In this study, the effect of crocin and safranal was studied against subacute toxicity of diazinon (DZN) on hematological and genotoxicity indices in rats. The rats were divided into 16 groups consisted of 6 rats in control, diazinon, vitamin E, vitamin E and DZN, crocin (3 doses), crocin (3 doses) and DZN, safranal (3 doses), safranal (3 doses) and DZN groups. Vitamin E (200 IU/kg), safranal at doses 0.025, 0.05 and 0.1 ml/kg and crocin at doses 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg were injected intraperitoneally to rats three times per week alone or with DZN (20 mg/kg/day, orally) for 4 weeks. Hematological parameters were evaluated at the end of 4 weeks. The evaluation of genotoxicity was done using the micronucleus assay. Vitamin E and, at lower doses, safranal (0.025 and 0.05 ml/kg) and crocin (50 mg/kg) restored the reduction of red blood cell, hemoglobin and hematocrit indices induced by DZN. These agents at some doses also prevented the reduction in platelets counts indices in diazinon treated group. A significant increase in reticulocyte was induced by diazinon. Vitamin E, safranal (0.025 or 0.05 ml/kg) and all doses of crocin decreased this effect of diazinon. In all doses vitamin E, crocin and safranal did not inhibit the effect of diazinon on RBC cholinesterase activity. A significant increase in micronucleus indices was seen with diazinon. Vitamin E, safranal and crocin could not prevent this genotoxicity. This study showed that vitamin E, safranal and crocin (without effects on cholinesterase) reduced diazinon hematological toxicity, but they did not prevent the genotoxicity induced by diazinon. 相似文献

Abstract Liriomyza trifolii is an important pest of vegetables and ornamental crops around the world. This pest is attacked by many parasitoid species. The principal management tactic used against L. trifolii is insecticide application. Insecticides vary in their effects on parasitoid species and insecticides that have less harmful effects should be preferred for the control of this pest. In this study, novaluron, abamectin, λ‐cyhalothrin and spinetoram were investigated for their lethal effects on adults of Neochrysocharis formosa and Ganaspidium nigrimanus, two important parasitoids of L. trifolii. Three different bioassays were used on adult parasitoids: direct insecticide application, insecticide intake and insecticide residue. Adult parasitoid response to novaluron exhibited the least lethal effects among the bioassays and insecticides tested. Abamectin had significant mortality to both parasitoid species in the direct application and insecticide intake bioassays and mortality were high for G. nigrimanus in the residue bioassay. Spinetoram was the most harmful insecticide to the adult parasitoids in all three bioassays. λ‐cyhalothrin effects varied between the two parasitoids. In the direct application, it was harmful to G. nigrimanus and had no effect on N. formosa. In the insecticide intake bioassay λ‐cyhalothrin had no effect in survival of either species, and in the residue bioassay it reduced parasitoid survival of both species. 为了科学施药, 合理保护和利用天敌对棉铃虫Helicoverpa armigera进行综合防治, 本研究在室内测定和比较了复配杀虫剂BtA和7种常用杀虫剂(阿维菌素、 Bt、 β-氯氰菊酯、辛硫磷、定虫隆、氰戊菊酯和丁硫克百威)对棉铃虫的杀虫效果及对其天敌中红侧沟茧蜂Microplitis mediator蛹和雌成虫的触杀毒性。采用浸叶法测定杀虫剂在室内72 h内对棉铃虫3龄幼虫的杀虫效果, 结果表明: 与其他杀虫剂相比, BtA对棉铃虫幼虫具有更高的毒性和致死效应 (LC50=0.7364 mg/mL)。将棉铃虫3龄幼虫接到用浓度4 mg/mL上述杀虫剂分别处理过的大白菜上24, 48和72 h, 发现其死亡率之间存在显著差异(P≤0.05)。但在72 h后, BtA和其他杀虫剂对棉铃虫幼虫的杀虫效果之间并无显著差异(P>0.05)。BtA施药后, 随着时间的延长, 棉铃虫幼虫的死亡率也在增加。另外, 通过杀虫剂对寄生蜂中红侧沟茧蜂蛹和雌成虫的触杀毒性的生物测定发现: 与β-氯氰菊酯、 氰戊菊酯和丁硫克百威相比, BtA对中红侧沟茧蜂蛹和雌成虫的毒性较低, 对其蛹和雌成虫致死率分别仅为13.82%和7.33%。本研究证明BtA对鳞翅目害虫具有中等毒性, 而对寄生蜂中红侧沟茧蜂则具有较低毒性。 相似文献

