The dinuclear bis(6-X-pyridin-2-olato) ruthenium complexes [Ru2(μ-XpyO)2(CO)4(PPh3)2] (X = Cl (4B) and Br (5B)), [Ru2(μ-XpyO)2(CO)4(CH3CN)2] (X = Cl (6B), Br (7B) and F (8B)) and [Ru2(μ-ClpyO)2(CO)4(PhCN)2] (9B) were prepared from the corresponding tetranuclear coordination dimers [Ru2(μ-XpyO)2(CO)4]2 (1: X = Cl; 2: X = Br) and [Ru2(μ-FpyO)2(CO)6]2 (3) by treatment with an excess of triphenylphosphane, acetonitrile and benzonitrile, respectively. In the solid state, complexes 4B-9B all have a head-to-tail arrangement of the two pyridonate ligands, as evidenced by X-ray crystal structure analyses of 4B, 6B and 9B, in contrast to the head-to-head arrangement in the precursors 1-3. A temperature- and solvent-dependent equilibrium between the yellow head-to-tail complexes and the red head-to-head complexes 4A-7A and 9A, bearing an axial ligand only at the O,O-substituted ruthenium atom, exists in solution and was studied by NMR spectroscopy. Full 1H and 13C NMR assignments were made in each case. Treatment of 1 and 2 with the N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolin-2-ylidene provided the complexes [Ru2(μ-XpyO)2(CO)4(NHC)], X = Cl (11A) or Br (12A). An XRD analysis revealed the head-to-head arrangement of the pyridonate ligands and axial coordination of the carbene ligand at the O,O-substituted ruthenium atom. The conversion of 11A and 12A into the corresponding head-to-tail complexes was not possible.  相似文献

Antioxidant activity (AOA) assay-guided chemical analysis, using a rat pancreas homogenate model, of aerial parts from Eysenhardtia subcoriacea, led to isolation of the new compound subcoriacin (3-(2'-hydroxy-4',5'-methylendioxyphenyl)-6-(3'-hydroxymethyl-4'-hydroxybut-2'-enyl)-7-hydroxycoumarin) together with the known substances: (+)-catechin, (-)-epicatechin, (+)-afzelechin, eriodictyol, (+)-catechin 3-O-beta-D-galactopyranoside and quercetin 3-O-beta-D-galactopyranoside as bioactive constituents. The structure of the compound was determined from 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analyses. Additional known constituents were characterized. The bioactive compounds showed also moderate to strong radical scavenging properties against diphenylpicrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH). In addition, subcoriacin, (+)-catechin, (-)-epicatechin and (+)-afzelechin improved the reduced glutathione levels in rat pancreatic homogenate.  相似文献

Four alkaloids named piperumbellactams A-D (1-4) were isolated from branches of Piper umbellatum together with known N-hydroxyaristolam II (5), N-p-coumaroyl tyramine (6), 4-nerolidylcatechol (7), N-trans-feruloyltyramine, E-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-N-2-[4-hydroxyphenylethyl]-2-propenamide, beta-amyrin, friedelin, apigenin 8-C-neohesperidoside, acacetin 6-C-beta-d-glucopyranoside, beta-sitosterol, its 3-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside and its 3-O-beta-d-[6'-dodecanoyl]-glucopyranoside. Glycosidase inhibition, antioxidant and antifungal activities of these compounds were evaluated. Compounds 1-3 showed moderate alpha-glucosidase enzyme inhibition with IC50 values 98.07+/-0.44, 43.80+/-0.56 and 29.64+/-0.46, respectively. In DPPH radical scavenging assay, compounds 2, 3 and 6 showed potent inhibitory activity while compounds 4, 5 and 7 showed potent antifungal activity.  相似文献

Analysis of phloem exudates from the fruit of Cucurbitaceae revealed the presence of several compounds with UV-visible absorption spectra identical to that of l-ascorbic acid. In Cucurbita pepo L. (zucchini), the compounds could be isolated from phloem exudates collected from aerial parts of the plant but were not detected in whole tissue homogenates. The compounds isolated from the phloem exudates of C. pepo fruit were eluted from strong anion exchange resin in the same fraction as l-ascorbic acid and were oxidised by ascorbate oxidase (E.C. 1.10.3.3). The major compound purified from C. pepo fruit exudates demonstrated similar redox properties to l-ascorbic acid and synthetic 6-O-glucosyl-l-ascorbic acid (6-GlcAsA) but differed from those of 2-O-glucosyl-l-ascorbic acid (2-GlcAsA) isolated from the fruit of Lycium barbarum L. Parent and fragment ion masses of the compound were consistent with hexosyl-ascorbate in which the hexose moiety was attached to C5 or C6 of AsA. Acid hydrolysis of the major C. pepo compound resulted in the formation of l-ascorbic acid and glucose. The purified compound yielded a proton NMR spectrum that was almost identical to that of synthetic 6-GlcAsA. A series of l-ascorbic acid conjugates have, therefore, been identified in the phloem of Cucurbitaceae and the most abundant conjugate has been identified as 6-GlcAsA. The potential role of such conjugates in the long-distance transport of l-ascorbic acid is discussed.  相似文献

