油菜田害虫调查及蚜虫防治药剂筛选   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
田间调查试验表明,合肥市油菜田害虫的发生种类有15种,主要害虫为蚜虫类、油菜潜叶蝇Phytomyza horticola、小菜蛾Plutella maculipennis和菜青虫Pieris rapae。其中,以蚜虫类危害最重,全生育期在冬、春季各有一个峰值。油菜苗期以萝卜蚜、小菜蛾危害较重,后期以桃蚜Myzus persicae、油菜潜叶蝇危害较重。蚜虫防治药剂筛选试验表明,70%吡虫啉水分散粒剂防治蚜虫药效高,持效期长,且对油菜安全,10%烯啶虫胺可溶液剂和25%吡蚜酮可湿性粉剂防效也较好,可作为70%吡虫啉水分散粒剂的轮换药剂。  相似文献

Ecdysteroids, the molting hormones in crustaceans and other arthropods, play a crucial role in the control of growth, reproduction and embryogenesis of these organisms. Insecticides are often designed to target specific endocrine-regulated functions such as molting and larval development such as methoprene, a juvenile hormone analogue.The aim of this study was to examine the effects of methoprene on molting in a non-target species, the estuarine mysid Neomysis integer (Crustacea: Mysidacea). Mysids have been proposed as standard test organisms for evaluating the endocrine disruptive effect of chemicals. Juveniles (< 24 h) were exposed for 3 weeks to the nominal concentrations 0.01, 1 and 100 μg methoprene/l. Daily, present molts were checked and stored in 4% formaldehyde for subsequent growth measurements. Methoprene significantly delayed molting at 100 μg/l by decreasing the growth rate and increasing the intermolt period. This resulted in a decreased wet weight of the organism. The anti-ecdysteroidal properties of methoprene on mysid molting were also evaluated by determining the ability of exogenously administered 20-hydroxyecdysone, the active ecdysteroid in crustaceans, to protect against the observed methoprene effects. Co-exposure to 20-hydroxyecdysone did not mitigate methoprene effects on mysid molting. This study demonstrates the need for incorporating invertebrate-specific hormone-regulated endpoints in regulatory screening and testing programs for the detection of endocrine disruption caused by man-made chemicals.  相似文献

Conventional models for predicting the fate of xenobiotic organic trace chemicals, identified, and calibrated using data obtained in batch experiments spiked with reference substances, can be limited in predicting xenobiotic removal in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). At stake is the level of model complexity required to adequately describe a general theory of xenobiotic removal in WWTPs. In this article, we assess the factors that influence the removal of diclofenac and carbamazepine in activated sludge, and evaluate the complexity required for the model to effectively predict their removal. The results are generalized to previously published cases. Batch experimental results, obtained under anoxic and aerobic conditions, were used to identify extensions to, and to estimate parameter values of the activated sludge modeling framework for Xenobiotic trace chemicals (ASM‐X). Measurement and simulation results obtained in the batch experiments, spiked with the diclofenac and carbamazepine content of preclarified municipal wastewater shows comparably high biotransformation rates in the presence of growth substrates. Forward dynamic simulations were performed using full‐scale data obtained from Bekkelaget WWTP (Oslo, Norway) to evaluate the model and to estimate the level of re‐transformable xenobiotics present in the influent. The results obtained in this study demonstrate that xenobiotic loading conditions can significantly influence the removal capacity of WWTPs. We show that the trace chemical retransformation in upstream sewer pipes can introduce considerable error in assessing the removal efficiency of a WWTP, based only on parent compound concentration measurements. The combination of our data with those from the literature shows that solids retention time (SRT) can enhance the biotransformation of diclofenac, which was not the case for carbamazepine. Model approximation of the xenobiotic concentration, detected in the solid phase, suggest that between approximately 1% and 16% of the total solid carbamazepine and diclofenac concentrations, respectively, is due to sorption—the remainder being non‐bioavailable and sequestered. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the model's predictive power over conventional tools in a statistical analysis, performed at four levels of structural complexity. To assess WWTP retrofitting needs to remove xenobiotic trace chemicals, we suggest using mechanistic models, e.g., ASM‐X, in regional risk assessments. For preliminary evaluations, we present operating charts that can be used to estimate average xenobiotic removal rates in WWTPs as a function of SRT and the xenobiotics mass loads normalised to design treatment capacity. Prothoracicotropic hormone (PTTH) is a brain neurohormone that has been studied for over 80 years. The only known target of PTTH is the prothoracic glands (PGs) of larvae, which synthesize the insect molting hormones (ecdysteroids) and a massive literature exists on this axis. The PGs degenerate around the time of adult emergence, yet presence of PTTH has been reported in the brains of several adult insects. Using an in vitro bioassay system, we confirm that PTTH is present in the adult female brain of Rhodnius prolixus. The material is electrophoretically, immunologically and biologically indistinguishable from larval PTTH. The amount of PTTH in the brain shows a daily rhythm during egg development. We show that brains in vitro release PTTH with a daily rhythm over this period of time. PTTH is released at each scotophase. This is the first report that PTTH is released from the adult brain and functions as a hormone, inviting explanation of its function. Larval PTTH is also known to be released with a daily rhythm, and the clock in the brain controls both larval and adult rhythms. The potential significance of rhythmic PTTH release in female adults is discussed in relation to the regulation of ecdysteroids, egg development and the concept of internal temporal order.  相似文献

