The Seine estuary (France) is currently one of the world’s most contaminated estuaries, due in particular to its high cadmium and lead content. Proper understanding of contaminant transfer, transformation and retention mechanisms throughout the estuary and up to the adjacent marine zone require a range of studies involving data collections, experiments, and modeling tool. A multivariable transport model (SiAM-3D) was used to simulate dissolved and particulate transport and it is applied to several calculation grids; a speciation model (MOCO) was used to select key species and obtain a schematic system representation. The coupled model for Cd and Pb was compared with field measurements. The complementary character of various tools (model applied to annual time scale, in situ measurements and experiments) allowed to explore and quantify various hypotheses on the high dissolved cadmium concentrations observed during low river flow. The target is to achieve a compromise between acceptable computing times and adequate result accuracy. Although particle and contaminant behaviour is globally well-reproduced by the coarse grid, calculation errors relating to bayward fluxes and stocks deposited inside the estuary were highlighted after comparison with the fine grid.  相似文献

The title complexes, [M(Diap)2(OAc)2] · H2O (M = Zn,Cd; Diap = 1,3-diazepane-2-thione; OAc = acetate) with an MO2S2 configuration, have been characterized by X-ray crystallography as well as FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. In these complexes, the metal atoms lie in a pseudo-tetrahedral environment and are coordinated by the thione sulfur atoms of two neutral 1,3-diazepane-2-thione ligands and one oxygen atom from each of two monodentate acetate anions. In both complexes, there are two intramolecular N-H?O hydrogen bonds, each being between one NH group of a Diap ligand and the uncoordinated O atom of an OAc ligand. The water molecule is also involved in hydrogen bonds, as an acceptor and as a donor twice, linking together three symmetry-related complexes. The Cd complex undergoes a structural phase transition from a monoclinic form at 150 K with Z′ = 2 to a smaller monoclinic cell at room temperature with Z′ = 1 without loss of crystallinity. The Zn complex does not exhibit an equivalent phase transition, and at 150 K is isostructural with the room-temperature form of the Cd complex. All three crystallographically independent molecules found for the Cd complex (two at low temperature and one at room temperature) have essentially the same structure except for small changes in the conformations of the ligands. Tetrahedral coordination with monodentate carboxylate ligands is common for Zn complexes of this kind, but is unusual for Cd complexes, and is the result of the bulky Diap ligands.  相似文献

N、P、K肥对香根草修复土壤镉、锌污染效率的影响   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
通过盆栽试验研究在30 mg/kg镉(Cd)污染土壤条件下N[CO(NH2)2:100、200、300 mg/kg土]、P(P2O5:50、100、200 mg/kg土)和K(KCl:100、200、300 mg/kg土)处理对香根草修复土壤Cd和锌(Zn)污染效率的影响。结果表明:3种N处理能促进香根草地上部生长,而且显著提高地上部特别是叶的Cd和Zn含量,导致其修复效率成倍显著增加;200 mg/kg K处理显著提高Zn修复效率,但300 mg/kg K和50、200 mg/kg P处理却显著降低Cd、Zn修复效率。因此,为改善香根草对较贫瘠土壤中Cd、Zn污染的修复效率,应对香根草适施N肥,并控制或者不施P、K肥为佳。  相似文献

采用室内模拟实验和连续形态分级方法研究了Cd、Pb投加浓度对其在黑土中化学形态分布及油菜生长和吸收Cd、Pb量的影响.结果表明:随Cd、Pb投加量的增加,土壤中Cd交换态含量增幅较大,Pb碳酸盐结合态、Fe-Mn氧化物结合态含量增幅较大;外源Cd在土壤中的存在形态以交换态和残留态为主,Pb的交换态比例相对较低,其存在形态主要为残留态;土壤Cd、Pb投加浓度较低时,促进了油菜的生长,投加浓度较高时,对油菜生长的抑制作用较为明显;地下部分Cd、Pb含量远高于地上部分,与Cd相比,Pb向地上部的迁移率相对较小;土壤中Cd、Pb各形态含量与油菜地下、地上部分吸收的Cd、Pb量均呈显著正相关,与干质量呈负相关;交换态Cd、Pb对油菜干质量影响最大,碳酸盐结合态对油菜吸收Cd、Pb的贡献最大.  相似文献

运用扫描电镜技术对不同浓度梯度的Pb2 和Cd2 重金属离子处理下的拟寡水螅(Hydrapseudoligactis)形态学变化进行了观察。结果表明:水螅形态变化主要表现为与Pb2 和Cd2 浓度、水螅世代数目以及离子种类的相关性。与空白对照相比,处理组在Cd2 ≥0.04mg.L-1,Pb2 ≥0.25mg.L-1浓度下时,随着培养世代数目的增加,水螅体表逐渐发生一些不可逆的变化,皮层腐蚀,结构裂解;体壁胚层结构模糊,组织松散,刺丝囊肿胀裸露甚至破裂;上皮肌肉细胞、间细胞、刺细胞等数目减少并变形。同时,Cd2 处理组对其形态学的损伤和致畸作用均明显强于相对应世代数的Pb2 处理组。  相似文献

