Novel phenanthroline Schiff base fluorescent sensors L1 , L2 , and D1 were designed and synthesized. The sensing abilities of the compounds in the presence of metal cations (Li+, Na+, K+, Ag+, Mg2+, Ba2+, Ca2+, Mn2+, Pb2+, Hg2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Co2+, Cu2+, Cr3+, Fe3+, Fe2+, Al3+, and Eu3+) were studied by UV‐vis and fluorescent spectroscopy. The compounds L1 , L2 , and D1 could act as Eu3+ ion turn‐off fluorescent sensors based on ligand‐to‐metal binding mechanism in DMSO‐H2O solution (v/v = 1:1, 10 mM Tris, pH = 7.4). Additionally, the L1 –Eu3+ and D1 –Eu3+ complexes could be applied as turn‐on enantioselective sensors sensing of malate anion isomers with color changes. Furthermore, biological experiments using living PC‐12 cells demonstrated that L1 and D1 had excellent membrane permeability and could be used as effective fluorescent sensors for detecting Eu3+ and malate anion in living cells.  相似文献

Eu(2+), Dy(3+) and Tb(3+) co-doped strontium aluminate phosphor with high brightness and long afterglow was synthesized by a combustion method, using urea as a reducer. The properties of SrAl(2)O(4):Eu(2+),Dy(3+),Tb(3+) phosphor with a series of initiating combustion temperatures, urea concentrations and boric acid molar fractions were investigated. The sample at initiating combustion temperature of 600 degrees C exhibited an intense emission peak at 513 nm, in which the phosphor existed as a single-phase monoclinic structure. The experimental results showed that the optimum ratio of urea is 2.0 times higher than theoretical quantities and that the suitable molar fraction of H(3)BO(3) is 0.08. The average particle size of the phosphor was 50-80 nm and its luminescence properties were studied systematically. Compared with SrAl(2)O(4):Eu(2+),Dy(3+) phosphor, the initial luminescence brightness improved from 2.50 candela (cd)/m(2) to 3.55 cd/m(2) and the long afterglow time was prolonged from 1290 s to 2743 s.  相似文献

The anticonvulsant pheneturide, PNT, has been studied by 300 MHz 1H NMR in CDCl3 at ambient temperatures with the achiral lanthanide shift reagent (LSR) Eu(FOD)3, and with the chiral LSR, Eu(HFC)3. Both LSRs produced spectral simplification of the aryl proton signal region, and substantial lanthanide‐induced shifts (LIS). With added Eu(HFC)3, enantiomeric shift differences (ΔΔδ) were induced for most nuclei of PNT, indicating substantial potential for direct determination of enantiomeric excess. Valley heights between corresponding signals in the PNT enantiomers as low as 3.6% were achieved for the meta resonance. Least squares line‐fitting was applied to the variation of chemical shift vs. [LSR]/[PNT] molar ratios for both LSRs. Tentative assignments were made for the NH absorptions based on two‐dimensional NMR (COSY45), as well as their relative magnitudes of LIS, ΔΔδ, and lanthanide‐induced line broadening. The PNT conformation reported in the crystal is believed to be retained in solution with added LSR. The relative senses of magnetic nonequivalence were found to be the same among the three sets of aryl protons, and among the three kinds of protons in the ethyl moiety, with high levels of added chiral LSR, using 2D NMR. We report the thermoluminescence properties of Sr1.96Al2SiO7:Eu0.04 and Sr1.92Al2SiO7:Eu0.04Dy0.04 phosphors. These phosphors were prepared by a high‐temperature solid‐state reaction method. The prepared phosphors were characterized by X‐ray diffraction. A 254 nm source was used for ultraviolet (UV) irradiation and a 60Co source was used for γ‐irradiation. The effect of heating rate and UV‐exposure were examined. The thermoluminescence temperature shifts to higher values with increasing heating rate and thermoluminescence intensity increases with increasing UV exposure time. The trapping parameters such as activation energy (E), order of kinetics and frequency factor (s) were calculated by peak shape method. The effect of γ‐ and UV‐irradiation on thermoluminescence studies was also examined.  相似文献

