本文采用灰色系统理论和方法,研究了安徽省各蚕区的蚕桑生产与气候因子的变化规律,通过关联分析,研究了影响各蚕区的气候因子,建立了年茧量及亩桑产茧量的灰色静动态模型.研究结果表明,气温、降水、日照是影响各蚕区蚕桑生产的主要因子,但由于不同蚕区气候条件的差异,各蚕区的重点气候因子又各不相同;利用气候因子所建立的方程,与年茧量、亩桑产茧量的实际值及变化规律有很好的拟合度. 相似文献

A method for the isolation of coupled mitochondria from the acellular slime mould Physarum polycephalum is described. The mitochondria oxidize respiratory substrates at rates comparable to those of mitochondria from other micro-organisms and show similar responses to respiratory inhibitors. ADP/O values approach similar values to those obtained with mitochondria from higher organisms: 3 with NAD-linked substrates, 2 with succinate, and 1 with ascorbate-TMPD.Mitochondria actively take up low concentrations of Ca2+ with stimulation of their respiration. With succinate or pyruvate-malate as substrates respiratory responses are depressed by Ca2+ concentrations in excess of 200 μM in the presence or absence of phosphate.Exogenous NADH is unique in supporting the uptake of large amounts of Ca2+ in the presence of phosphate and in showing an unusual ‘uncoupled’ response in the absence of phosphate.A sigmoidal relationship occurs between initial velocity of Ca2+ uptake and Ca2+ concentration with a maximum velocity of approx. 15 nmol/s per mg protein and half maximum velocity occurring at approx. 50 μM Ca2+. 相似文献

Germinating microcysts of Polysphondylium pallidum possess the ability to digest carboxymethyl cellulose to its glucose subunits. This CM-cellulase activity, which is cycloheximide-sensitive, increases several-fold intracellularly during germination and is excreted into the extracellular medium. Augmentation of the extracellular level of cellulase enhances emergence of amoebae from microcysts, suggesting that this activity is critical for germination. The inhibition of -glucosidase activity with d-gluconic acid lactone also inhibits emergence, implicating this enzyme in germination as well. 相似文献

Fatty acids were determined by gas chromatography followed by principal component analysis (PCA) and soft independent modelling
of class analogy (SIMCA) in the blubber of 18 female grey seals, Halichoerus grypus, in their milk and in the blubber of their 1-week-old nursing pups. Large individual differences were observed in both blubber
and milk content of fatty acids. The fatty acid composition of the milk was systematically different from the composition
in maternal blubber, with higher relative amounts of the saturated acids, the monounsaturated with 20 carbon atoms and the
n3 polyunsaturated, except 18:3n3. The composition of the fatty acids in the blubber of the pups was different from that of
the milk. The same fatty acids that were enriched in the milk were depleted in the blubber of the pups. Therefore the fatty
acid composition in the blubber of the pups was similar to that in the adults, although not identical. The results from this
investigation imply that the composition of the fatty acids in the blubber of female seals and in the blubber of their pups
cannot be determined directly by analysis of fatty acid composition of milk.

The aim of this study was to examine the variation in body surface temperature of grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) pups throughout lactation in response to different environmental conditions. Radiative surface temperatures (T
r, °C) of pups were measured on the Isle of May (56°11′N, 02°33′W), southeast Scotland from 29 October to 25 November 2003.
Records were obtained from a total of 60 pups (32 female and 28 male) from three different pupping sites during early and
late lactation. Pups were sheltered from high wind speeds but air temperature, humidity and solar radiation at pupping sites
were similar to general meteorological conditions. The mean T
r of all pups was 15.8°C (range 7.7–29.7°C) at an average air temperature of 10.2°C (range 6.5–13.8°C). There was no difference
in the mean T
r of pups between early and late lactation. However, the T
r varied between different regions of the body with hind flippers on average 2–6°C warmer than all other areas measured. There
was no difference in mean T
r of male and female pups and pup body mass did not account for the variation in T
r during early or late lactation. Throughout the day there was an increase in the T
r of pups and this explained 20–28% of the variation in T
r depending on stage of lactation. There was no difference in the mean T
r of pups between pupping sites or associated with different substrate types. Wind speed and substrate temperature had no effect
on the T
r of pups. However, solar radiation, air temperature and relative humidity accounted for 48% of the variation in mean T
r of pups during early lactation. During late lactation air temperature and solar radiation alone accounted for 43% of the
variation in T
r. These results indicate that environmental conditions explain only some of the variation in T
r of grey seal pups in natural conditions. Differences in T
r however indicate that the cost of thermoregulation for pups will vary throughout lactation. Further studies examining intrinsic
factors such as blubber thickness and activity levels are necessary before developing reliable biophysical models for grey

