嵌入汇编技术实现对模/数采样卡的低层I/O操作;用自适应干扰对消技术提取胎儿心电信号。结果和结论:计算机仿真结果表明,该方法的能获取较清晰的胎儿心电信号。讨论:①基于Windows开发的系统具有较好的交互性和移植性,②获得胎儿心电后可用我们巳开发的成熟技术实现对胎儿心动周期信号的混沌特征分析,以估计胎儿自主神经系统功能。  相似文献

Energetics of the populations of three isopods, Armadillidium vulgare, Porcellio scaber and Ligidium japonicum were studied in a warm-temperate evergreen broadleaved forest of Mt. Kiyosumi in central Japan. The study deals with age composition, survivorship curves, relations of body size to number of eggs or young, and mean growth curves of the populations. Respiratory rates, calorific values and food consumptions of the individual animals were determined in the laboratory. Population density of A. vulgare was highest of the three species, being about 350/m2 in June 1966. The survivorship curve of the L. japonicum population was more close to L-type than the others. Average total biomass for populations of A. vulgare, P. scaber and L. japonicum were 3.3 kcal/m2, 0.67 kcal and 0.43 kcal on the monthly basis, respectively. The energy of 35.2 kcal/m2 was estimated to be assimilated by the A. vulgare population, 7.84 kcal by P. scaber and 6.91 kcal by L. japonicum during the period from October 1965 to September 1966. The relations between assimilation A and production P for fish, grasshopper and isopod populations were found to be expressed as A=aPb. The values of the constant a for the fish, grasshopper and isopod populations seem to be in the range from 10 to 25, from 2 to 7 and from 4 to 8, respectively. Production efficiencies presented as P/A of A. vulgare, P. scaber and L. japonicum populations were estimated as 19.1%, 15.3% and 13.1%, respectively. The ecological efficiency represented as M/C of these isopod populations was estimated to be in the range from 7.6% to 11. 2%. Reproduction efficiency (Rp/P) of L. japonicum population was 20%, being the highest value of the three isopod species. This may be related to the L-type survivorship curve of L. japonicum population. Reproduction efficiency, relating closely to the age structure of the population, is important in the investigation of populations of animals, particularly those that have long life span.  相似文献

Two species of tortoise beetles, Aspidomorpha miliaris (AM) and A. sanctaecrucis (AS) feeding on a shrub-like morning glory, Ipomoea carnea, were reared under laboratory conditions to study their survivorship and fertility schedules. AM and AS required 34–39 days and 30–37, respectively, for the development of the immature stages. The mean longevity of the males was 88.4 days in AM and 63.8 in AS, and that of females was 87.9 days in AM and 83.3 in AS. The mean length of the pre-reproductive period (27.2 days in AM and 33.8 in AS) was much longer than that of the post-reproductive period (10.9 days in AM and 14.3 in AS). Females laid eggs at a nearly constant rate throughout their reproductive period. The reproductive value Vx/V0 of the two species remained high for most of their adult life, as a result of prolonged survivorship and fertility periods. The total number of eggs produced per female was 442.9 (AM) and 80.1 (AS). The intrinsic rate of natural increase r was 0.070 (AM) and 0.044 (AS) per capita per day. The prolonged reproductive schedules, coupled with strong dispersal power, of these species no doubt have an adaptive value for living in highly disturbed tropical environments, where rainfall is ample but unpredictable and food resources are available throughout the year in a wide area, but distributed in widely flung patches.  相似文献

Circadian rhythms are fundamental biological phenomena generated by molecular genetic mechanisms known as circadian clocks. There is increasing evidence that circadian synchronization of physiological and cellular processes contribute to the wellness of organisms, curbing pathologies such as cancer and premature aging. Therefore, there is a need to understand how circadian clocks orchestrate interactions between the organism’s internal processes and the environment. Here, we explore the nexus between the clock and oxidative stress susceptibility in Drosophila melanogaster. We exposed flies to acute oxidative stress induced by hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), and determined that mortality rates were dependent on time at which exposure occurred during the day/night cycle. The daily susceptibility rhythm was abolished in flies with a null mutation in the core clock gene period (per) abrogating clock function. Furthermore, lack of per increased susceptibility to H2O2 compared to wild-type flies, coinciding with enhanced generation of mitochondrial H2O2 and decreased catalase activity due to oxidative damage. Taken together, our data suggest that the circadian clock gene period is essential for maintaining a robust anti-oxidative defense.  相似文献

本文通过对郑州东赵遗址2013~2014年度考古发掘采集土样的浮选分析,获取了该遗址新砦、二里头、二里岗三个不同时期丰富的炭化植物遗存,其中炭化植物种子主要包括粟、黍、水稻、小麦和大豆五种农作物以及狗尾草属、稗属和马唐属等不同种属的杂草种子等。对遗址不同阶段炭化农作物及典型田间杂草遗存的量化分析结果显示,东赵遗址自新砦期至二里岗期的农业生产始终保持着以种植粟、黍为主的特点,大豆是该遗址先民稳定的食物来源之一,而水稻在整个农业经济结构中的比重一直很低。值得注意的是,从新砦期至二里岗期,粟、黍两种旱地作物在东赵遗址农业经济中的比重不断上升,而先民的旱地田间管理技术也随之取得了明显的进步。小麦的种植始于遗址二里头文化期,至二里岗期时迅速发展,成为当时先民重要的农作物品种之一。东赵遗址炭化植物遗存分析结果为了解夏代早期至商代前期中原核心区域农业经济的特点及其发展过程提供了重要资料,对探索中国国家起源与早期发展阶段农业经济技术发展状况及其与文明演进的关系有重要意义。  相似文献

Yet extensive temporal restructuring of behavior can occur without participation of the suprachiasmatic nucleus.
