A highly sensitive chemiluminescence (CL) immunoassay was incorporated into a low‐cost microfluidic paper‐based analytical device (μ‐PAD) to fabricate a facile paper‐based CL immunodevice (denoted as μ‐PCLI). This μ‐PCLI was constructed by covalently immobilizing capture antibody on a chitosan membrane modified μ‐PADs, which was developed by simple wax printing methodology. TiO2 nanoparticles coated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (TiO2/MWCNTs) were synthesized as an amplification catalyst tag to label signal antibody (Ab2). After sandwich‐type immunoreactions, the TiO2/MWCNTs were captured on the surface of μ‐PADs to catalyze the luminol‐p‐iodophenol‐H2O2 CL system, which produced an enhanced CL emission. Using prostate‐specific antigen as a model analyte, the approach provided a good linear response range from 0.001 to 20 ng/mL with a low detection limit of 0.8 pg/mL under optimal conditions. This μ‐PCLI showed good reproducibility, selectivity and stability. The assay results of prostate‐specific antigen in clinical serum samples were in good agreement with that obtained by commercially used electrochemiluminescence methods at the Cancer Research Center of Shandong Tumor Hospital (Jinan, Shandong Province, China). T-Hg-T base pair formation has been demonstrated to be compatible with duplex DNA context, with considerable thermal stability contribution. Here, the T-Hg-T stem in two small DNAzymes 8–17 and 10–23 was studied for its structural and functional roles. The recognition arm 5′ to the cleavage site of 10–23 DNAzyme complex and the stem in the catalytic loop of 8–17 DNAzyme could be replaced by consecutive T-Hg-T stem of different length. The linear relationship between the activity of the complex 10–23DZ-6T+D19–6T and the concentration of Hg2+ demonstrated that the T-Hg-T stem contributes thermal stability of the recognition arm binding. The effect of T-Hg-T stem in the catalytic core of 8–17 DNAzyme and the position-dependent effect in 10–23 DNAzyme demonstrated that T-Hg-T base pair is not compatible with canonical base pairs in playing the functions of nucleic acids. 相似文献

Popillia quadriguttata (Fabricius), and Protaetia brevitarsis (Lewis) adults were captured with Japanese beetle, Popillia japonica Newman, sex attractant and floral lures at Changchun, China during July–August 2012. The floral lure (phenethyl propionate:eugenol:geraniol, 3:7:3) was attractive to male and female P. quadriguttata (AV: 1.2 ± 0.9; 1.1 ± 0.3; total: 2.3 ± 0.8), and was similar in attraction to the combination of the sex attractant (SA) [(R, Z)-5-(1-decenyl) dihydro-2(3H)-furanone] plus the floral lure for male (1.60 ± 0.2), female (1.30 ± 1.1) and total captures (2.9 ± 3.0). However, the SA alone captured only males in much higher numbers than when combined with the floral lure (10.0 ± 6.4). In a separate earlier test, the greatest number of P. quadriguttata males (12.5 ± 3.0), female (12.2 ± 1.5) and total captures (24.7 ± 2.5) was in yellow, laboratory-made, bottle traps. The floral lure also attracted female Pro. brevitarsis (10.0 ± 3.4), while the SA attracted only few male beetles (1.0 ± 0.2). The combination SA + floral lure captured similar females (11.0 ± 2.0) and total (14.2 ± 2.2) Pro. brevitarsis as the floral lure alone. Two butterflies, Colias erate poliographus (Motschulsky) and Pieris rapae (Linnaeus), were also attracted to the floral lure. These studies indicate a potential for replacing pesticides by using the Japanese beetle lures for monitoring and control of several insects in China, and that they would be useful in monitoring and eradication of two potential scarab pests, P. quadriguttata and Pro. brevitaris, in the United States and Europe. 相似文献

Jaoa prasina, a freshwater green alga endemic to China, was collected from a stream in Hubei province, China. Unialgal cultivation, morphological observation, and phylogenetic analyses of small subunit ribosomal DNA and RuBisCO large subunit sequences were performed. When cultured on agar medium, the alga was irregularly filamentous, similar to marine species of Acrochaete. Aplanospores were observed on solid medium. A vesicular‐like thallus without rhizoids developed in liquid medium, similar to specimen development in natural habitats. Molecular phylogenetic analyses revealed that Jaoa was closely related to the marine genera Acrochaete Pringsheim and Ulvella Crouan & Crouan. The results suggested the genus Jaoa is a member of the family Ulvellaceae (Ulvophyceae), which contains mostly marine algae. The family name Jaoaceae should be abandoned. We speculate that Jaoa may have evolved from a marine Ulvellaceae ancestor. 相似文献

A new two-phase kinetic model of sporulation of Clonostachys rosea in a new solid-state fermentation (SSF) reactor was proposed. The model including exponential and logistic models was applied to study the simultaneous effect of temperature, initial moisture content, medium thickness and surface porosity of the plastic membrane on C. rosea sporulation. The model fits experimental data very well and allows accurate predictions of spore production. The maximum spore production achieved 3.360 × 1010 (spores/gDM), about 10 times greater than that in traditional SSF reactor(data not shown). The new reactor can provide two times sporulation surface area. Moisture content can be adjusted by changing the surface porosity to meet the spore production. Two mixings carried out during fermentation makes medium loose and results in a mass of new sporulation surface area. Therefore, the new SSF reactor would have great potential for application in bulk spore production of fungal biocontrol agents. 相似文献
