Auxin transport at least correlates to the three gene families: efflux carriers PIN-formed (PIN), p-glycoprotein (PGP), and influx carrier auxin resistant 1/like aux1(AUX/LAX) in Arabidopsis thaliana. In monocotyledon Sorghum bicolor, the biological function of these genes retains unclear. Our previous study reported that the member analysis, organ-specific expression and expression profiles of the auxin transporter PIN, PGP and AUX/LAX gene families in Sorghum bicolor under IAA, brassinosteroid, polar auxin transport inhibitors and abiotic stresses. Here we further supply the prediction of subcellular localization of SbPIN, SbLAX and SbPGP proteins and discuss the potential relationship between the subcellular localization and stress response. The predicted results showed that the most of SbPIN, SbLAX and SbPGP proteins are localized to the plasma membrane, except few localized to vacuolar membrane and endoplasmic reticulum. This data set provides novel information for investigation of auxin transporters in Sorghum bicolor.  相似文献

肉桂酸羟化酶(C4H)是苯丙烷代谢通路的关键酶,其活性和含量直接影响木质素合成的效率。本文研究通过高粱bmr突变体的抑制差减杂交筛选、克隆到了一个C4H基因sbC4H。半定量RT-PCR发现,SbC4H1在多个bmr突变体中上调表达。将SbC4H1-GFP融合基因转化拟南芥原生质体进行瞬时表达,发现SbC4H1表达产物蛋白定位于细胞质。SbC4H1在拟南芥中的异源表达明显降低其茎的木质素含量,并且下调了拟南芥4CL1、FSH和HCT质素合成基因的表达。这些结果表明,高粱SbC4H1抑制了拟南芥木质素的合成。  相似文献

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate growth, lipid peroxidation, and activity of antioxidative enzymes in sorghum seedlings grown under salt stress from artificially aged and primed seeds. The experimental design was completely randomized, with four replications per treatment, in a 2×2×2 factorial arrangement that consisted of eight treatments: two seed vigor levels (aged or not), two seed types (primed or not), and two salinity levels (0 and 100 mM NaCl). In low physiological quality (aged) seeds, the osmoconditioning mitigated the salinity negative effects (NaCl at 100 mM) on seedling growth. The results suggest that osmoconditioning induced an increase in catalase (CAT) and guaiacol peroxidase (POX) activities and these enzymes protected the seedlings against oxidative damage caused by seed accelerated aging and salinity in nutrient solutions. Finally, the observed behavior for superoxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) activities suggest that changes in these enzymes in both shoot and roots could do not be induced by studied treatments, because the changes in these organs are unrelated to each other.  相似文献

Summary

Sorghum bicolor L. (cv. Tegemeo) seedlings were grown for nine days in soil at field capacity packed to give a uniform penetration resistance (PR) of either 0.25, 1.00 or 1.75 MPa. Root biomass was not significantly affected by soil PR treatment. However, as PR increased to 1.75 MPa, the diameter of the seminal root axis increased by 52% whilst its length decreased by 30%. Shoot growth, in terms of oven dry (OD) weight and photo-synthetic area, was reduced in both the 0.25 MPa and 1.75 MPa treatments compared to the 1.00 MPa treatment. A reduced nutrient, water or oxygen supply to the roots were discounted as possible causes of the root and shoot responses to soil PR. It is suggested that the changes in root morphology between treatments were a direct result of the changes in soil PR. For shoot growth, in the 0.25 MPa treatment it is suggested that shoot growth was reduced as a result of an increase in the carbon sink strength of the roots.  相似文献

应用GENALEX6.502、ARLEQUINversion3.5、STRUCTUREv2.3.4、STRUCTURE Harvester、CLUMP和Distruct等软件进行遗传参数估算、主成分分析、遗传变异分析及遗传结构分析。在这项研究中,我们系统地从分布在中国黄河三角洲的12个二色补血草居群中采集到202份个体。我们通过使用共显性的微卫星标记探索微地理遗传结构,旨在解决黄河三角洲二色补血草居群结构和动态问题。结果表明:二色补血草呈中等程度的遗传分化,遗传变异主要存在于居群内,微弱的遗传分化存在于居群间,为(FST=0.067)。香农信息指数平均是1.037,基因流平均是4.106,观测杂合度和期望杂合度平均值分别是0.43和0.529。通过分析二色补血草群体的遗传多样性和遗传结构,旨在为资源的管理、保护和利用提供依据。总之,保护遗传多样性时,应保存尽可能多的居群和特异单株。  相似文献

