本研究采用EBV-EA诱导抑制实验的方法,对40种蔬菜,60个品种,共150个样品的防癌抗促作用效果进行了筛选与比较,其中具有中等以上抑制活性的样品117个,占样品总数的78%,尤其以非洲野苋菜、辣椒、羽衣甘蓝、山药芋头、苦瓜及紫苏、罗勒等一些芳香莱的效果较好。不同品种、不同植株部位、不同提取方法以及不同产地,对蔬菜的抗促活性也有影响,值得进一步研究。 相似文献

本文报道苦楝果实中的生物活性物质。发现果实的抽提物和单体化合物不仅具有防治作物害虫的作用,而且,还对植物有生长调节作用。通过生物活性鉴定结果表明:果实种仁的水抽提物对水稻早期萌动、发芽与秧苗的生长均有促进作用。其中,处理稻种第2天(48h),其发芽率比对照高出24.67%~42.86%;第4天秧苗的根长在1cm以上占56.5%~65.0%,而对照组只有15.5%。尤其是抽提液浓度在6000ppm时处理的稻种,测得生长10d的秧苗总长为对照的120.27%,胚根长为对照的121.54%;以及叶片中的叶绿素总含量比对照高8.5%。还证明了从果实中提取分离的几种三萜类化合物和在果实中发现的一种新化合物对苯二甲酸二甲酯,均对菜青虫有拒食和胃毒活性。 相似文献

To help in isolating the genes involved in Down syndrome, wesought CpG islands in 4 Mb cosmid/PAC contigs spanning mostof the 21q.22.2 band using seven rare cutting enzymes. A strikingfeature was observed upstream of hSIM2 where at least 41 rare-cuttingsites were clustered within a 20-kb region. To investigate thestructure of the cluster, a cosmid containing hSIM2 was submittedto shotgun sequencing. Sequence analysis revealed that the clusterwas a long CpG island extending 19, 128 nucleotides which includesin the first and second exons of hSIM2. Taken together withour observation in which the CpG islands were concentrated within1.2 Mb around hSIM2, we propose that this region functions asan R-band, and the cluster provides a unique element for markingof DNA for the spatial and temporal expression of the hSIM2locus. 相似文献

The short term effect of NO3 − (12 mM) on nitrate reductase (NR. EC 1.6.6.1) activity has been studied in the roots, nodules and leaves of different genotypes of Vicia faba L. at the end of vegetative growth. Root and leaf NR activity responded positively to NO3 − while nodule activity, where detected, proved to he strongly inhibited. The withdraw of this NO3 − from the solution consistently reduced activity in the roots and leaves but surprising, promoted a significant increase in nodule activity, which matched or surpassed that of control plants On the other hand, nodules developed in the presence of 8 mM NO3 − expressed an on average 141% higher level of NR activity than did controls. This effect was observed even in nodules with negligible control activity. In any case, a naturally occurring mutant (VF17) lacking root and nodule NR activity is described. The results indicate that in V. faba. the effects of NO3 − and plant genotype on NR activity depended on plant organ and time of NO3 − application, hut the distribution of NO3 − reduction through the plain was mainly dependent on plant genotype, and to a lesser extent on NO: supply and plant age. 相似文献

A new method for evaluating the matric potential of gelled media has been developed. The method allows the derivation of the matric potential as a limit of a series of measurements of water potential values from gelled media prepared without added components, from agar powders progressively cleaned of mineral impurities. Three commercial agar brands were tested, and for these the matric potential was found to contribute only between 1 and 2% of their total water potential. Thermodynamic features relating matric and osmotic potentials are described. New hypotheses for understanding the water flux mechanism from gel to tissue cultured explants are discussed. We describe short-term changes in foraging behavior by wild Yakushima macaques (Macaca fuscata yakui),which inhabit a warm-temperate broad—leaved forest on Yakushima Island (30°N, 131°E), Japan. Rapid changes of dietary composition,
activity budget, and range use by the monkeys occurred from May to June, apparently associated with changes in the availability
of the fruit of Myrica rubraBefore the fruit ripened, monkeys spent less time moving and more time feeding on many species of leaves, which accounted
for 40% of feeding time. However, when M. rubrabegan to ripen, they fed intensively on the fruit, which accounted for three-fourths of feeding time,though the activity budget remained unaffected As fiuit of M. rubradecreased,the monkeys fed more on the fruit of other species and on insects, and spent more time moving at higher speeds. shifts in foraging pattern occurred within only two months. In terms of moving cost and dietary quality,Yakushima macaques shifted their foraging pattern according to the availability of M. rubrafrom a “low-cost, low-yield” strategy to a “low-cost, high-yield” strategy, and then to a more costly strategy. Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) exerts a positive contractile response directly in rat ventricular cardiomyocytes. This response is mediated by receptors of the CGRP1-subtype. Amylin is 46% homologous with CGRP and binds to receptors selective for CGRP in a range of tissues. The ability of amylin to influence ventricular contractility has been assessed using cardiomyocytes isolated from the ventricles of adult rats. Cardiomyocytes were subjected to biphasic electrical stimulation at 0.5 Hz. CGRP produced a concentration-dependent positive contractile response which became maximal 4 min after initial stimulation. CGRP increased the contractile amplitude maximally at 1 nM and to a value which was 23.3% greater than in the absence of peptide (EC50 VALUE = 21 pM). Amylin increased the contractile amplitude maximally at 20 nM and to a value which was 17.3% greater than in the absence of peptide (EC50 VALUE = 216 pM). In the presence of amylin (20 nM), the concentration-dependence of the contractile response to CGRP was shifted to the left, so that the response became maximal when CGRP was present at 50 pM. In the presence of CGRP8–37 (100 nM), a selective antagonist at CGRP1-preferring receptors, the concentration-dependence of the contractile response to CGRP was shifted to the right (dose RATIO = 54). Similarly, in the presence of CGRP8–37 (100 nM), the contractile response to amylin was inhibited significantly (P ≤ 0.01). Amylin8–37 (100 nM) did not inhibit the concentration-dependence of the contractile responses to CGRP and amylin significantly (dose RATIOS = 4.2 and 2.4, respectively). In conclusion, these data indicate that amylin exerts a contractile response directly in rat ventricular cardiomyocytes via CGRP1-preferring receptors. This effect could assume greater significance in non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus and in hypertensive states, in which the concentration of amylin is elevated in plasma. 相似文献
