This article deals with the synthesis of 4-(2-hydroxyquinolin-3-yl)-6-phenyl-5,6-dihydropyrimidin derivatives (2a–f), on condensation with various aromatic aldehydes and ketones in aqueous ethanolic NaOH solution yielding the corresponding chalcones (3). These chalcones were further reacted with thiourea/urea in the presence of a base, which led to the formation of the titled derivatives (2a–f). The newly synthesized heterocyles were characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, 1HNMR, and electronic and mass spectral data. The compounds (2a and 2b) were evulated for in vitro cyctotoxicity against human breast adenocarcinoma cell (MCF-7). In MTT cytotoxicity studies, both quinolinde derivatives were found most effective. The binding interaction behavior of the compound (2a) and (2d) with calf thymus-DNA (CT-DNA) was studied by electronic spectra, viscosity measurements, and thermal denaturation studies. On binding to CT-DNA, the absorption spectrum underwent bathochromic and hypochromic shifts. The binding constant (Kb) observed 4.3 × 105 M?1 for (2a), and 3.8 × 105 M?1 for (2d) suggested that compound (2a) binds more strongly with base pairs than (2d).  相似文献

Ten laboratories in an external quality assurance scheme used the same assay to measure anti-müllerian hormone concentration (Beckman Coulter Gen II) and received twenty serum samples distributed over a 15 month period. The mean bias for all results was only ?0.089%, but there was large coefficient of repeatability of 38.8% (sample bias ranged from ?37.9% to +54.7%). While each laboratory showed good reproducibility, there was a wide range of average values relative to the consensus value from ?24.0% to +22.7%. This between-laboratory variability suggests clinicians should use the same laboratory to avoid problems with result interpretation.  相似文献

This paper presents the design of a resonant system for in vitro studies to emulate the exposure of a monolayer of cells to a wireless power transfer system operating at 13.56 MHz. The design procedure targets a system, which maximizes the specific absorption rate (SAR) uniformity on the plane where the layer is cultured, as well as SAR efficiency (defined as SAR over the input power), within the size constraints of a standard incubator. Three resonant wireless power transfer systems with different commonly used loop/coil geometries (cylindrical with circular and square cross-sections and annular) were compared with assess the configuration maximizing the considered design criteria. The system performance in terms of reflection and transmission coefficients, as well as generated E- and H-fields, was characterized numerically and experimentally inside the incubator. Moreover, SAR was computed at the monolayer level. The system equipped with cylindrical coils with square cross-sections led to a high electromagnetic field uniformity in in vitro biological samples. In particular, the uniformities in E and SAR at the layer level were within 7.9% and 5.5%, respectively. Whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) involves exposing minimally dressed participants to very cold air (injecting liquid nitrogen with temperature −195 °C), either in a specially designed chamber (cryo-chamber) or cabin (cryo-cabin), for a short period of time. The aim of this study was to examine the actual temperature of the air in the cryo-cabin at different locations throughout the cabin by using human subjects and a manikin. Additionally, we monitored skin temperature before and for 60 min after the cryo-cabin session. Twelve subjects completed one 3 min cryo-cabin session. Temperature next to the skin was assessed during the session, while the skin temperature was monitored before, 3 min after and every 10 min for 60 min after completing the session. There was a statistically significant interaction (time×position) for temperature among the different body parts during the WBC, and for skin temperature among different body parts after the cryo-cabin session. Statistically significant time effects during and following cryo-cabin session were present for all body parts. We showed that actual temperature in the cryo-cabin is substantially different from the one reported by the manufacturer. Thermal response after cryo-cabin session is similar to response observed after cryo-chamber cold exposure reported in previously published studies. This could be of great practical value as cryo-cabins are less expensive and easier to use compared to cryo-chambers.  相似文献

