1. Suitable agar plate media were selected for isolation of nucleotide producing strains, by salvage synthesis, from natural sources. Since this agar medium contains a high concentration of phosphates, manganese and glucose, it is specific for these bacteria.

2. With this plate medium, 113 bacterial strains accumulating 5′inosinic acid (IMP) or IMP-like substances were isolated effectively from feces of a variety of birds and mammals and from soils.

Some of the strains isolated were recognized to accumulate other nucleotides, purine bases and sugars, such as guanine nucleotides, XMP, xanthine, ribulose or xylnlose, with or without hypoxanthine in the media.

3. Five strains of IMP accumulating bacteria were identified; two were classified as Brevibacteriurm, two as Corynebacterium and one as Arthrobacterium species by taxonomical studies. But their characteristics did not completely coincide with those of bacteria described in Bergey’s manual.

4. One of the IMP producing bacteria isolated, culture No. 21–26, actually consisted of two separate strains, namely No. 21–26–101 and No. 21–26–102. The highest production of IMP or guanine nucleotides was obtained, when each strain was inoculated together to the fermentation medium from each seed culture in the same inoculum size.

5. The nucleotide productions by No. 21–26–101 or No. 21–26–102 with authentic strains were examined by the mixed culture technique. It was found that production of IMP or guanine nucleotides by Brevibacterium ammoniagenes ATCC 6871 was stimulated remarkably in the presence of No. 21–26–102.  相似文献

应用相对生长法和样方收获法研究了广西岑溪市马尾松不同光环境处理下营造的马尾松-肉桂人工复层林的生物量及生产力.结果显示:(1)不同处理中,枯落物层生物量随林分郁闭度的增加而增加,灌木层、草本层生物量则随着林分郁闭度的增加而减少;马尾松-肉桂人工复层林模式下林分的生物量、生产力以及群落总生物量远大于马尾松单层林.(2)不同处理的马尾松-肉桂人工复层林林分净生产量均大于马尾松单层林,且上层林马尾松郁闭度在0.5~0.7条件下与肉桂形成的复层林更有利于提高环境资源的获取能力,其中以马尾松林分郁闭度为0.5、密度781株/hm2以及肉桂密度5 952株/hm2的人工复层林模式的成层性最明显,群落生物量、乔木层生物量、净生产力水平最高,分别达167.64 t/hm2、160.549 t/hm2、9.146 t/(hm2·a),且分别高于马尾松单层林14.9%、18.5%、68.7%,是经济效益和生态效益最理想的复合林模式.研究表明,光环境处理对群落生物量空间分布有显著影响,对林分各器官生物量的分配有较大影响,复层林能提高乔木层生物量在总群落生物量中的分配.人工复层混交林比单层林更有利于提高获取环境资源的能力并增加林分的稳定性.  相似文献

为了充分利用米槁林下空间,从化感效应的角度研究人工米槁林下土壤水浸提液对绿壳砂生长状况的影响,探索米槁与绿壳砂建立间作经营系统的可能性。以绿壳砂为受体,米槁根际土壤与林间土壤水浸提液为供试液,设置6个浓度0、0.5、1、5、10、50 mg/mL的水浸提液处理绿壳砂,对绿壳砂种子萌发和幼苗生理生化指标进行测定,以此探讨米槁根际土壤与林间土壤水浸提液对绿壳砂生长的影响。结果表明:米槁两种土壤水浸提液对绿壳砂种子的萌发大体上呈现低浓度促进高浓度抑制的浓度效应,但随着浓度的变化,差异不显著;米槁林间土壤水浸提液对绿壳砂幼苗的总生物量及苗高都表现出显著的促进作用,呈先增加后缓慢减小的趋势,根际土壤水浸提液则在高浓度时表现出抑制作用。从化感效应综合指数看出,2种水浸提液对可溶性蛋白质含量、游离脯氨酸(Pro)含量、土壤脲酶(S-UE)活性表现为抑制作用,其余都为促进作用,且林间土壤的促进效果强于根际土壤。应用GC-MS从米槁根际土壤与林间土壤中分别鉴定出18种化合物,虽含有酚酸和烷烃类等化感物质,但在一定浓度范围内,对绿壳砂种子萌发、幼苗生长没有明显的抑制作用,且在米槁林土水浸提液处理下表现出更强的适应性。因此,在米槁林下套种绿壳砂时采取幼苗移栽法,构建米槁-绿壳砂林药间作经营体系具有一定可行性。  相似文献

