A greenhouse experiment was set up to investigate if infrequently and frequently occurring species respond differently to simulated habitat changes. Two frequently occurring (Bryum pseudotriquetrum and Calliergonella cuspidata) and two infrequently occurring (Hamatocaulis vernicosus and Paludella squarrosa) rich fen bryophytes were grown in mixed culture and subjected to rainwater or groundwater and three levels of N, ammonium nitrate (0, 1 and 3?mg?N?L–1) and P, potassium phosphate (0, 0.05 and 0.1?mg?P/L). All species responded negatively to higher N-levels and three of the four species responded negatively to rainwater and higher P-levels. C. cuspidata had highest relative growth rate (RGR) in all treatments, and the infrequently occurring species had lower RGR and were more negatively affected by high levels of N than the frequently occurring species. A negative effect of rainwater seemed to be caused by higher background levels of N in rainwater compared to groundwater. We found a negative effect of high initial bryophyte density in three of the four species indicating density-dependent inhibition between species. We suggest that maintenance of oligotrophic conditions by recharge of nutrient-poor groundwater is vital for conservation of infrequently as well as frequently occurring rich fen bryophytes.  相似文献

以中亚热带马尾松林和苦槠林为对象,原位收集根际和非根际土壤、树木不同生态功能的根系,开展15 ℃、25 ℃、35 ℃和45 ℃恒温培养模拟试验,采用密闭气室碱液吸收法测定53 d内CO2释放的动态变化.结果表明: 两种森林类型不同温度下土壤矿化CO2释放速率的根际效应介于1.12~3.09,且培养前期高于培养后期;15 ℃下马尾松林和苦槠林差异不显著,25 ℃和35 ℃下前者低于后者,45 ℃下则相反.不同培养温度下两树种吸收根分解的CO2释放速率均高于过渡根和贮存根,且马尾松均低于苦槠.两种森林类型CO2释放的Q10值均为土壤(1.21~1.83)显著高于根系(0.96~1.36).两种森林类型土壤矿化CO2释放的Q10值差异不显著,而马尾松根系分解CO2释放的Q10值高于苦槠.推断全球变暖导致的土壤矿化CO2释放的增量将远远高于根系分解,且马尾松林高于苦槠林;地带性顶极群落应对气候变化的抵抗力强于先锋树种群落.  相似文献

Fragmentation reduces population sizes, increases isolation between habitats and can result in restricted dispersal of pollen and seeds. Given that diploid seed dispersal contributes more to shaping fine-scale spatial genetic structure (SGS) than haploid pollen flow, we tested whether fine-scale SGS can be sensitive to fragmentation even if extensive pollen dispersal is maintained. Castanopsis sclerophylla (Lindley & Paxton) Schottky (Fagaceae), a wind-pollinated and gravity seed-dispersed tree, was studied in an area of southeast China where its populations have been fragmented to varying extents by human activity. Using different age classes of trees in areas subject to varying extents of fragmentation, we found no significant difference in genetic diversity between prefragmentation vs. postfragmentation C. sclerophylla subpopulations. Genetic differentiation among postfragmentation subpopulations was also only slightly lower than among prefragmentation subpopulations. In the most fragmented habitat, selfing rates were significantly higher than zero in prefragmentation, but not postfragmentation, cohorts. These results suggest that fragmentation had not decreased gene flow among these populations and that pollen flow remains extensive. However, significantly greater fine-scale SGS was found in postfragmentation subpopulations in the most fragmented habitat, but not in less fragmented habitats. This alteration in SGS reflected more restricted seed dispersal, induced by changes in the physical environments and the prevention of secondary seed dispersal by rodents. An increase in SGS can therefore result from more restricted seed dispersal, even in the face of extensive pollen flow, making it a sensitive indicator of the negative consequences of population fragmentation.  相似文献

采用乡土珍贵阔叶树种改造大面积针叶人工纯林已经成为我国亚热带地区人工林近自然化经营的有效模式.采用样地调查与生物量实测方法,研究了我国南亚热带广西3个不同林龄红锥人工林(10、20和27年生)的不同器官、凋落物层和土壤层的碳含量,以及不同林龄红锥人工林的乔木层、凋落物层和土壤层碳贮量及其分配特征.结果表明:红锥不同器官碳含量为49.7%~57.9%;凋落物层碳含量为40.8% ~ 50.5%,而且未分解层>半分解层;土壤层(0~60 cm)碳含量随林龄增加而增大,随土层深度的增加而下降.10、20和27年生红锥人工林碳贮量分别为182.42、234.75和269.75 t·hm-2,其中,乔木层分别占19.8%、32.0%和32.8%,凋落物层分别占1.5%、1.6%和1.3%,土壤层分别占78.7%、66.4%和65.9%.3个红锥人工林的年净固碳量分别为4.70、5.64和5.18 t· hm-2.红锥具有较高的固碳能力,是发展多目标森林经营模式的理想树种.  相似文献

