One hundred children with acute Sonnei and flexneri dysentery were followed up with respect to the infection process and main immunity indices. In 32 children the immunity indices were physiological (group 1) and in 68 children secondary immune deficiency was observed (group 2). The children were treated with aminoglycoside antibiotics and prodigiozan and it was stated that the time of recovery in the children with immune deficiency was longer by 5.2 days as compared to that in the children without immune deficiency. In the children with immune deficiency the combined use of one of the aminoglycosides, prodigiozan and lysozyme, led to a reduction of the host immunological reactivity and recovery within the same periods as those recorded for children with the physiological immunity status. It is recommended to use the antibiotic combination with prodigiozan and lysozyme in the treatment of all the forms of dysentery in children with secondary immune deficiency.  相似文献

Peculiarities of dissociation in the cultures of nitrogen-fixating soil microorganism Azospirillum brasilense have been studied. The possible transfer among colony-morphology variants is established. The relations between variants are described by the following scheme: R in equilibrium with SR----S Electrophoretic analysis of plasmid contents in different variants of Azospirillum brasilense supposes the possible participation of plasmid DNA in the dissociation process in this microorganism.  相似文献

Modified polystyrene latexes with high adsorption capacity, comparable to that of latexes produced by Difco Laboratories (USA), have been developed in the USSR. Diagnostic latex preparations for the detection of meningococci of serogroups A, C, Y and Haemophilus influenza, type b, prepared on the basis of these new latexes, have shown high specificity and sensitivity in experimental and clinical tests.The latex preparations for the detection of serogroup B meningococci requires further improvement. The use of latex preparations, together with other laboratory methods, in the diagnosis of meningococcal infection has promoted the etiological confirmation of the disease in 84% of cases; this method has proved to be 1.5 times more effective than the bacteriological one and not less sensitive than the enzyme immunoassay, while being more specific.  相似文献

The measurements of angle dependencies of total and elastic Rayleigh scattering of Mossbauer radiation intensities have been performed for human serum albumin (HSA) with hydration degrees h = 0.13 and h = 0.4. The extended model was developed for calculating the inelastic intensity of Rayleigh scattering. Original data for HSA and published data on met-Mb were fitted within the frame of this model. The best agreement with experiment was obtained when two types of intraglobular motions were taken into account: individual motions of small side-chain groups and cooperative (mechanical) motions of segments (most probable alpha-helices). Long-range correlated motions are essential at low hydration degree. The possibilities of application of the coherent version of RSMS technique are described.  相似文献

Two different types of the glial envelope are demonstrated around the septal cerebral area grafts (SCAG) and the hippocampal grafts (HG) developing in the anterior eye chamber of the rat during 3-4 months. In the SCAG it is multilayered, consists mainly of modified oligodendrocytes. Processes of the nervous cells perforate the surface of the envelope. In the HG the unilayered glial envelope consists of bodies and processes of the fibrous astrocytes; it is impenetrable for the nervous processes. Since both types of the cellular elements making these envelopes have been described in the norm, it is possible that the differences in the surfaces described are specific for these structures.  相似文献

The materials on the development and use of the test system, based on the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and intended for the detection of specific group A and C meningococcal polysaccharides and type b Haemophilus influenzae polysaccharide in the spinal fluid of patients, are presented. In this work commercial preparations manufactured in the USSR were used, and all parameters of the assay were developed on the basis of these preparations. The study was made on the samples of spinal fluid from 410 patients; of these, 203 had meningococcal infection, 57 had purulent bacterial meningitides and 150 had other diseases (acute respiratory diseases, influenza, etc.). As demonstrated by the results of this study, ELISA proved to be a highly specific and sensitive technique. In the investigation of the spinal fluid samples from the patients with meningococcal infection the use of ELISA with bacteriological techniques increased the number of positive results to 67%; with countercurrent electrophoresis, to 78%; and with bacterioscopy, to 83.8%. ELISA is recommended for practical use as an auxiliary laboratory technique and as a rapid method for the diagnosis of meningococcal infection.  相似文献

Electron microscopic study of intraocular grafts of the septal and hippocampal nervous tissue revealed intensive transport and metabolic interactions between various types of the cells. High level of transport exists between the recipient's blood and intraocular fluid, on the one hand, and the graft, on the other one; the abundance of pinocytotic vesicles in the endothelium, pericytes and the glial end-feet of the capillaries, and the presence of microvilli and cilia on the graft limiting glia. Signs of active communications between interstitial glial cells, as well as between gliocytes and neurons, such as pinocytosis and gap junctions were observed. Similar interactions exist between various parts of nerve cells. Besides, there is an evidence of microphagocytic interactions, particularly between pre- and postsynaptic elements, as shown by the presence of so-called spinules. An unusual fact was observed of internalization of cytoplasmic fragments of the degenerating neuron by contacting synaptic boutons. It is suggested that the high level of transport and metabolic processes may reflect adaptive and compensatory processes in the nervous tissue developing under strict limitations of the neural and neurotrophic influences.  相似文献