The lamellarity of liposomes is an important parameter to be controlled in liposomal delivery–release applications. A practical estimate of the degree of liposome lamellarity can be obtained by measuring the relative external surface area of the liposomes using a chemical assay. All such assays are based on a signal change caused by exposed marker lipids on reaction with a specific externally added reagent. However, a quantitative determination is often distorted by background reactions and contributions of internal lipid labeling. In the so-called TNBS assay, the marker lipid is phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) and the externally added reagent is TNBS (2,4,6-trinotrobenzene sulfonate). Mechanistic aspects of the TNBS assay were considered for improving the assay. Internal lipid labeling via PE flip-flop and/or TNBS permeation was minimal not only in cholesterol-containing liposomes but also in cholesterol-free liposomes if in the latter case membrane fluidity was decreased by slightly increasing the PE content. Compared with earlier versions of the TNBS assay, the amount of marker lipid and the time for analysis could be reduced considerably. The elaborated protocol was also applied to liposomes prepared from lipidic egg yolk isolates, offering a simple and inexpensive method for the development and in-process control of new liposome formation technologies.  相似文献

为了解2013-2014年湖北省外环境中禽流感病毒污染情况,采用实时荧光定量聚合酶链反应(polymerase chain reaction,PCR)对全省7个监测点1 642份活禽相关外环境标本进行禽流感病毒型别与阳性率监测.结果显示,2013-2014年湖北省外环境中禽流感病毒平均阳性检出率为19.1%,检出的禽流感病毒型别以H9亚型为主(占57.3%),未检出H7亚型.不同地区和季节禽流感病毒阳性率有所差异,鄂西北冬春季病毒检出阳性率高于鄂西南和江汉平原;家禽屠宰加工厂检出阳性率最高;阳性率最高的标本来自清洗禽类的污水.结果提示,湖北地区外环境中禽流感病毒阳性率较高,且型别多样,家禽屠宰加工人员对禽流感病毒有较高的暴露风险,需加强健康宣教,提高个人防护意识.  相似文献

目的:探讨以体外反搏为主的综合康复治疗对脑外伤后偏瘫患儿运动功能和日常生活活动能力(ADL)的影响。方法:选择2015年7月至2017年7月我院神经外科收治的脑外伤后偏瘫患儿46例,将其随机分为对照组和治疗组。两组患者均采用常规的康复治疗和护理,对照组采取常规的物理治疗(PT治疗),治疗组患者给予以体外反搏为主的综合康复治疗。于治疗1、3个月后,评价和比较两组患者粗大运动能力(GMFM)评分、精细运动能力(FMFM)评分和日常生活能力(ADL)评分的变化。结果:治疗1、3个月后,两组患儿GMFM、FMFM评分均较治疗前明显增加(均P0.01),而治疗组治疗后GMFM、FMFM评分均明显高于对照组(均P0.01)。两组治疗一个月后ADL总有效率(显效率与有效率之和)分别为90.48%和76.19%,治疗三个月后分别为95.24%和85.71%,治疗组均显著高于对照组(均P0.05)。结论:以体外反搏为主的综合康复治疗有利于促进脑外伤后偏瘫患者ADL及部分运动功能的提高。  相似文献

目的:探讨体外反搏联合言语训练治疗脑性瘫痪并语言发育迟缓儿童的临床疗效。方法:选择2015年12月至2017年12月在上海市儿童医院康复科普通门诊确诊的脑瘫并语言发育迟缓患儿52例,按照随机数字表法将其随机分为治疗组和对照组,每组26例。对照组仅给予言语训练治疗,治疗组给予体外反搏联合言语训练治,以4周1个疗程,两组均治疗3个疗程。治疗前后,采用中国康复研究中心汉语版儿童语言发育评定法s-s法、Gesell发育评分法评价和比较患儿言语发育商和认知发育商的变化。结果:治疗后,两组言语发育商和认知发育商均显著高于治疗前,且治疗组言语发育商和认知发育商均显著高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(均P0.01)。结论:体外反搏联合言语训练较单纯言语训练可更有效改善脑瘫并语言发育迟缓患儿的言语发育和认知发育。  相似文献
