以玉米 1 7个自交系和 1 0个杂交种为试材 ,在田间条件下研究了不同光强、不同叶位、不同生育期、不同源库比例和株间差异状态下的气孔阻力及其与光合 (PH)、蒸腾(TR)和叶片水分利用效率 (WUE)的关系 ,结果表明 ,不同自交系之间RS具有显著的差异 ,相差最大可达 2 .3倍以上 ;光照条件变弱、穗叶位差增加、生育期推延和源 /库比例改变等均可引起RS值的增加 ;在各种情况下导致RS变化的同时也引起TR和PH产生相应的变化 ,RS与TR、PH表现出显著或极显著的负相关 ,且相关系数rRS TR>rRS PH;RS与WUE的相关关系在不同的条件下表现出不稳定性 相似文献

Plant growth and development are greatly affected due to changes in environmental conditions and become a serious challenge to scientific people. Therefore, present study was conducted to determine the role of secondary metabolites on the growth and development of maize under abiotic stress conditions. Cinnamic acid (CA) is one of the basic phenylpropanoid with antioxidant activity, produced by plants in response to stressful conditions. Response of maize seeds to the presoaking treatment with 0.5 mM CA was studied under different concentrations of NaCl stress. Exogenous CA increased growth characteristics in saline and non-saline conditions, while effects of CA were more significant under saline conditions in comparison to non-saline conditions in maize plants. CA also reduced oxidative damage through the induction of ROS scavenging enzymes such as supperoxide dismutase (SOD) (EC 1.15.1.1), peroxidase (POD) (EC 1.11.1.7), while the activity of enzyme catalase (CAT) (EC 1.11.1.6) was decreased. The content of malondialdehyde (MDA) was reduced significantly in maize leaf under CA treatment. Changes in protein banding patterns in the maize leaves showed a wide variation in response to NaCl-stress, while in the presence of CA salt-induced expression of polypeptides was reduced significantly. Present study clearly reports the alleviative effects of CA in response to salinity stress on growth, metabolic activity and changes in protein profile of 21 days old maize plants. 相似文献

本文对20个玉米优异地方品种资源主要农艺性状进行了研究,运用灰色系统理论的方法,分析了资源的综合性状及各性状间的关系。研究结果表明,株高影响穗粗,穗位高影响穗长,株高和穗位均低的资源不会有较高的单株粒重;叶片数对资源的筛选、利用有一定的影响,对穗长、穗粗、单株粒重有显著影响;利用生育期较短的资源可能会选出单株粒重较高的自交系和杂交种。据此结果结合育种目标评价,筛选出白头霜、高油玉米、洛阳85、白鹤、二夏、品综2号、本地黄玉米、金皇后8个玉米地方品种,综合农艺性状好,具有较高的利用价值。 相似文献

The decoupling of the retention time of easily degradable and persistent substances relieves the degradation process from inhibitors and increases the biogas yield. Anaerobic digestion of maize silage was investigated in a pilot‐scale plant with a coupled ultrafiltration membrane. The aim of the study was the evaluation of the influence of the membrane‐based relief of the degradation process and the increase of the retention time of persistent substances. For that purpose, the fermenter content was separated into solid and liquid fractions. The solid fraction was recirculated to the fermenter for longer retention time and higher substrate degradation rates. The fermentation process was improved by the removal of the liquid fraction and adding volatile fatty acids. The results showed an increase of the biogas yield by 7.2% in comparison to the anaerobic digestion without membrane filtration. 相似文献

This study aimed to investigate whether exogenous application of carnitine stimulates transportation of fatty acids into mitochondria, which is an important part of fatty acid trafficking in cells, and mitochondrial respiration in the leaves of maize seedlings grown under normal and cold conditions. Cold stress led to significant increases in lipase activity, which is responsible for the breakdown of triacylglycerols, and carnitine acyltransferase (carnitine acyltransferase I and II) activities, which are responsible for the transport of activated long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria. While exogenous application of carnitine has a similar promoting effect with cold stress on lipase activity, it resulted in further increases in the activity of carnitine acyltransferases compared to cold stress. The highest activity levels for these enzymes were recorded in the seedlings treated with cold plus carnitine. In addition, these increases were correlated with positive increases in the contents of free- and long-chain acylcarnitines (decanoyl-l-carnitine, lauroyl-l-carnitine, myristoyl-l-carnitine, and stearoyl-l-carnitine), and with decreases in the total lipid content. The highest values for free- and long-chain acylcarnitines and the lowest value for total lipid content were recorded in the seedlings treated with cold plus carnitine. On the other hand, carnitine with and without cold stress significantly upregulated the expression level of citrate synthase, which is responsible for catalysing the first reaction of the citric acid cycle, and cytochrome oxidase, which is the membrane-bound terminal enzyme in the electron transfer chain, as well as lipase. All these results revealed that on the one hand, carnitine enhanced transport of fatty acids into mitochondria by increasing the activities of lipase and carnitine acyltransferases, and, on the other hand, stimulated mitochondrial respiration in the leaves of maize seedlings grown under normal and cold conditions. 相似文献

Immature maize spikelets have been successfully grown in vitro. Culture conditions were refined to maximize development of normal pollen grains. Kinetin was not required for normal development, in contrast to the absolute requirement for this plant growth regulator for in vitro tassel development. Development occured in all stages sampled, from premeiosis to postvacuolation, and there was no lag in progression through the various stages of development as compared to greenhouse-grown material. Cultured spikelets produced pollen that appeared morphologically normal, accumulated starch and had the normal two sperm nuclei and single vegetative nucleus. 相似文献