Chemical investigation of the endophytic fungus Penicillium sp. isolated from Limonium tubiflorum growing in Egypt afforded four new compounds of polyketide origin, including two macrolides, penilactone (1) and 10,11-epoxycurvularin (2), a dianthrone, neobulgarone G (7), and a sulfinylcoumarin, sulfimarin (14), along with twelve known metabolites (3-6, 8-13, 15 and 16). The structures of all compounds were assigned by comprehensive spectral analysis (1D and 2D NMR) and mass spectrometry. Compounds 3, 4, 13 and 16 showed pronounced antitrypanosomal activity with mean MIC values ranging from 4.96 to 9.75 ??M. Moreover, when tested against a panel of three human tumor cell lines compounds 3, 4, 6 and 12 showed selective growth inhibition against Jurkat and U937 cell lines with IC50 values ranging from 1.8 to 13.3 ??M. The latter compounds also inhibited TNF??-induced NF-??B activity in K562 cells with IC50 values ranging from 1.6 to 10.1 ??M, respectively.  相似文献

以黄花补血草(Limonium aureum(L.)Hill.)无菌苗为材料,研究了不同激素配比条件下不同外植体愈伤组织的诱导及植株再生.结果表明,黄花补血草无菌苗叶片、叶柄和幼根均可作为离体培养的外植体,但叶片和叶柄的诱导率明显高于幼根.将外植体接种于分别添加0.5 mg/L NAA或1.0 mg/L 2,4-D或0.3-0.5 mg/L 6-BA 0.5-2.0 mg/L NAA的MS培养基上,经过14-28 d培养后,可脱分化产生乳白色、红色或浅绿色颗粒状或致密愈伤组织,频率达到70%以上.在MS 0.3 mg/L 6-BA 1.0 mg/L NAA培养基上,红色和绿色颗粒状愈伤组织经过1-2次继代后,均可分化产生不定芽,进而形成丛生芽,分化率达到100%.将高约3 cm的丛生芽切下,接种于分别添加0.5 mg/L IAA或0.5 mg/L IBA的1/2 MS培养基上可产生不定根,获得完整的再生植株.  相似文献

为了探讨红凤菜扦插繁殖的适宜条件,采用不同基质、不同成熟度插条及不同萘乙酸(NAA)浓度进行三个因素随机区组试验,萘乙酸、插条成熟度和基质组成对红凤菜插条生根数量均有显著影响,其中萘乙酸处理对红凤菜插条生根数量的影响最大,枝条成熟度其次,扦插基质影响较小,结果表明扦插生根的最佳组合为:1 000 mg/kgNAA×幼嫩枝条×泥炭土∶珍珠岩=1∶1,NAA极显著地促进插条生根,数量增多,同时又极显著地抑制根的伸长。  相似文献

The number of plasmodesmata was calculated per 1 μm of cell wall length in the central and medullar zones of shoot apical meristems (SAM) in the course of floral transition in a long-day (LD) plant Rudbeckia bicolor Nutt. and a short-day plant Perilla nankinensis Lour. Under the day length unfavorable for flowering (control), the numbers of plasmodesmata differed in the central and medullar zones of SAM, which produce the reproductive organs and stems, respectively. Besides, the numbers of plasmodesmata in the central zone of perilla SAM considerably differed between the anticlinal and periclinal cell walls of the first and second cell layers. Following the photoperiodic induction (PI) with eight LD in rudbeckia and twelve SD in perilla favorable for floral transition, the numbers of plasmodesmata considerably increased in the anticlinal and periclinal cell walls of the first and second cell layers of the central zone; meanwhile in the medullar zone, the numbers of plasmodesmata dropped down following PI. These data show that floral transition presumably involves the activation of cell-to-cell interactions and enhances the signal transduction in SAM.  相似文献