通过生态位空间分割,应用多维生态位宽度和生态位重叠分析戴云山罗浮栲(Castanopsis fabri)群落主要乔木树种在不同资源空间中的营养利用情况。结果表明,各物种在不同资源空间的营养利用情况存在差异。同一物种不同龄级生态位宽度不同,同一龄级不同物种生态位宽度也存在差异。罗浮栲天然林主要种群生态位重叠值介于0.2~0.3的有33对,占27.5%;大于0.3的有51对,占42.5%,群落中优势种种群生态位具有较大程度重叠,对资源的利用能力相似且竞争格局明显。乔木层中,个体多度分布较大的罗浮栲与其它树种生态位重叠在0.042~0.424,罗浮栲与其它物种在资源利用上所受到的竞争相对较弱,在一定程度上决定了该种群在群落中的优势地位。按照经典的分层频度分析,罗浮栲种群属于典型的衰退种,与群落演替的实际情况相一致。  相似文献

Local adaptation to different environments has the potential to maintain divergence between populations despite recurrent gene flow and is an important driver for generating biological diversity. In this study, we investigate the role of adaptation in the maintenance of two parapatric varieties of a forest tree. We used sequence variation of chloroplastic DNA and restriction site‐associated DNA to investigate the genetic structure of two varieties of Castanopsis carlesii in subtropical China and relate it to climatic variation. We used niche reconstruction methods to investigate niche differentiation between the two varieties and to estimate the past distribution of this species. A deep divergence was observed between the two varieties, but evidence of introgression and genetic admixture was detected in two phenotypically and geographically intermediate populations. Niche reconstruction suggests that the distribution of the two varieties was disjunct during periods of global cooling and that the two varieties occupy significantly different niches. The genetic structure was mainly driven by environmental factors, and 13 outlier loci under divergent selection were correlated with climatic variation. These results suggest that the two varieties evolved in allopatry and came back into secondary contact after the last glacial maximum and that they are an evolutionary example of divergence maintained by climatic selection despite recurrent gene flow.  相似文献

对武夷山天然槠栲林光照、温度和湿度与林隙结构和年龄的关系进行了回归分析。结果表明:光照、温度及湿度指数均与林隙面积关系不密切;光照指数、温度指数均与1.5m以上植物种密度、平均高和优势度,均与每个林隙的边界木优势度和平均高、单位边界木优势度及林隙年龄都存在显著或极显著负相关关系;湿度指数与1.5m以上植物种密度、平均高和优势度,与每个林隙的边界木优势度和平均高、单位边界木优势度和林隙年龄都存在显著或极显著正相关关系。随着林隙年龄的增大和结构特征的改变,光照指数和温度指数下降,而湿度指数却上升。应根据不同年龄林隙的环境特征进行森林经营。  相似文献

研究表明外加紫杉醇能够诱导悬浮培养的东北红豆杉(Taxus cuspidata)细胞总DNA发生梯带化降解。利用mRNA差异显示技术比较了紫杉醇诱导凋亡与不诱导凋亡的东北红豆杉细胞基因表达的差异,得到了8个特异表达的cDNA克隆,经Northern杂交证实其中3个在不发生凋亡的细胞中表达,5个在凋亡的细胞中表达。对这8个cDNA克隆单向序列测定后,与GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ中同源序列进行了比较,结果表明:1个cDNA片段与拟南芥中ABA应答蛋白基因的保守区有86%的同源性;2个cDNA片段与番茄内切壳聚糖酶前体基因的保守区有50%的同源性;其他5个cDNA片段无明显的同源基因,可能是新基因。  相似文献

采用2×2联列表,通过方差分析、χ2检验、联结系数AC值、JI指数对江西九连山栲属Castanopsis群落样地重要值前20的种群种间联结进行定量分析。结果表明,九连山栲属群落20个优势种群总体种间的正关联性不显著;但20个优势种群的种间联结关系中3对具显著正联结,2对具极显著正联结,1对具显著负联结,3对具极显著负联结。190个种对中,大多数种对联结关系未达显著水平,种对间的独立性相对较强。种群间的正联结性与种群重要值的关系分析表明,重要值高的种群间形成明显正联结性的种对数量最多,重要值高的种群与重要值低的种群之间形成明显正联结性的种对数量次之,重要值低种群间形成明显正联结性的种对数量最少。目前,群落正处于向顶级稳定群落演替的状态。  相似文献
