Palaeoecological and phytosociological reconstruction of precultural vegetation in the Bílý Kříž area,the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts,Slovak Republic

A combined palynological and phytosociological methodological approach was used in the reconstruction of precultural forest vegetation in a small model area of Bílý Kí-Janík in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy mountains (northwest Slovakia). Two pollen diagrams show the predominance of Fagus sylvatica, Abies alba and Picea abies in past natural mixed forests. The present-day occurrence and distribution of forest herbs allow the differentiation of five past vegetation types with above mentioned forest climax trees covering the area before the beginning of human interference. A map of reconstructed natural vegetation is presented which can be used for revitalization of present secondary spruce plantations, heavily affected by air pollution.     

Mutations in neuromusculin,a gene encoding a cell adhesion molecule,cause nervous system defects

The Drosophila neuromusculin (nrm) gene encodes an immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) cell adhesion molecule expressed in the precursors of the embryonic peripheral nervous system (PNS), in the midline precursors of the central nervous system (CNS), and in muscles. During the initial phases of CNS axonogenesis, nrm is expressed in cells involved in the development of commissures and longitudinal tracts. Mutations which alter expression of nrm mRNAs cause aberrant development of commissures and longitudinal axon pathways. Defects in the PNS and muscles of nrm mutants are also observed. In most nrm embryos, abnormal development can be detected in a subset of abdominal segments; however, in approximately 1 of 10 nrm embryos, the defects extend to all segments. Herein, we present evidence that nrm plays an important role in early morphogenesis, possibly by mediating or facilitating inductive cell contacts and movements.     

Fine needle aspiration (FNA) in the diagnosis of soft tissue tumours; a review of 22 years experience

FNA plays an important role in preoperative diagnosis of soft tissue tumours. A close clinical/morphologic cooperation is essential. FNA should be performed on the most accessible part of the tumour, avoiding penetration of the deep portions of the tumour. Needles 0.7 mm (22 G) are recommended. For deep lesions, needles with a stylet should be used. After the FNA, tattooing of the aspiration channel is recommended, and the channel is surgically removed together with the tumour, if a sarcoma. Material from the FNA can be used for additional examinations, i.e. electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, DNA ploidy analysis and chromosomal analysis. Those techniques are of great importance in the differential diagnosis, particularly in the paediatric small/round cell tumours. the majority of sarcomas can be defined as low grade or high grade malignant in FNA. For malignancy grading the following parameters are used: cellularity, pleomorphism, chromatin pattern, nucleolar structure, mitotic figures and necroses. Cytodiagnostic details of the most common soft tissue tumours and their differential diagnoses are presented.     

甾体激素受体超家族的基因调控机制

甾体激素受体超家族是一类基因反式作用因子,对RNA聚合酶Ⅱ转录的某些蛋白质基因和RNA聚合酶Ⅰ转录的核糖体RNA基因均有正或负的转录调节作用.超家族对RNA polⅡ转录的基因调控的机理包括受体激活,相关蛋白解离,磷酸化,同源/异源二聚化,核转位,与正/负激素应答元件及相应转录蛋白作用,最终激活或抑制特异靶基因的转录.甾体激素对RNA polⅠ转录的基因的调节作用以及超家族中的经典受体和孤儿受体非配合的激活机制是目前研究的热点.     

陕南地区油橄榄生长发育与生态条件关系的研究

根据定位观测和实地调查资料研究了油橄榄在陕南地区的生长发育和环境条件的关系,油橄榄树的枝条日高生长量为昼夜生长类型。夜间生长高于昼间的１２１％－１６０％;６、７、８、９月的生长量占全年生长量的７６％。油橄榄树的年生长量和产量状况与土壤含水量和土壤质地性质有密切关系;油橄榄树为阳性树种,在增加光照的环境条件下生长和结实良好,反之较差。     

人脑神经元特异性烯醇化酶的纯化方法

采用改良的Grace层析方法,经一次DEAE-Sephadex A50柱层析即从人脑中纯化了神经元特异性烯醇化酶,比活力为92.1U/mg,纯化倍数为59.4.该酶纯化后,经SDS-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳鉴定为单一蛋白质谱带.此外,还测定了其部分理化性质,其亚单位分子量为45000,等电点pI为4.7,氨基酸组成分析表明其为一种酸性蛋白质;对2-磷酸甘油酸的K_m值为5.6×10^-4mol/L.     

猕猴桃种质资源保存及育种研究

收集保存猕猴桃属植物３５种或变种、变型,并将它们分为抗寒?喜凉、喜温３种类型。从保存的中华猕猴桃优株中系统选育出“武植２号”、“武植３号”２个优良品种。以中华猕猴桃为母本,毛花猕猴桃为父本进行种间杂交,从杂种Ｆ１代中培养出“江山娇”、“满天星”、“重瓣”３个具有园艺观赏价值的优良株系。这些研究工作为猕猴桃种质资源的保存及新品种的培育奠定了工作基础。

喀喇昆仑、昆仑山地区植物元素含量的区域分异和数量分析

对喀喇昆仑、昆仑山地区87种植物21个元素含量及区域分异的研究表明,Ca、Cr、Cd、Fe、V含量比高等植物含量偏高,Ph、P的含量偏低。同种植物在不同地点元素含量有差异。盐柴荒漠植物中Na、K、Mg、P含量较高;高山草甸、冰缘植被植物Ba、Ca、Fe、V、Ti含量较高。各植被类型植物元素含量Na/K差异最大,Ca/Mg较小,Fe/Al差异最小。其变异系数分别为153.5、20.5和15.9.%
