Meiosis is essential for eukaryotic sexual reproduction and plant fertility, and crossovers (COs) are essential for meiosis and the formation of new allelic combinations in gametes. In this study, we report the isolation of a meiotic gene, OsSHOC1, and the identification of its partner, OsPTD1. Osshoc1 was sterile both in male and female gametophytes, and it showed a striking reduction in the number of meiotic COs, indicating that OsSHOC1 was required for normal CO formation. Further investigations showed that OsSHOC1 physically interacted with OsPTD1 and that the latter was also required for normal CO formation and plant fertility. Additionally, the expression profiles of both genes were consistent with their functions. Our results suggest that OsSHOC1 and OsPTD1 are essential for rice fertility and CO formation, possibly by stabilizing the recombinant intermediates during meiosis. 相似文献

As overfertilization leads to environmental concerns and the cost of N fertilizer increases, the issue of how to select crop cultivars that can produce high yields on N‐deficient soils has become crucially important. However, little information is known about the genetic mechanisms by which crops respond to environmental changes induced by N signaling. Here, we dissected the genetic architecture of N‐induced phenotypic plasticity in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) by integrating functional mapping and semiautomatic high‐throughput phenotyping data of yield‐related canopy architecture. We identified a set of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) that determined the pattern and magnitude of how wheat cultivars responded to low N stress from normal N supply throughout the wheat life cycle. This analysis highlighted the phenological landscape of genetic effects exerted by individual QTLs, as well as their interactions with N‐induced signals and with canopy measurement angles. This information may shed light on our mechanistic understanding of plant adaptation and provide valuable information for the breeding of N‐deficiency tolerant wheat varieties. 相似文献

Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) has emerged as a major therapeutic target for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The nonapeptide GLP-1 (28–36) amide is one of the biological C-terminal products of GLP-1 modified by the neutral endopeptidase (NEP) 24.11 with limited hypoglycemic activity. In this study, we focused on the modification of GLP-1 (28–36) amide for the first time and synthesized a series of GLP-1 (28–36) amide analogues. 基于多元活性成分同时测定结合多元统计分析探讨不同贮藏条件对五味子药材质量的影响。采用超快速液相色谱-三重四极杆/线性离子阱质谱(UFLC-QTRAP-MS/MS)同时测定不同贮藏条件(包装材料,贮藏温度)五味子中木脂素(五味子酯乙、五味子醇乙、五味子丙素、五味子乙素、五味子甲素、五味子酯甲、五味子醇甲、五味子酚、戈米辛D、戈米辛J、当归酰基戈米辛H)及有机酸(L-苹果酸、酒石酸、原儿茶酸、奎宁酸)共15种指标成分的含量;根据15种目标成分的含量,用灰色关联度分析和TOPSIS法对不同贮藏五味子进行综合评价。结果表明,15种化合物在一定浓度范围内均呈现良好的线性关系,相关系数均大于0.999 1;精密度、重复性和稳定性良好;平均加样回收率在96.64%~99.96%之间,RSD均小于5%。灰色关联度分析中r_i的最大差异较小为57.5%,TOPSIS法中C_i值的最大差异较大为81.3%,两种结果均显示S4、S3、S1的综合质量较好,五味子的适宜贮藏条件为以聚乙烯密封袋为外包装存放于阴凉库。所建立的方法准确、可靠,可用于五味子药材内在质量的综合评价,本研究可为五味子适宜储藏条件的优选提供基础资料。 相似文献

ABSTRACTSmog pollution has received widely attention in recent years due to its negative effects. There is consensus that the motor vehicle exhaust emission is one of the sources of smog pollution and reduced private car use would significantly improve the air quality and alleviate the smog pollution problem. In this research, we aim to investigate how public smog knowledge and risk perception (physical health risk perception and mental health risk perception) affect public attitude and intention to reduce car use. A questionnaire survey of 334 randomly sampled respondents was designed to test these relationships. The results show that public smog knowledge is positively and significantly related to physical health risk perception, mental health risk perception, attitude and intention to reduce car use. Public smog knowledge has the largest impact on intention to reduce car use. Furthermore, physical health risk perception and mental health risk perception are positively and significantly associated with attitude and intention to reduce car use. In addition, the results also indicated that public smog knowledge is at a low level. Based on the results, implications and suggestions for future research were discussed. 相似文献
