In a chemosystematic investigation of Digitalideae (Plantaginaceae), the water-soluble part of extracts of two species of Digitalis, two species of Isoplexis, as well as Erinus alpinus and Lafuentea rotundifolia were studied with regard to their content of main carbohydrates, iridoids and caffeoyl phenylethanoid glycosides (CPGs). Digitalis and Isoplexis contained sorbitol, cornoside and a number of other phenylethanoid glycosides including the new tyrosol beta-D-mannopyranoside, sceptroside but were found to lack iridoid glucosides. Erinus contained mainly glucose, the new 8,9-double bond iridoid, erinoside, and a number of known iridoid glucosides including two esters of 6-rhamnopyranosylcatalpol, as well as the CPG poliumoside. Finally, Lafuentea was characterized by the presence of glucose, aucubin and cryptamygin B but apparently lacked CPGs. The chemosystematic significance of the isolated compounds is discussed.  相似文献

Total paeony glucosides (TPG) extracted from the roots of Radix Paeoniae Rubrae, have been approved for the therapy of rheumatoid arthritis by the State Food and Drug Administration. We previously demonstrated the myocardial protective effects of TPG in both isoprenaline-induced myocardial ischemia rat and acute myocardial infarction rat. However, the underlying mechanism of TPG effect in cardiomyocytes remains to be investigated. The aims of this study were to elucidate the effect of TPG on the activities of antioxidant defense targets and the bioenergetic system in rat cardiomyocytes. The changes of viability, antioxidant defense system activities, protein contents, and mitochondrial functions in tert-butyl hydroperoxide challenged H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts were evaluated. The results suggest that TPG ameliorated cardiomyoblast dysfunction by preserving antioxidant defense and bioenergetic system.  相似文献

Two new acylated drimane sesquiterpenoid glucosides, saxifragoside A and B, have been isolated from the methanol extract of Petrorhagia saxifraga, a perennial herbaceous plant typical of the Mediterranean vegetation. The structures of these compounds have been elucidated on the basis of extensive 2D NMR spectroscopic analyses, including COSY, TOCSY, NOESY, HSQC, CIGAR-HMBC, H2BC and HSQC-TOCSY, along with Q-TOF HRMS2 analysis. As drimane glucosides have already been reported in other plants of Petrorhagia genus, they could represent a useful chemotaxonomic marker for this genus.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Ligularia thomsonii has led to the isolation of three new phenylpropanoid glucosides ligularoside I (1), ligularoside II (2) and ligularoside III (3) along with nine known compounds; cinnamic acid (4), 3-phenylpropanoic acid (5), 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid (6), 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (7), p-coumaric acid (8), caffeic acid (9), 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid (10), kaempferol 3-O-β-d-glucopyranoside (11) and 3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (12), hitherto unreported from L. thomsonii. Their chemical structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and chemical transformation. All these compounds were tested for antioxidant activity using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assay. Among them, compounds 9, 10 and 12 showed significant antioxidant activity against DPPH radicals with IC50 of 19.6, 23.3 and 8.9 μm, respectively.  相似文献

目的:研究赤芍总苷体外抗氧化活性及对大鼠肝星状细胞HSC-T6细胞增殖的影响。方法:采用DPPH法测定赤芍总苷体外清除DPPH自由基及抗氧化活性,根据清除率曲线,确定EC50值;采用MTT法考察赤芍总苷对大鼠肝星状细胞HSC-T6细胞增殖的影响,确定起效剂量,并考察其量效关系。结果:赤芍总苷对DPPH自由基具有较强清除作用,其对DPPH的清除率的回归方程为y=7.4432x+0.6111(r=0.9967),EC50值为6.64 mg/L;赤芍总苷对HSC-T6的增殖具有明显的抑制作用,给药浓度为1.152mg/mL时,其对HSC-T6细胞增殖的抑制率可达39.240%。结论:赤芍总苷具有较强的抗氧化活性,对肝星状细胞的增殖有一定抑制作用。  相似文献

One novel bis(monoterpenoid) indole alkaloid glucoside, hirsutaside D (1), along with three known compounds, bahienoside A (2), bahienoside B (3) and neonaucleoside B (4), were isolated from the leaves of U. hirsuta. The structure of compound 1 was elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis and chemical means. Characterization of compounds 24 was based on spectral analysis and comparison with the literature. Their cytotoxic effects on four human tumor cell lines were examined.  相似文献

In order to evaluate the positional specificity for a glucoside group in the hydrolysis of flavonoid glucosides in the rat small intestine, β-glucosidase activity was measured with the quercetin monoglucosides, quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Q3G), quercetin-4′-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Q4′G) and quercetin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Q7G), as well as with quercetin-3-O-rutinoside (rutin) and p-nitrophenyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (NPG) by using the HPLC technique. Enzymes were prepared from rat small intestinal mucosa of the duodenum, jejunum and ileum, among which the enzyme activity of the jejunum was highest for all the glycosides tested. Q4′G was the richest substrate for a β-glucosidase solution among these glycosides, while rutin and NPG were both poor substrates. This suggests that dietary flavonoid glucosides are primarily hydrolyzed and liberated aglycones in the jejunum.  相似文献

Bacillus circulans strain YUS-2 was isolated as the strongest antioxidant-producer in fermentation of sesame oil cake (SOC, defatted residue yielded from sesame seed oil production). Two major strong antioxidants from fermented SOC were purified and identified as known sesaminol triglucoside and sesaminol diglucoside, however, our results demonstrated that the fermentation process with B. circulans YUS-2 was highly effective to gain the extraction efficiency of the sesaminol glucosides.  相似文献

The irreversible nature of reactions catalysed by P450s makes these enzymes landmarks in the evolution of plant metabolic pathways. Founding members of P450 families are often associated with general (i.e. primary) metabolic pathways, restricted to single copy or very few representatives, indicative of purifying selection. Recruitment of those and subsequent blooms into multi-member gene families generates genetic raw material for functional diversification, which is an inherent characteristic of specialized (i.e. secondary) metabolism. However, a growing number of highly specialized P450s from not only the CYP71 clan indicate substantial contribution of convergent and divergent evolution to the observed general and specialized metabolite diversity. We will discuss examples of how the genetic and functional diversification of plant P450s drives chemical diversity in light of plant evolution. Even though it is difficult to predict the function or substrate of a P450 based on sequence similarity, grouping with a family or subfamily in phylogenetic trees can indicate association with metabolism of particular classes of compounds. Examples will be given that focus on multi-member gene families of P450s involved in the metabolic routes of four classes of specialized metabolites: cyanogenic glucosides, glucosinolates, mono- to triterpenoids and phenylpropanoids.  相似文献