Coupling habitat models based on GIS and on ground variables could help identify suitable areas (by means of landscape models obtained by GIS variables) to concentrate management actions for species’ conservation. In this study, the habitat requirements of Lesser Greys (LGS) and Woodchat Shrikes (WS), two threatened farmland bird species declining in Europe, were assessed in Apulia (south-eastern Italy) by means of binary logistic regression at two different levels: landscape (using GIS-measured variables); and, territory (using ground-measured variables) scales. The LGS occurrence at landscape scale was correlated to steppe-like areas and cereal crops. At the territory level, significant effects were detected for deciduous forests and the presence of isolated trees and shrubs. The WS occurrence at landscape scale was promoted by steppe-like areas and cereal crops, whereas, at the territory level significant effects were detected for steppe-like areas positively and suburban areas negatively. The landscape model was extrapolated to the entire region. Within highly suitable areas (occurrence probability higher than 0.66 according to the landscape model), we measured average habitat features and compared them with the optimal mosaic depicted by the territory level models. This allowed us to give spatially explicit and site-specific management recommendations for these two threatened species. LGS will mostly benefit from an increase in isolated shrubs and trees; whereas for WS, the most widespread recommendations are to increase steppe-like habitat and to prevent further urbanisation.Coupling “coarse” landscape models with the species ecology provided by fine-scaled models can integrate relevant information on species potential distribution and territory level requirements, making planning fine-tuned habitat management (within potentially suitable landscapes) in a spatially explicit way possible. 相似文献

The Grey Nurse Shark (Carcharias taurus) is a popular attraction for shark eco-tourism using SCUBA. The species is also ‘globally Vulnerable’ (IUCN 2008. List of Threatened Species. www.iucnredlist.org/). Magic Point (off Maroubra) in Sydney is favoured by recreational SCUBA divers wishing to observe these sharks. The objective of this study was to experimentally test the level of the activities of recreational SCUBA divers on shark behaviour. This study assessed the shark responses to diver group size (4, 8 and 12), time of day (am, noon and pm) and diver distance from the sharks (3?m and 6?m). The study found that diver activity does affect the aggregation, swimming and respiratory behaviour of sharks at this site, albeit at short-term levels. Diver group size had no significant effect on shark aggregation, but the proximity of divers to the sharks was crucial. Shark distribution in the cave changed significantly in the presence of divers at 3?m distance from the cave, but stayed unchanged at 6?m. This was particularly apparent in the presence of large groups of 12 divers at 3?m distance when sharks increased their swim speed and ventilation mechanism from ‘active’ to ‘RAM’ ventilation. Such change coincided with a sudden decrease in ventilation frequency. Our research suggests that these effects are short-term and that sharks resume their behaviour once the divers retreat. If divers abide by the current code of practice for diving at this site, it is unlikely that their activities will substantially impact Grey Nurse Sharks in the long term. 相似文献

Capsule In this region the diet is mainly cold-blooded prey, mostly insects such as beetles. Aims To describe the diet of this newly separated, poorly documented and endangered species. Method Diet was inferred from pellet analysis, collected during a single breeding and winter period in the steppe of the Crau. Results A total of 5409 prey were identified from 257 pellets. Vertebrates were seldom taken, except by adults (small passerines) during the fledgling period. High seasonal differences were found. Hymenoptera were largely consumed in autumn, Arachnida in autumn and winter, Orthoptera in summer and autumn and Lepidoptera larvae in winter and spring and by fledglings. Nevertheless, Coleoptera were ingested in large proportions all year round. Carabidae were the main prey in winter and Melolonthidae were especially important for adults during the nestling period, as were Cetoniidae for the fledglings. Conclusion Small mammals and small birds were less exploited in France and Spain (L. m. meridionalis) than in Israel (L. m. elegans or L. m. aucheri), whereas the opposite might be expected, following a north–south climatic gradient. Three hundred and twenty-nine Greek honey samples of different botanical and geographical origin were collected and examined by organoleptic evaluation, melissopalynological analysis, measurement of electrical conductivity and colour. The results showed that 208 samples were unifloral with 178 of them representing the main types of unifloral honey produced in Greece; that is fir, pine, chestnut, cotton, orange and thyme honey. All honeys had the sensory characteristics typical of their origin and complied with the electrical conductivity standards set by Council Directive 2001/110/EC. Fir and pine honeydew honey had a low honeydew element/pollen (HDE/P) ratio and belonged to Maurizio's Classes II or III. The pollen types identified in these honeys ranged from 11 to 45%. Chestnut nectar honey contained >90% chestnut pollen, had a total number of plant elements of >245,000/10?g, and low pollen diversity. Cotton honey contained 1.2 to 16.5% cotton pollen, belonged to Maurizio's Class II, and had 22 pollen types, with Castanea sativa L. present in all samples. Orange honey contained 2.9 to 26.5% Citrus spp. pollen, belonged to Maurizio's Class II, and was characterized by the presence of Brassicaceae, Fabaceae, Olea europea L., Quercus coccifera L. and Rosaceae. In thyme honeys Thymus capitatus Hoffm. &; Link. pollen was secondary or predominant ranging from 18.3 to 69.3%. These honeys belonged to Maurizio's Classes I or II and contained greater than 30 pollen types. Other Lamiaceae, Hypericum spp., Brassicaceae, Fabaceae, Rosaceae, and Cistus spp. pollen types appeared in the greatest number of thyme samples. 相似文献
