Indolyl-3-butyric acid and vitamin D3 enhance adventitious root formation in green cuttings of Populus tremula L. A significant synergistic effect is observed between these two substances. The number of roots formed on application of the individual substances and on simultaneous application depends on the growth substance concentration, the timing of application, the age of the cuttings and the number of leaves. Of the vitamin D3 animal metabolites tested, only 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 markedly promoted adventitious rooting, and this to a lesser extent than vitamin D3 itself. The 3-O-glucopyranosides of vitamin D3 and the vitamin D3 animal metabolites, promoted rooting to the same extent as the parent compounds. 相似文献

Pedicularis palustris contains the iridoid glucosides aucubin and gardoside methyl ester, and five hydroxy derivatives of 8-epi-deoxyloganin, together with boschnaloside and three hydroxy derivatives of boschnaloside. From P. silvatica, plantarenaloside, 8-epiloganin and euphroside have been isolated. Euphroside is also present in P. lapponica, in addition to aucubin and mussaenoside. Methods are described for the quantitative extraction and separation of the pyrimidine glucosides, vicine and convicine. The contents of these two substances in germinating seeds and young seedlings of Vicia faba remain constant for the first 2 weeks. Net synthesis and accumulation of vicine and convicine occurs in developing seeds. That the synthesis occurs within the pod and the pyrimidine glucosides are not translocated into them, was shown by injection of 14C-labelled precursors into the pods. [1-14C]- and [2-14C]-acetate were weakly incorporated but much greater incorporation was observed with [U-14C]-aspartic acid and [6-14C]-orotic acid. UDPG: sterol glucosyltransferase and acyltransferase which catalyse acylation of steryl glucosides are active in leaves, roots and flowers during the whole vegetative period of Calendula officinalis. The high activity of glucosyltransferase in young, developing tissues and its subsequent rapid decrease in activity in mature organs suggests that steryl glucosides are involved in the formation of some cell structures rather than in sterol transport as such within the plant. 相似文献

Four new diterpene glucosides, namely perovskiaditerpenosides A – D ( 1 – 4 ), were isolated from the BuOH extract of Perovskia atriplicifolia. Their structures were well elucidated by chemical methods and comprehensive spectroscopic analyses including MS, IR, and NMR (1D and 2D). The newly isolated compounds were screened for their cytotoxic activity against HepG2, NB4, HeLa, K562, MCF7, PC3, and HL60.