Cd36 is a small-molecular-weight integral membrane protein expressed in a diverse, but select, range of cell types. It has an equally diverse range of ligands and physiological functions, which has implicated Cd36 in a number of diseases including insulin resistance, diabetes, and, most notably, atherosclerosis. The protein is reported to reside in detergent-resistant microdomains within the plasma membrane and to form homo- and hetero-intermolecular interactions. These data suggest that this class B scavenger receptor may gain functionality for ligand binding, and/or ligand internalization, by formation of protein complexes at the cell surface. Here, we have overexpressed Cd36 in insect cells, purified the recombinant protein to homogeneity, and analyzed its stability and solubility in a variety of nonionic and zwitterionic detergents. Octylglucoside conferred the greatest degree of stability, and by analytical ultracentrifugation we show that the protein is monomeric. A solid-phase ligand-binding assay demonstrated that the purified monomeric protein retains high affinity for acetylated and oxidized low-density lipoproteins. Therefore, no accessory proteins are required for interaction with ligand, and binding is a property of the monomeric fold of the protein. Thus, the highly purified and functional Cd36 should be suitable for crystallization in octylglucoside, and the in vitro ligand-binding assay represents a promising screen for identification of bioactive molecules targeting atherogenesis at the level of ligand binding.  相似文献

A pot-culture experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus (Glomus macrocarpum Tul. and Tul.) on plant growth and Cd2+uptake by Apium graveolens L. in soil with different levels of Cd2+. Mycorrhizal (M) and non-mycorrhizal (NM) plants were grown in soil with 0, 5, 10, 40 and 80 Cd2+ mg kg−1soil. The infectivity of the fungus was not affected by the presence of Cd2+ in the soil. M plants showed better growth and less Cd2+ toxicity symptoms. Cd2+ root : shoot ratio was higher in M plants than in NM plants. These differences were more evident at highest Cd2+ level (80 mg kg−1 soil). Chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b concentrations were significantly higher in AM-inoculated celery leaves. The dilution effect due to increased biomass, immobilization of Cd2+ in root and enhanced P-uptake in M plants may be related to attenuation of Cd2+toxicity in celery.  相似文献

Background and Aims Contractile roots are known and studied mainly in connection with the process of shrinkage of their basal parts, which acts to pull the shoot of the plant deeper into the ground. Previous studies have shown that the specific structure of these roots results in more intensive water uptake at the base, which is in contrast to regular root types. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the basal parts of contractile roots are also more active in translocation of cadmium to the shoot.Methods Plants of the South African ornamental species Tritonia gladiolaris were cultivated in vitro for 2 months, at which point they possessed well-developed contractile roots. They were then transferred to Petri dishes with horizontally separated compartments of agar containing 50 µmol Cd(NO3)2 in the region of the root base or the root apex. Seedlings of 4-d-old maize (Zea mays) plants, which do not possess contractile roots, were also transferred to similar Petri dishes. The concentrations of Cd in the leaves of the plants were compared after 10 d of cultivation. Anatomical analyses of Tritonia roots were performed using appropriately stained freehand cross-sections.Key Results The process of contraction required specific anatomical adaptation of the root base in Tritonia, with less lignified and less suberized tissues in comparison with the subapical part of the root. These unusual developmental characteristics were accompanied by more intensive translocation of Cd ions from the basal part of contractile roots to the leaves than from the apical–subapical root parts. The opposite effects were seen in the non-contractile roots of maize, with higher uptake and transport by the apical parts of the root and lower uptake and transport by the basal part.Conclusions The specific characteristics of contractile roots may have a significant impact on the uptake of ions, including toxic metals from the soil surface layers. This may be important for plant nutrition, for example in the uptake of nutrients from upper soil layers, which are richer in humus in otherwise nutrient-poor soils, and also has implications for the uptake of surface-soil pollutants.  相似文献

Auxin and cadmium (Cd) stress play critical roles during root development. There are only a few reports on the mechanisms by which Cd stress influences auxin homeostasis and affects primary root (PR) and lateral root (LR) development, and almost nothing is known about how auxin and Cd interfere with root hair (RH) development. Here, we characterize rice osaux1 mutants that have a longer PR and shorter RHs in hydroponic culture, and that are more sensitive to Cd stress compared to wild‐type (Dongjin). OsAUX1 expression in root hair cells is different from that of its paralogous gene, AtAUX1, which is expressed in non‐hair cells. However, OsAUX1, like AtAUX1, localizes at the plasma membrane and appears to function as an auxin tranporter. Decreased auxin distribution and contents in the osaux1 mutant result in reduction of OsCyCB1;1 expression and shortened PRs, LRs and RHs under Cd stress, but may be rescued by treatment with the membrane‐permeable auxin 1‐naphthalene acetic acid. Treatment with the auxin transport inhibitors 1‐naphthoxyacetic acid and N‐1‐naphthylphthalamic acid increased the Cd sensitivity of WT rice. Cd contents in the osaux1 mutant were not altered, but reactive oxygen species‐mediated damage was enhanced, further increasing the sensitivity of the osaux1 mutant to Cd stress. Taken together, our results indicate that OsAUX1 plays an important role in root development and in responses to Cd stress.  相似文献

通过盆栽试验,选用高油品种豫花15和高蛋白品种XB023,研究了不同浓度钙对镉胁迫下不同类型花生品种营养生长、叶片叶绿素含量、光合速率、保护酶活性等生理特性及产量和品质的影响.结果表明: 施钙可以缓解镉胁迫对花生植株主茎高和侧枝长的抑制作用,增加花生植株干物质量,提高叶片叶绿素含量和光合速率,提高叶片超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、过氧化物酶(POD)活性和可溶性蛋白质含量,降低丙二醛(MDA)的积累量,减轻镉胁迫对花生叶片的伤害;施钙可以缓解镉胁迫对花生的减产作用,增加花生荚果和籽仁产量,其增产的主要原因是增加了单株结荚数和出仁率;施钙可以促使籽仁中可溶性糖向粗脂肪和蛋白质转化,增加籽仁中脂肪和蛋白质含量,改善镉胁迫下花生籽仁品质.施钙可以降低两花生品种籽仁中镉含量,对豫花15的降低效果好于XB023.  相似文献
