The frequency of heterozygote carriers of risk zone alleles of the FMR1 gene (40–47 CGG repeats) was significantly higher in the group of patients with ovarian dysfunctions compared to control group I. The frequency of these alleles shows an increasing tendency in patients poorly responding to superovulation induction in IVF cycles. The average number of oocytes and follicles obtained from the stimulation of superovulation was significantly decreased in FMR1 gene heterozygous risk zone allele carriers as compared to patients with normal alleles of the FMR1 gene. The general average dosage of exogenous gonadotrophin necessary for superovulation induction was significantly higher in heterozygote carriers of FMR1 gene risk zone alleles than in patients with normal genotype. As well, the FMR1 gene risk zone alleles can be one of the hereditary susceptibility factors of impaired natural and stimulated ovulation.  相似文献

Calcium crystals exist in the knee joint fluid of up to 65% of osteoarthritis (OA) patients and the presence of these calcium crystals correlates with the radiographic evidence of hyaline cartilaginous degeneration. This study sought to examine calcium deposition in OA meniscus and to investigate OA meniscal cell-mediated calcium deposition. Data on several populations of Russia have been used to demonstrate that the change in the endogamy index detected in the second half of the 20th century is not global. Migration activity remains high in populations with relatively low endogamy indices, and their endogamy does not change with time. In regions with medium and high endogamy indices, these values also tend to remain stable. The endogamy indices of urban populations are increasing, and those of rural populations are decreasing.  相似文献

Integrated study of the genetic structure of the Udmurt population with respect to different genetic systems has been performed. Data on the genes of genetic diseases, abiotic parameters analyzed by population statistic methods, and DNA polymorphism are summarized. The populations of six raions (districts) of Udmurt Republic (the Mozhga, Malaya Purga, Sharkan, Debesy, Igra, and Glazov raions) have been studied. The total population studied was 267 655 people (an urban population of 150 119 people and a rural population of 117 536 people), including 155 346 Udmurts. The population structure has been studied in six districts on the basis of the vital statistics, Crow’s indices, Malecot’s isolation by distance parameters, ethnically assortative marriage parameters, endogamy indices, inbreeding-endogamy (ie) indices, and frequencies of the genotype and allele frequencies of four DNA markers (17 alleles). The prevalences of hereditary diseases have been calculated for different population groups: urban and rural populations, Udmurts and other ethnic groups. These groups, especially the urban and rural populations, substantially differed from one another in the prevalences of autosomal dominant (AD) and autosomal recessive (AR) diseases. The correlation between the prevalence of AD and AR diseases and the ie index is positive and significant. The spectrum of hereditary diseases detected in six districts of Udmurtia comprises 149 diseases (80, 57, and 12 AD, AR, and X-linked diseases, respectively). Accumulation of individual diseases in districts of Udmurtia and accumulation of diseases in Udmurtia as compared to regions studied earlier has been found. Cluster analysis of the frequencies of genes of AD and AR diseases and DNA markers has determined the gene geographic position of Udmurts.  相似文献

Genetic structure of Southern and Northern ethnographic groups of the Udmurt population from six regions of the Republic of Udmurtia has been studied. All the samples were examined using ten polymorphic DNA loci: VNTR/PAH, VNTR/ApoB, VNTR/DATI, VNTR/eNOS, ACE, CCR5 Δ32, KM19, IVS6a, THOI, and FABP2. Allelic and genotype frequencies were estimated for each of the six populations. The average heterozygosity for these ten polymorphic loci varied from 0.47 in Udmurts from Glazovskii region to 0.53 in Udmurts from Malopurginskii region. The level of genetic variation (F ST) between populations of Udmurts was 0.0048. Ethnographic subdivision of the population into Northern and Southern Udmurts is in good agreement with the values of genetic distances and phylogenetic analysis.  相似文献

A single-step qualitative rapid test for the determination of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in samples of human blood serum by immunochromatography using a complex of colloidal gold with monoclonal antibodies to PSA as the detection agent was developed. The determination limit for PSA in serum blood samples is 10 ng/ml; the analysis time, 15–25 min; the sensitivity of the method, 100%; and its specificity, 92.5%.  相似文献

Background  

The analysis of genetic variation in populations of infectious agents may help us understand their epidemiology and evolution. Here we study a model for assessing the levels and patterns of genetic diversity in populations of infectious agents. The population is structured into many small subpopulations, which correspond to their hosts, that are connected according to a specific type of contact network. We considered different types of networks, including fully connected networks and scale free networks, which have been considered as a model that captures some properties of real contact networks. Infectious agents transmit between hosts, through migration, where they grow and mutate until elimination by the host immune system.  相似文献

Low intensity resistance exercise (RE) with blood flow restriction (BFR) has gained attention in the literature due to the beneficial effects on functional and morphological variables, similar to those observed during traditional RE without BFR, while the effects of BFR on post-exercise hypotension remain unclear. The aim of the present study was to compare the blood pressure (BP) response of trained normotensive individuals to RE with and without BFR. In this cross-over randomized trial, eight male subjects (23.8 ± 4 years, 74 ± 3 kg, 174 ± 4 cm) completed two exercise protocols: traditional RE (3 x 10 repetitions at 70% one-repetition maximum [1-RM]) and low intensity RE (3 x 15 repetitions at 20% 1-RM) with BFR. Blood pressure measurements were performed after 15 min of seated rest (0), immediately after and 10 min, 20 min, 30 min, 40 min, 50 min and 60 min after the experimental sessions. Similar hypotensive effects for systolic BP (SBP) were observed for both protocols (P < 0.05) after exercise, with no differences between groups (P > 0.05) and no statistically significant difference for diastolic BP (P > 0.05). These results suggest that in normotensive trained individuals, both traditional RE and RE with BFR induce hypotension for SBP, which is important to prevent cardiovascular disturbances.  相似文献
