三尖杉属受精作用的研究

三尖杉属的精原细胞有一类似银杏生毛体的星状体结构,它分裂产生的2个精子,在大小与形态上都基本相同,而且在精子细胞质中具有拟核仁颗粒存在。上述结构是三尖杉属的重要特点之一。本属植物的成熟卵细胞特别长,细胞质中有丰富的拟核仁结构,卵核下方具2—3团浓稠的细胞质团,这些结构很像穗花杉的卵细胞。三尖杉属的受精作用,属于有丝分裂后类型,这种类型只在松科和三尖杉科中发现。受精后,卵细胞发生强烈的极性分化,上部细胞质变成高度液泡化;相反,下部细胞质则聚集大量蛋白泡和拟核仁颗粒。     

Complementary deoxyribonucleic acid (cDNA) cloning and DNA sequence analysis of rat ovarian inhibins

Two forms of inhibin (A and B), gonadal polypeptide hormones that selectively suppress the secretion of FSH from the anterior pituitary, have been characterized from the porcine and human species, each being composed of a common alpha-chain and one of two distinct, but homologous beta-chains, i.e. alpha beta A and alpha beta B. Using cDNAs encoding the porcine inhibin subunits we have cloned and sequenced the cDNAs encoding the alpha, beta A, and beta B chains of rat ovarian inhibin. Northern analyses of rat testicular RNA with rat ovarian cDNA probes show the presence of mRNAs encoding alpha and beta B chains, but no detectable mRNA encoding the beta A chain under our experimental conditions. This suggests that there may be specific and distinct physiological roles for inhibins A and B. In addition, if there is no extratesticular source of beta A mRNA, then the male rat may be devoid of the stimulators of the secretion of FSH, i.e. activin (beta A beta B) and homoactivin A (beta A beta A), which are derived from the beta subunits of the two inhibins.     

Biosynthesis of fusarochromanone and its monoacetyl derivative by Fusarium equiseti.

One fluorescent compound previously named TDP-2 was isolated and purified from a rice culture of Fusarium equiseti (Alaska 2-2). Mass spectral and nuclear magnetic resonance data indicated that it is a C-3'-N-acetyl derivative of fusarochromanone, a newly discovered mycotoxin. Time course studies of synthesis of these two compounds on autoclaved rice and Czapek-Dox medium enriched with soybean peptone indicated that fusarochromanone was converted to TDP-2 in the cultures. A high concentration of peptone in the liquid medium may stimulate both fusarochromanone synthesis and its conversion to TDP-2.     

Nicardipine as a Ca2+ channel blocker in single barnacle muscle fibers

A study has been made of the efficacy of nicardipine as a Ca2+ channel blocker by determining the magnitude of its effect on the stimulatory response of the ouabain-insensitive Na+ efflux in single barnacle muscle fibers to 100 mM external K+. The results show that nicardipine (at pH 6.5) is a potent inhibitor, the minimal effective concentration being approx. 10(-7) M and the IC(50) about 5.10(-6) M. Nicardipine, however, is not as potent as verapamil (at pH 6.5) on an equimolar basis. This is explained by assuming that the number of dihydropyridine receptors in the t-tubule membranes of barnacle fibers is not high or that verapamil is able to block the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ release channel in addition to the voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels.     

斯氏蚤属在中国的首次纪录及一新种记述（蚤目：角叶蚤科）

本文记述斯氏蚤属Smitipsylla Lewis,1971一新种,方突斯氏蚤S. quadrata sp. nov.。本新种的发现,是斯氏蚤属在中国的首次纪录。本文对其属征作了概述。     

Effects of traces of rare earth elements on the protozoanBlepherisma and on mice

The growth of the protozoanBlepherisma is stimulated by Lanthanum (La) at concentrations as low as 0.32 ppm. In mice Yttrium (Y) and Ytterbium (Yb) are absorbed, accumulated, and metabolized. Both rare earth elements (RE) exhibit a high affinity for teeth and bones, accumulation occurs and metabolism is slow. In the livers of RE-exposed mice, concentrations are variable. The liver is apparently capable of absorbing and discharging RE in a manner depending on metabolic activity. The main route of discharge for ingested REs is the alimentary canal. Exposure of pregnant mice to RE leads to rapid placental transfer of RE; 14.1% of the total amount of RE administered was detected in newborn mice. Young, developing organisms appear to be especially susceptible to RE accumulation.     

鳗鲡幼鱼耳石日轮的研究

本文报道采自辽东半岛沿岸鳗鲡(Anguilla japonica)的白仔鳗和经人工培育的当年幼鳗耳石日轮生长的观察结果。白仔鳗和幼鳗耳石平均直径均与体全长成直线相关。12尾白仔鳗耳石的平均日轮数146.3,据此推测其产卵期为11—12月。观察证实从咸淡水转人到淡水生活的幼鳗耳石的环纹有过渡带存在。     

柴达木盆地荒漠土壤蓝藻群落的初步研究

本文分析了柴达木盆地东部和中部具有代表性地区的丘陵、戈壁和沙丘的蓝藻种类组成、生物量及主要的土壤化学成分;采用了模糊聚类、系统聚类及多元线性回归等方法分析藻类的群落及其与环境因子的关系。共鉴定出21种蓝藻,其中6种为国内首次报道。研究表明:土壤含磷量、总盐量及与粘性和湿度有关的土壤结构是决定柴达木盆地蓝藻群落组成的重要因素。     

The Rex proteins of human T-cell leukemia virus type II differ by serine phosphorylation.

The Rex proteins of human T-cell leukemia virus types I and II (HTLV-I and HTLV-II) induce cytoplasmic expression of unspliced gag-pol mRNA and singly spliced env mRNA and are critical for virus replication. Two rex gene products, p27rex and p21rex of HTLV-I and p26rex and p24rex of HTLV-II, have been detected in HTLV-infected cells; however, the structural and biological relationship of the proteins has not been clearly elucidated. Endoproteinase digestion and phosphoamino acid analysis of HTLV-II Rex indicated that p24rex has the same amino acid backbone as p26rex and that the larger apparent molecular size of p26rex is attributable to serine phosphorylation.