测定了阿维菌素、灭蝇胺、杀虫单、毒死蜱、灭多威、顺式氯氰菊酯6种杀虫剂对南美斑潜蝇2龄幼虫、成虫及其寄生蜂潜蝇茧蜂的室内毒力,并考察了灭蝇胺、阿维菌素和杀虫单对南美斑潜蝇的田间防效。在所研究浓度下,阿维菌素、灭蝇胺对2龄幼虫的毒力较高,但对南美斑潜蝇成虫和潜蝇茧蜂的毒力较低;杀虫单对南美斑潜蝇成虫、2龄幼虫和潜蝇茧蜂的毒力均较高;毒死蜱、灭多威、顺式氯氰菊酯对南美斑潜蝇2龄幼虫的毒力较低,而对潜蝇茧蜂的毒力较高。田间条件下,灭蝇胺、阿维菌素和杀虫单都对田间南美斑潜蝇具有较高防效。 相似文献

Tri-ortho-cresyl phosphate (TOCP) can cause a type of neurotoxicity known as organophosphate-induced delayed neuropathy (OPIDN). The characteristic axonal swelling containing aggregations of neurofilaments, microtubules, and multivesicular vesicles is consistent with a disturbance of axonal transport. We hypothesized that there existed a disturbance of molecular motor in the pathogenesis of OPIDN. In the present study, adult hens were treated with a dosage of 750 mg/kg TOCP by gavage, or pretreated 24h earlier with phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride (PMSF) and subsequently with TOCP, then sacrificed on the time-points of 0, 1, 5, 10, and 21 days after dosing of TOCP, respectively. The level of kinesin-1, dynein, and dynactin in spinal cords and cerebral cortexes of hens was determined. Immunoblotting analysis showed a progressive decline of dynein and dynactin in spinal cords after dosing TOCP. Furthermore, a significant reduction in dynactin and dynein was observed in cerebral cortexes at several time-points post dosing TOCP. In contrast, no significant changes of kinesin-1 were observed throughout the period of experiment. When given before TOCP administration, PMSF could inhibit TOCP-induced motor protein disruption, while it protected hens against the delayed neuropathy. In conclusion, the reduction of the motor proteins, dynein and dynactin, might be associated with the disruption of retrograde neuronal axonal transport in OPIDN. 相似文献

ABSTRACT:?The demand for natural and nonpersistent insecticides is increasing day by day. Plant cell cultures could be an alternative to conventional methods of production of insecticides from field-grown plants. In vitro cultured plant cells produce a wide array of insecticides as a part of their secondary metabolism. Their ability to synthesize key enzymes and the manipulation of these could lead to the enhanced production of many insecticides of industrial importance. The development of a high-yielding hairy root culture system for thiophenes, nicotine, and phytoecdysones is of considerable interest. In this article, the current literature on various factors that influence the growth, production, and secretion of six insecticidal compounds, namely, pyrethrins, azadirachtin, thiophenes, nicotine, rotenoids, and phytoecdysones which have been prospects for the scale-up of cell cultures, genetic engineering to obtain transgenic plants, and metabolically engineered plants for increased production of bio-molecules, has been discussed. Botanical insecticides investigation led to 21 compounds from the bark of Juglans mandshurica Maxim., in which, compounds 4, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15 were isolated from Juglans genus for the first time. The inhibitory effect of dihydrokaempferol (6), naringenin (7) and rhoiptelol C (18) on phenol oxidase (PO) are 5–10 times more than arbutin, a well-known tyrosinase inhibitor.