Taxonomy of Cinnamomum Schaeff. of Lauraceae remains problematic because recent phylogenetic studies have suggested that this genus is not monophyletic. In this study, we assembled three sequence matrices including plastomes (datamatrix I), nrITS sequences alone (datamatrix II), and nrITS plus plastid psbA‐trnH sequences (datamatrix III) of the CinnamomumOcotea complex of Lauraceae and conducted a new phylogenetic study with thusfar the most extensive species sampling of the CinnamomumOcotea group. We determined that the Old World Cinnamomum is diphyletic: sect. Camphora Meisn. is sister to Sassafras J.Presl and sect. Cinnamomum is sister to the African Kuloa Trofimov & Rohwer. A recent study indicated that characters of leaf micromorphological anatomy can define the two clades: one possessing reticulate periclinal and the other having non‐reticulate periclinal walls. As result, we divided the genus Cinnamomum of Lauraceae into two genera, i.e., Cinnamomum and Camphora Fabr. The generic name Cinnamomum is retained for those species mainly having reticulate periclinal epidermal cell walls, inconspicuous non‐perulate terminal buds and usually tripliveined leaves; the oldest generic name, Camphora, is applied to the second group which contains those species mainly possessing non‐reticulate periclinal epidermal cell walls, prominent perulate terminal buds and pinnately‐veined leaves. A census of the species and their type specimens listed under Cinnamomum in Asia resulted in the transfer of 18 species to Camphora, including 15 new combinations.  相似文献

探讨了桂林岩溶石山阴香种群的高度、胸径和冠幅结构以及三者间的相互关系,并采用分异指数量化了种群个体间高度、胸围和冠幅结构的差异程度。结果表明:阴香种群个体高度集中分布在2-8m;胸径集中分布在2-6cm;冠幅多集中分布在1-4m,少数分布在5-7m之间;阴香种群个体的高度、胸围和冠幅多数为中等分异;阴香种群以幼树和小树个体占多数,自然更新能力较好,处于稳定的增长状态,这将有利于增加种群结构的复杂性和稳定性。  相似文献

Aims
Monitoring and quantifying the biomass and its distribution in urban trees and forests are crucial to understanding the role of vegetation in an urban environment. In this paper, an estimation method for biomass of urban forests was developed for the Shanghai metropolis, China, based on spatial analysis and a wide variety of data from field inventory and remote sensing.
Methods
An optimal regression model between forest biomass and auxiliary variables was established by stepwise regression analysis. The residual value of regression model was computed for each of the sites sampled and interpolated by Inverse-distance weighting (IDW) to predict residual errors of other sites not subjected to sampling. Forest biomass in the study area was estimated by combining the regression model based on remote sensing image data and residual errors of spatial distribution map. According to the distribution of plantations and management practices, a total of 93 sample plots were established between June 2011 and June 2012 in the Shanghai metropolis. To determine a suitable model, several spectral vegetation indices relating to forest biomass and structure such as normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), ratio vegetation index (RVI), difference vegetation index (DVI), soil-adjusted vegetation index (SAVI), and modified soil-adjusted vegetation index (MSAVI), and new images synthesized through band combinations such as the sum of TM2, TM3 and TM4 (denoted Band 234), and the sum of TM3, TM4 and TM5 (denoted Band 345) were used as alternative auxiliary parameters .
Important findings
The biomass density in urban forests of the Shanghai metropolis varied from 15 to 120 t·hm-2. The higher densities of forest biomass concentrated mostly in the urban areas, e.g. in districts of Jing’an and Huangpu, mostly ranging from 35 to 70 t·hm-2. Suburban localities such as the districts of Jiading and Qingpu had lower biomass densities at around 15 to 50 t·hm-2. The biomass density of Cinnamomum camphora trees across the Shanghai metropolis varied between 20 and 110 t·hm-2. The spatial biomass distribution of urban forests displayed a tendency of higher densities in northeastern areas and lower densities in southwestern areas. The total biomass was 3.57 million tons (Tg) for urban forests and 1.33 Tg for C. camphora trees. The overall forest biomass was also found to be distributed mostly in the suburban areas with a fraction of 93.9%, whereas the urban areas shared a fraction of only 6.1%. In terms of the areas, the suburban and urban forests accounted for 95.44% and 4.56%, respectively, of the total areas in the Shanghai metropolis. Among all the administrative districts, the Chongming county and the new district of Pudong had the highest and the second highest biomass, accounting for 20.1% and 19.18% of the total forest biomass, respectively. In contrast, the Jing’an district accounted for only 0.11% of the total forest biomass. The root-mean-square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE) and mean relative error (MRE) of the model for estimating urban forest biomass in this study were 8.39, 6.86 and 24.22%, respectively, decreasing by 57.69%, 55.43% and 64.00% compared to the original simple regression model and by 62.21%, 58.50%, 65.40% compared to the spatial analysis method. Our results indicated that a more efficient way to estimate urban forest biomass in the Shanghai metropolis might be achieved by combining spatial analysis with regression analysis. In fact, the estimated results based on the proposed model are also more comparable to the up-scaled forest inventory data at a city scale than the results obtained using regression analysis or spatial analysis alone.  相似文献

