目的研究牙斑幽门螺杆菌与慢性胃炎之间的关系。方法对胃炎组、胃炎治疗组分别进行牙斑和胃黏膜幽门螺杆菌培养和比较。结果牙斑细菌培养:胃炎组阳性14例,阳性率为12.8%;治疗组阳性11例,阳性率为10.1%。胃黏膜细菌培养:胃炎组阳性47例,阳性率为43.1%;治疗组阳性19例,阳性率为17.4%。治疗前后比较牙斑标本差异无显著性(P〉0.05),胃黏膜标本差异有非常显著性(P〈0.001)。结论牙斑中确实存在着幽门螺杆菌,而且是胃内反复感染的源泉,以致慢性胃病反复发作,难以治愈。  相似文献

本实验从幼儿园和小学一年级的学生中选择5-8岁的无龋齿和有龋齿的儿童各45例,进行牙齿表面的菌群分布与龋齿关系的研究,结果在有龋组中分离到变形链球菌8株,放线菌6株及拟杆菌26株,而在无龋组中未分离到变形链球菌,分离到放线菌1株,拟杆菌14株,两组比较,以上三种菌有显著差异(X2检验P<0.05)。说明除变形链球菌是主要的致龋菌外〔1,2〕,还应考虑放线菌和拟杆菌在龋齿发生上的作用。此外,我们还发现两组的兼性厌氧菌的分布也有所不同,无龋组中分离到棒状杆菌29株,而有龋组中分离到棒状杆菌11株,小肠结肠炎耶尔森氏菌7株,两组也有明显差异,故我们认为龋齿发生的原因可能是多方面的,就病原菌来说,也可能是多种细菌的混合作用,从两组兼性厌氧菌与无芽胞厌氧菌的分布不同来看,亦应考虑龋齿的发生与口腔内生态平衡有关  相似文献

北京门头沟区斋堂镇东胡林遗址是重要的新石器时代早期遗址。本文描述了东胡林4号人(14C年龄约为8540aBP., 树轮校正年龄约为7500aBC.) 的上颌牙、下颌牙21枚。多数牙齿重度磨耗, 意味着当时人类处于狩猎—采集经济时代, 食物结构可能主要以坚硬食物(如朴树果核) 或高纤维食物为主。上第三臼齿退化缩小, X光透视检查为东胡林人下第三臼齿阻生提供了确凿无疑的证据。在4枚牙齿上发现龋洞, 其中左上第一臼齿、第二臼齿的龋蚀已破坏牙本质全层。严重的龋齿病揭示了东胡林4号人的口腔状态, 在一定程度上可能与经常性地摄取富含碳水化合物的食物有关。  相似文献

The orientation of striated wear facets on primate teeth serves as a useful guide for reconstructing jaw movements during mastication. Most wear facets on the molars are formed during one of the two well-documented movements, Phase I or Phase II, of the power stroke. Another jaw movement direction, “orthal retraction” (OR) has been proposed to account for a third set of facets occasionally present on the pointed tips of premolars and molars. Evidence advanced here indicates that OR facets on pointed anterior premolars (P3) of cercopithecoids are actually Phase I facets that have become reoriented as a result of a rotation of this tooth during its eruption. “Orthal retraction” probably does not exist as a discrete masticatory phase.  相似文献

In order to reassess previous hypotheses concerning dental size reduction of the posterior teeth during Pleistocene human evolution, current fossil dental evidence is examined. This evidence includes the large sample of hominid teeth found in recent excavations (1984–1993) in the Sima de los Huesos Middle Pleistocene cave site of the Sierra de Atapuerca (Burgos, Spain). The lower fourth premolars and molars of the Atapuerca hominids, probably older than 300 Kyr, have dimensions similar to those of modern humans. Further, these hominids share the derived state of other features of the posterior teeth with modern humans, such as a similar relative molar size and frequent absence of the hypoconulid, thus suggesting a possible case of parallelism. We believe that dietary changes allowed size reduction of the posterior teeth during the Middle Pleistocene, and the present evidence suggests that the selective pressures that operated on the size variability of these teeth were less restrictive than what is assumed by previous models of dental reduction. Thus, the causal relationship between tooth size decrease and changes in food-preparation techniques during the Pleistocene should be reconsidered. Moreover, the present evidence indicates that the differential reduction of the molars cannot be explained in terms of restriction of available growth space. The molar crown area measurements of a modern human sample were also investigated. The results of this study, as well as previous similar analyses, suggest that a decrease of the rate of cell proliferation, which affected the later-forming crown regions to a greater extent, may be the biological process responsible for the general and differential dental size reduction that occurred during human evolution. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

