Beim maulbrütenden Cichliden Pseudocrenilabrus multicolor übernimmt ausschließlich das ♀ die Brutpflege. Es laicht die Eier portionsweise ab und nimmt sie sofort in das Maul auf. Die Brutpflegebereitschaft entsteht während der der Eiabgabe vorausgehenden Initiallaichphase in mehreren Schritten: Zunächst werden angebotene Eier gefressen, dann ausgespuckt und schließlich im Maul behalten. Versuche mit Unterbrechung des Laichaktes zu verschiedenen Zeitpunkten der Initiallaichphase zeigten, daß die Umstimmung nicht spontan eintritt, sondern vom Ablaichverhalten abhängt. Weitere Versuche lassen vermuten, daß die Umstimmung an die Ausführung von Laichbewegungen des ♀ gebunden ist. Die Laichbewegungen wiederum unterliegen in ihrer zeitlichen Organisation einer endogenen Steuerung durch das ♀ selbst. Die Funktion des ♂ beschränkt sich in diesem Zusammenhang auf die Bereitstellung der Auslösereize für die Bewegungen des ♀. Der Mechanismus der Umstimmung wird erörtert und mit Ergebnissen bei anderen Tieren verglichen. 相似文献

Individual turbinals from the right and left sides of dog olfactory tissue were removed and nerve-ending-particle preparations were prepared. (Na+ + K+)-dependent ATPase activities of the individual preparations, and the effect of several odorous compounds [including (+)- and (-)-carvone] on the (Na+ + K+)-dependent ATPase activities, were determined. The maximally stimulatory odorant concentration in the reaction mixture for the majority of odorants was found to be 1.0 mM. Matched pairs of left/right turbinals showed a lack of bilateral symmetry of response. (Na+ + K+)-dependent ATPase activities of various dog brain nerve-ending particle preparations responded only slightly to 1.0 mM odorants. The role of phospholipids in the (Na+ + K+)-dependent ATPase activity was found to be critical. Partial replacement of endogenous lipid with either synthetic phospholipids or extracted lipids resulted in changes in stimulation obtained with endogenous lipids alone. 相似文献

The nucleotide sequence of th 16S-23S spacer from a ribosomal RNA operon of Zea mays chloroplast DNA has been determined. It contains two tRNA genes, coding for tRNAlle (AUCU) and tRNAAla (GCGA), which are split by intervening sequences of 949 and 806 base pairs, respectively. The chromophore free apoprotein of neocarzinostatin was coupled to monoclonal IgG1 antibody using N-Succinimidyl 3-(2-pyridyldithio)-propionate as heterobifunctional reagent. After coupling active chromophore was reassociated with the apoprotein. The DNA content of spermatids of mice carrying Cattanach's translocation has been measured with high precision by flow cytometry. The observation that the two peaks of DNA content in the haploid region of the DNA histograms represent X-and Y-bearing spermatids was tested and confirmed. Using flow cytometry, the difference in DNA content between the X and Y chromosomes in these mice was measured to be 5.2±0.1% of the total haploid genome as compared to 3.4±0.1% in normal mice. These results demonstrated the precision of flow cytometry for cytogenetic studies. Additional information on spermatogenesis in mice bearing Cattanach's translocation was obtained and showed a gradual loss of cells during spermatogenesis in those bearing the balanced form of the translocation. 相似文献

In the urine of normal subjects Who were given an oral dose of 500 mg spironolactone (3-(3-oxo-7α-acetylthio-17β-hydroxy-4-androsten-17α-yl)-propionic acid γ-lactone; AldactoneR) together with 100, uCi H-20, 21 spironolactone, a so far unknown major metabolite has been detected by thin layer chromatography. The metabolite then could be isolated by means of counter-current-distribution. According to masspectral and magnetic resonance data, the metabolite has been assigned the structure of 3-(3-oxo-7α-niethyl sulfonyl-6β, 17β-dihydroxy-4-androsten-17α-yl)-propionic acid γ-lactone. By oxidation of the corresponding methylsulfinyl compound — another already known metabolite of spironolactone-with m-chloroperbenzoic acid, a compound has been isolated which proved to be identical with the new metabolite according to TIC, MS and NMR. 相似文献