Two synthesis routes, solid‐state reaction and precipitation reaction, were employed to prepare BaSiO3:Eu2+ phosphors in this study. Discrepancies in the luminescence green emission at 505 nm for the solid‐state reaction method sample and in the yellow emission at 570 nm for the sample prepared by the precipitation reaction method, were observed respectively. A detail investigation about the discrepant luminescence of BaSiO3:Eu2+ phosphors was performed by evaluation of X‐ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence (PL)/photoluminescence excitation (PLE), decay time and thermal quenching properties. The results showed that the yellow emission was generated from the BaSiO3:Eu2+ phosphor, while the green emission was ascribed to a small amount of Ba2SiO4:Eu2+ compound that was present in the solid‐state reaction sample. This work clarifies the luminescence properties of Eu2+ ions in BaSiO3 and Ba2SiO4 hosts.  相似文献

Europium (Eu)3+‐substituted La2Li0.5Al0.5O4 red emitting phosphors were prepared by a conventional high‐temperature solid‐state reaction method. Powder X‐ray diffraction, diffuse reflectance spectra and spectrofluorometry were used as vital characterizing tools for the phosphors. The Eu concentration dependence luminescence properties and Judd–Ofelt intensity parameters were investigated and calculated, respectively. All compositions showed an orange red emission (due to the magnetic and electric dipole transitions of the Eu3+ ion) with the appropriate Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) colour gamut under near ultraviolet or blue ray light excitation. The calculated critical distance showed that the energy transfer occured between Eu to Eu via an exchange mechanism. The Eu1.4La0.6Li0.5Al0.5O4 composition showed the highest red emission intensity with CIE colour saturation compared with that of the commercial Eu‐activated yttrium oxysulfide red phosphor.  相似文献

Ca3(PO4)2:Eu3+ phosphor was prepared using a facile chemistry method in the presence of surfactants. The effects of surfactants on the morphology and photoluminescence properties of Ca3(PO4)2:Eu3+ phosphor were investigated. The morphology of the phosphor was significantly influenced by the surfactants employed. When nonionic surfactant glyceryl monostearate and anionic surfactant sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate were employed, the phospor powders are composed of a large number of homogeneous spherical particles with sizes of 0.3–0.6 µm and 2–3 µm, respectively. By contrast, when cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide was used, the morphology of the phosphor is completely different. The product is an excellent cuboid, and the phosphor prepared with 2.5 mmol cetyltrimethylammonium bromide showed higher luminescent intensity than phosphors prepared with the other two types of surfactants. Novel red‐emitting phosphors, Eu3+‐activated M7Sn(PO4)6 (M = Sr, Ba), were synthesized at 1200°C by conventional solid‐state reaction method. The luminescent properties of M7Sn(PO4)6:Eu3+ (M = Sr, Ba) phosphors were investigated, and the critical concentration of the activator (Eu3+) concentration were found to be 0.175 mol and 0.21 mol per formula unit for Sr7‐xSn(PO4)6:xEu3+ and Ba7‐xSn(PO4)6:xEu3+, respectively. These phosphors presented red luminescence under the excitation of 395 or 465 nm, perfectly matching with the emissions wavelength of near‐ultraviolet (UV) light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) and InGaN blue LED.  相似文献

Six novel 8‐hydroxyquinoline derivatives were synthesized using 2‐methyl‐8‐hydroxyquinoline and para‐substituted phenol as the main starting materials, and were characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry (MS), ultraviolet (UV) light analysis and infra‐red (IR) light analysis. Their complexes with Eu(III) were also prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV light analysis, IR light analysis, and thermogravimetric–differential thermal analysis (TG–DTA). The results showed that the ligand coordinated well with Eu(III) ions and had excellent thermal stability. The structure of the target complex was EuY1–6(NO3)3.2H2O. The luminescence properties of the target complexes were investigated, the results indicated that all target complexes had favorable luminescence properties and that the introduction of an electron‐donating group could enhance the luminescence intensity of the corresponding complexes, but the addition of an electron‐withdrawing group had the opposite effect. Among all the target complexes, the methoxy‐substituted complex (–OCH3) had the highest fluorescence intensity and the nitro‐substituted complex (–NO2) had the weakest fluorescence intensity. The results showed that 8‐hydroxyquinoline derivatives had good energy transfer efficiency for the Eu(III) ion. All the target complexes had a relatively high fluorescence quantum yield. The fluorescence quantum yield of the complex EuY3(NO3)3.2H2O was highest among all target complexes and was up to 0.628. Because of excellent luminescence properties and thermal stabilities of the Eu(III) complexes, they could be used as promising candidate luminescent materials.  相似文献