  • 1 DISRUPT Micro‐Flake Verbenone Bark Beetle Anti‐Aggregant flakes (Hercon Environmental, Inc., Emigsville, Pennsylvania) were applied in two large‐scale tests to assess their efficacy for protecting whitebark pine Pinus albicaulis Engelm. from attack by mountain pine beetle Dendroctonus ponderosae Hopkins (Coleoptera: Scolytinae) (MPB). At two locations, five plots of equivalent size and stand structure served as untreated controls. All plots had early‐ to mid‐outbreak beetle populations (i.e. 7.1–29.2 attacked trees/ha). Verbenone was applied at 370 g/ha in both studies. Intercept traps baited with MPB aggregation pheromone were placed near the corners of each plot after the treatment in order to monitor beetle flight within the plots. Trap catches were collected at 7‐ to 14‐day intervals, and assessments were made at the end of the season of stand structure, stand composition and MPB attack rate for the current and previous years.
  • 2 Applications of verbenone flakes significantly reduced the numbers of beetles trapped in treated plots compared with controls at both sites by approximately 50% at the first collection date.
  • 3 The applications also significantly reduced the proportion of trees attacked in both Wyoming and Washington using the proportion of trees attacked the previous year as a covariate in the model for analysis of current year attack rates; in both sites, the reduction was ≥ 50%.
  • 4 The flake formulation of verbenone appears to have promise for area‐wide treatment by aerial application when aiming to control the mountain pine beetle in whitebark pine forests.

The present paper reports case study results of the risk assessment of transgenic Bt cotton on a non-target pest, cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii. Several types of techniques, i.e., electrical penetration graph (EPG), light and electron microscopy, bioassays and chemical analysis, were applied to investigate physical and chemical leaf factors of 2 transgenic Bt cotton lines (GK12 and GK19) and their pa-rental non-Bt cotton line (Simian3) associated with searching and feeding behaviors of cotton aphids on leaves or leaf extracts of cotton plants. EPG results showed that there were some differences among behaviors of cotton aphids on 2 Bt cotton and 1 non-Bt cotton lines. Cotton aphids performed similarly to leaf surface extracts from 3 cotton lines; and leaf surface chemicals, mainly volatiles and waxes, were almost identical in the components and concentrations among the cotton lines. However, three cotton lines were quite different from each other in the densities of certain kinds of covering trichomes. Therefore, the relationships between the physical characteristics and the searching behaviors of cotton aphids on the three cotton lines were constructed as the regression equations. Glandular trichomes and covering trichomes with 5 branches influenced the cotton aphids' searching behaviors effectively; and other trichomes with other branches affected aphids in varying ways. These results demonstrated that leaf surface physical factors of transgenic Bt cotton lines different from their parental non-Bt line could affect the penetration behaviors of non-target cotton aphids. Cotton aphids penetrate and feed more easily on two Bt cotton lines than on the non-Bt cotton line.  相似文献