以湖南省林业科学院龙伏实验基地的3年生樟根生产(root production method,RPM)苗和同龄常规技术培育的苗木(以下简称常规苗)为研究对象,采集两种苗木的根系和根际土,观察根系上菌根形态,并对其苗木样品进行高通量测序研究,探索二者根系菌根特征及根系、根际土丛枝菌根真菌(arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi,AMF)群落结构及土壤微生境差异,旨在为进行接种有效性菌根苗木来改善常规苗木的土壤微生境,进而培育高质量苗木提供理论依据。结果显示:2种樟苗木根系均显示AM菌根特征,未见外生菌根结构。测序得到属于AMF群落的有效序列共25 738条,隶属1门,2纲,3目,5科,5属,按有效序列占比从高到低依次为AcaulosporaGlomusDiversisporaRhizophagusParaglomus。根生产法(RPM)苗和常规苗的优势属均为AcaulosporaGlomus,只是RPM苗中Glomus占比高(在根、根际土内占比分别为28.04%、57.36%)而常规苗中Acaulospora占比高(在根、根际土内占比分别为99.58%、42.2%)。2种苗木均是根际土内的丰富度指数(Ace和Chao)远高于根系,并且RPM苗根际土的丰富度指数高于常规苗,但二者根系内的丰富度指数无显著差异(P<0.05)。冗余分析结果显示,土壤pH和有效磷是决定AMF群落结构的主要影响因子。不同理化因子对AMF群落的菌属影响程度也不同。  相似文献

南京中山植物园鸟类对香樟 果实(种子)的取食   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
香樟(Cinnamomum camphora)是亚热带地区广泛分布的常绿阔叶树种,其果实数量多、果期长,可为鸟类提供大量食物资源。2018年11月至2019年2月,借助Safari 10×26变焦双筒望远镜,采用焦点扫描法对南京中山植物园内访问香樟果实(种子)的鸟类行为进行观察,详细记录鸟类的种类、取食基质、取食次数、取食时间、取食数量和取食方式等信息。研究期间有效记录达48d,累计记录到27种鸟类1021次取食香樟果实(种子)行为,存在2种取食基质(地面和树上)和3种取食方式(整吞果实、啄食果肉和取食种子)。T检验显示,不同鸟类对香樟果实(种子)的取食次数存在显著差异(t=3.096,df=26,P 0.01);不同月份间鸟类对香樟香樟果实(种子)的平均访问只数、平均取食次数、平均取食时间和取食数量均存在极显著差异(P0.001)。白头鹎(Pycnonotussinensis)、乌鸫(Turdusmendarinus)和灰喜鹊(Cyanopicacyanus)是访问次数及取食量最多的3种鸟类。单因素方差分析(One-way ANOVA)表明,上述这3种鸟类的取食数量存在极显著差异(F3, 598=25.219,P 0.001)。按照时间统计,11月份访问的鸟类种类和数量最多,1月份鸟类的取食次数、时间和数量最多。鸟类的形态特征(体重、体长和嘴峰长)与取食数量呈显著正相关,其中,体重和体长对取食数量的影响比嘴峰长的影响更显著,但嘴峰长影响鸟类对果实的取食方式。在鸟类常活动和停歇的树木下方地面往往散落着较多表面洁净、无果肉包裹的香樟种子,且园内人工林和自然更新林地可见许多香樟幼苗,表明鸟类对香樟具有潜在传播作用。  相似文献