Lower molecular weight polyphenols including proanthocyanidin oligomers can be analyzed after HPLC separation on either reversed-phase or normal phase columns. However, these techniques are time consuming and can have poor resolution as polymer chain length and structural diversity increase. The detection of higher molecular weight compounds, as well as the determination of molecular weight distributions, remain major challenges in polyphenol analysis.Approaches based on direct mass spectrometry (MS) analysis that are proposed to help overcome these problems are reviewed. Thus, direct flow injection electrospray ionization mass spectrometry analysis can be used to establish polyphenol fingerprints of complex extracts such as in wine. This technique enabled discrimination of samples on the basis of their phenolic (i.e. anthocyanin, phenolic acid and flavan-3-ol) compositions, but larger oligomers and polymers were poorly detectable. Detection of higher molecular weight proanthocyanidins was also restricted with matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) MS, suggesting that they are difficult to desorb as gas-phase ions. The mass distribution of polymeric fractions could, however, be determined by analyzing the mass distributions of bovine serum albumin/proanthocyanidin complexes using MALDI-TOF-MS.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation on the whole plant of Eryngium yuccifolium resulted in the isolation and identification of three phenolic compounds (1-3) and 12 polyhydroxylated triterpenoid saponins, named eryngiosides A-L (4-15), together with four known compounds kaempferol-3-O-(2,6-di-O-trans-p-coumaroyl)-β-d-glucopyranoside (16), caffeic acid (17), 21β-angeloyloxy-3β-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-[β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)]-β-d-glucuronopyranosyloxyolean-12-ene-15α,16α,22α,28-tetrol (18), and saniculasaponin III (19). This study reports the isolation of these compounds and their structural elucidation by extensive spectroscopic analyses and chemical degradation.  相似文献

与对照种汕优63相比,超高产水稻组合培矮64S/E32的剑叶在生长后期具有更高的抗氧化酶(抗坏血酸过氧化物酶APX和谷胱甘肽还原酶GR)活性和小分子抗氧化剂(抗坏血酸Vc、总Vc、还原型谷胱甘肽GSH和β-胡萝卜素)含量,高的清除有机自由基DPPH·能力,更低的膜脂过氧化产物丙二醛含量。这表明培矮64S/E32剑叶在生长后期有强的抗氧化性,这种强抗氧化性与超高产水稻在结实后期剑叶中较慢的叶绿素和蛋白质降解速度相一致。  相似文献

 Plants produce volatile compounds known to influence insect preferences for oviposition and feeding. To examine whether volatile leaf compounds are correlated with the herbivorous insect community, we analyzed volatile compounds in leaves from three co-occurring willow species, Salix serissaefolia, S. eriocarpa, and S. integra, and investigated their associated insect communities in 3 months across different years. The gas chromatographic profiles of volatile compounds were highly specific to each willow species and remained constant in the study months. In a comparison between the chemical composition of the volatile compounds and the taxon composition of the insect communities, dissimilarity patterns in chemical composition among the three willow species were very close to those in herbivorous insect communities. These findings indicate that willow leaves produce specific volatiles that are highly correlated with the community structure of herbivorous insects associated with them. Chitosan, a cationic polysaccharide, is widely employed as dietary supplement and in pharmacological and biomedical applications. Although numerous studies have focused on its applications as pharmaceutical excipients or bioactive reagents, relationships between molecular weight (Mr) and biological properties remain unclear. The focus of this study was on the antioxidant properties of several Mr chitosans. We measured the ability of seven Mr chitosans (CT1; 2.8 kDa, CT2; 17.0 kDa, CT3; 33.5 kDa, CT4; 62.6 kDa, CT5; 87.7 kDa, CT6; 604 kDa, CT7; 931 kDa) to protect plasma protein from oxidation by peroxyl radicals derived from 2,2′-azobis (2-amidinopropane) dihydrochloride (AAPH). A comparison of the antioxidant action of high Mr chitosans (CT6–CT7) with that of low Mr chitosans (CT1–CT5) showed that low Mr chitosans (CT1–CT5) were more effective in preventing the formation of carbonyl groups in plasma protein exposed to peroxyl radicals. AAPH substantially increases plasma protein carbonyl content via the oxidation of human serum albumin (HSA). We also measured the ability of these chitosans to protect HSA against oxidation by AAPH. Low Mr chitosans (CT1–CT5) were found to effectively prevent the formation of carbonyl groups in HSA, when exposed to peroxyl radicals. Low Mr chitosans were also good scavengers of N-centered radicals, but high Mr chitosans were much less effective. We also found a strong correlation between antioxidant activity and the Mr of chitosans in vitro. These activities were also determined by using the ‘TPAC’ test. These results suggest that low Mr chitosans (CT1–CT3) may be absorbed well from the gastrointestinal tract and inhibit neutrophil activation and oxidation of serum albumin that is frequently observed in patients plasma undergoing hemodialysis, resulting in a reduction in oxidative stress associated with uremia.  相似文献

A water-soluble crude polysaccharide, obtained from fern Pteridium aquilinum, was fractionated by DEAE-Sepharose Fast-Flow column chromatography, and purified by Sephacryl S-400 HR column chromatography. The average molecular weight (Mw) of the purified polysaccharide (PLP) is 458,000 Da. The monosaccharide components of PLP were characterized by gas chromatography (GC), and the majority of the monosaccharide components was glucose (relative mass 58.1%) with low levels of galactose, mannose, rhamnose, and arabinose (relative mass 18.7%, 6.8%, 10.2%, and 6.1%, respectively). The Fourier-transform infrared spectra (FTIR) of PLP revealed typical characteristics of polysaccharides. On the basis of the ferric-reducing antioxidant power assay (FRAP), DPPH radical-scavenging, the superoxide radical assay, and self-oxidation of 1,2,3-phentriol assay, the antioxidant activities of PLP were investigated. The purified polysaccharide was demonstrated to have strong reductive power (FRAP value: 827.6 μmol/L), moderate scavenging activities against DPPH radicals (83.1%) and superoxide radicals (60.5%), and moderate inhibiting power for self-oxidation of 1,2,3-phentriol (52.4%).  相似文献