Bromage and Dean originally outlined a nondestructive method for the study of enamel formation and concluded that early hominids resembled the extant apes more closely than they did modern humans in their rates of growth and maturation. The method used assumed that an enamel circadian rhythmicity was referable to a longer near-weekly period represented by perikymata (periodic surface growth features). This assumption became a matter of debate and discussion. In this study, developing teeth in Macaca nemestrina were labeled with polychrome fluorescent dyes. Examination of the distribution of these dyes in two sectioned teeth provides experimental confirmation of enamel circadian periodicity.  相似文献

Dextransuccrase (E.C 2.4.1.5) is a key enzyme in S. mutans for the metabolism of sucrose which helps in the adherence and accumulation of bacteria on tooth surface leading to the formation of dental caries. Dextransuccrase resembles in its catalytic properties with the brush boarder sucrase and exhibits pH dependent inhibitory and stimulatory effects in response to Na+. In this communication we studied the effect of monovalent cations on the activity of dextransuccrase from S. mutans. The percentage inhibition of dextransuccrase was 65% at 0.5 mM NaCl which enhanced to 90% at 20 mM sodium concentration. However there was no effect on dextransucrase activity in presence of other monovalent cations (Rb+, Cs+, and K+) tested. Enzyme activity was enhanced 20–24% in acidic pH but was strongly inhibited (59–89%) around neutral and alkaline pH by 0.5–2.0 mM sodium chloride. Upon dialysis, 86% of enzyme activity was restored to control values. There was no effect of 2 mM NaCl on glucosyltransferase activity of the enzyme. Kinetic studies revealed that enzyme showed biphasic effects in response to Na+ ions. At acidic pH the enzyme exhibited mixed type of activation affecting both Vmax and Km, while in alkaline pH, the enzyme showed V- type effect reducing Vmax by 74% without affecting Km. The effects of sodium ions on dextransuccrase activity were specific, thus it can be useful to block its catalytic activity, and reducing the cariogenic potential of S. mutans.  相似文献

The high level of immunogenicity of peptides displayed in dense repetitive arrays on virus-like particles makes recombinant VLPs promising vaccine carriers. Here, we describe a platform for vaccine development based on the VLPs of RNA bacteriophage MS2. It serves for the engineered display of specific peptide sequences, but will also allow the construction of random peptide libraries from which specific binding activities can be recovered by affinity selection. Peptides representing the V3 loop of HIV gp120 and the ECL2 loop of the HIV coreceptor, CCR5, were inserted into a surface loop of MS2 coat protein. Both insertions disrupted coat VLP assembly, apparently by interfering with protein folding, but these defects were suppressed efficiently by genetically fusing coat protein's two identical polypeptides into a single-chain dimer. The resulting VLPs displayed the V3 and ECL2 peptides on their surfaces where they showed the potent immunogenicity that is the hallmark of VLP-displayed antigens. Experiments with random-sequence peptide libraries show the single-chain dimer to be highly tolerant of six, eight and ten amino acid insertions. MS2 VLPs support the display of a wide diversity of peptides in a highly immunogenic format, and they encapsidate the mRNAs that direct their synthesis, thus establishing the genotype/phenotype linkage necessary for recovery of affinity-selected sequences. The single-chain MS2 VLP therefore unites in a single structural platform the selective power of phage display with the high immunogenicity of VLPs.  相似文献

Sixteen dimensions were measured from the maxillary and mandibular dental arches of different ethnic groups of man, apes and monkeys. Multivariate analysis showed that discrimination was possible among the ethnic groups of man on the one hand and between the ape and monkey samples on the other. Nevertheless, the actual degree of discrimination between the primate samples depended upon whether the maxillary or mandibular arch dimensions were analysed. Furthermore, subsequent inclusion of the dental arch dimensions of fossil hominoid samples into the analysis confirmed the taxonomic significance of the dental arch, although its importance must await the acquisition of the more non-human primate data.  相似文献

目的:建立上颌第一前磨牙三维模型,以辅助牙体解剖学数字化教学和指导临床根管治疗术。方法:对人离体上颌第一前磨牙通过ConebeamCT扫描,获得DICOM格式影像,将获得的影像定位后利用Mimicsl0.0三维重建软件采集牙釉质、牙本质及髓腔的点数据,然后将采集到的点数据导入到MagicslO.0软件进行面网格化,将网格化后的图像标本进行光滑处理后保存,再次利用MimicslO.0三维重建软件进行数据处理,最终获得清晰的牙体及根管系统三维立体图像。结果:准确的建立了包含牙釉质、牙本质、牙髓腔的三维立体模型。结论:本实验方法建立的上颌第一前磨牙的三维模型,具有极高的真实性和精确性,对辅助教学、指导临床根管治疗都具有重要意义。为牙体解剖教学和口腔临床应用提供了一种简捷而精确的建模方法。  相似文献
