目的:探讨血浆取代血清检测乙肝标志物的检测结果以及临床意义。方法:选取我科检测乙肝标志物的血样30份,分别放在抗凝剂管和普通干燥试管,采用全自动酶免疫分析仪检测HBsAg,将检测结果进行OD及S/CO值统计处理,并进行比较分析。结果:血清与二种血浆检测结果相关系数均0.99,二种血浆与血清结果相关关系良好(P〉0.0 5),无显著性差异。结论:血浆代替血清完全可以用于全自动酶标分析仪进行检测,既可以节省预处理时间,又可以减少标本在分离吸移血清过程中出现差错,值得临床推广和应用。 相似文献

Al-Shiha and Yang (1999) proposed a multistage procedure for analysing unreplicated factorial experiments, which is based on the statistic that is derived from the generalised likelihood ratio test statistic under the assumption of normality. It was shown by their simulation study that the method is quite competitive with Lenth's (1989) method. In their paper, because of the difficulty of determining the null distribution analytically, the quantiles of the null distribution were empirically simulated. In oncology studies with binary responses, it is often desirable to demonstrate the anti-tumor activity of a test drug before the planned study completes. We propose penalty-free interim analysis strategies that do not change the rejection criterion for the test of null hypothesis at the end. The strategies are applied to standard one-arm and two-arm studies. Although the motivating studies are from oncology, the findings in this research note are equally applicable to similar settings. A Bayesian approach was used to determine both the test properties of three diagnostic test procedures and the prevalence of Giardia duodenalis in dairy calves in Belgium. A cross-sectional survey was conducted in the province of East Flanders, Belgium. Between September 2001 and December 2003, a total of 100 farms were visited and faecal samples were obtained rectally from 499 calves aged from newborn to 70 days. Because there is no gold standard for the diagnosis of a G. duodenalis infection in dairy calves, a subset of 235 samples obtained on the first 50 farms, was examined using three different assays: microscopical examination, an immunofluorescence assay (IFA) and an antigen detecting Elisa (ELISA). Based on the results of these three tests, Bayesian analysis indicated that the prevalence of G. duodenalis in dairy calves was 0.19 (95% Confidence Interval: 0.11-0.28) and that ELISA (Sensitivity (Se) 0.89 and Specificity (Sp): 0.90) and IFA (Se: 0.77 and Sp: 0.95) were both sensitive and specific diagnostic techniques, whereas microscopical examination was less sensitive (Se: 0.56 and Sp: 0.87). The proportion of positive farms was estimated as 0.42 (0.24-0.62). The prevalence and the cyst excretion in calves from different age categories were based on data obtained by IFA on all 499 samples. The prevalence was highest among four to five week old calves and remained high among older calves up to 10 weeks, but was lower among calves before the age of two weeks. The number of excreted cysts was estimated by IFA and ranged from 100 to 1,040,000 cysts per gram faeces, with a mean of 3516 cysts per gram faeces. The intensity of excretion peaked among four-week-old calves and remained high among calves up to the age of eight weeks. This is the first known study to use Bayesian analysis to estimate the prevalence of G. duodenalis in the faeces of dairy calves and to estimate test characteristics of diagnostic assays used for the detection of G. duodenalis. 相似文献

Objective: To explore a quantitative trait locus (QTL) on human chromosome 1q affecting BMI, adiposity, and fat‐free mass phenotypes in the Quebec Family Study cohort. Research Methods and Procedures: Non‐parametric sibpair and variance component linkage analyses and family‐based association studies were performed with a dense set of chromosome 1q43 microsatellites and single‐nucleotide polymorphism markers in 885 adult individuals. Results: Linkage was observed between marker D1S184 and BMI (p = 0.0004) and with body fat mass or percentage body fat (p ≤ 0.0003), but no linkage was detected with fat‐free mass. Furthermore, significant linkages (p < 0.0001) were achieved with subsamples of sibpairs at both ends of phenotype distributions. Association studies with quantitative transmission disequilibrium tests refined the linkage to a region overlapping the regulator of G‐protein signaling 7 (RGS7) gene and extending to immediate upstream gene loci. Discussion: The present study indicates that the QTL on chromosome 1q43 specifically affects total adiposity and provides a genetic mapping framework for the dissection of this adiposity locus. 相似文献

The coefficient of variation CV (%) is widely used to measure the relative variation of a random variable to its mean or to assess and compare the performance of analytical techniques/equipments. A review is made of the existing multivariate extensions of the univariate CV where, instead of a random variable, a random vector is considered, and a novel definition is proposed. The multivariate CV obtained only requires the calculation of the mean vector, the covariance matrix and simple quadratic forms. No matrix inversion is needed which makes the new approach equally attractive in high dimensional as in very small sample size problems. As an illustration, the method is applied to electrophoresis data from external quality assessment in laboratory medicine, to phenotypic characteristics of pocket gophers and to a microarray data set. 相似文献

The hominin fossils of Dmanisi, Republic of Georgia, present an ideal means of assessing levels of skeletal size and shape variation in a fossil hypodigm belonging to the genus Homo because they have been recovered from a spatially and temporally restricted context. We compare variation in mandible size and shape at Dmanisi to that of extant hominoids and extinct hominins. We use height and breadth measurements of the mandibular corpus at the first molar and the symphysis to assess size, and analyze shape based on size-adjusted (using a geometric mean) versions of these four variables. We compare size and shape variation at Dmanisi relative to all possible pairs of individuals within each comparative taxon using an exact resampling procedure of the ratio of D2600 to D211 and the average Euclidean distance (AED) between D2600 and D211, respectively. Comparisons to extant hominoids were conducted at both the specific and subspecific taxonomic levels and to extinct hominins by adopting both a more, and less speciose, hominin taxonomy. Results indicate that the pattern of variation for the Dmanisi hominins does not resemble that of any living species: they exhibit significantly more size variation when compared to modern humans, and they have significantly more corpus shape variation and size variation in corpus heights and overall mandible size than any extant ape species. When compared to fossil hominins they are also more dimorphic in size (although this result is influenced by the taxonomic hypothesis applied to the hominin fossil record). These results highlight the need to re-examine expectations of levels of sexual dimorphism in members of the genus Homo and to account for marked size and shape variation between D2600 and D211 under the prevailing view of a single hominin species at Dmanisi. 相似文献

Background
Some causes of accidents among older drivers are: not paying attention to traffic signals; missing stop lines; and having to deal with and misjudging emergency situations. These causes of accidents reveal problems with attention and cognition. Such incidents are also related to driver perception and stress-coping mechanisms. It is important to examine the relation of stress reactions to attention and cognition as a factor influencing the causes of accidents commonly involving older drivers.Finding
Subjects were 10 young drivers (23.3 ± 3.33 years) and 25 older drivers divided into two groups (older1 [60 to 65 years] and older2 [> 65 years]). This study revealed the correlation within driver stress inventory and driver coping questionnaires parameters was observed only in older drivers. They also needed a longer response time for Trail Making Test A and B. The factors affected the attention and cognition of older drivers by age but not driving experience itself, and coping parameters such as emotion focus, reappraisal, and avoidance were not included as stress inventory parameters. Being prone to fatigue was less for younger drivers than older drivers. Because they have shorter distances, shorter drive times, and no need for expressways, older drivers also had a significantly lower risk of thrill-seeking behaviour and more patience.Conclusion
The intervention addressing their attention skills, aggressive feelings, and emotion focus should be considered. The technological improvements in cars will make older drivers feel safer and make driving easier which might lower the attention paid to the road, and regular driving training might be needed to assess and enhance their safety. 相似文献60.
