国产磨芋属的染色体核型报道(1)

本文报道了磨芋属(Amorphophallus Blume)六个种的染色体数目和核型,其中5个种属于首次报道。其核型公式如下: 1.滇磨芋 K(2n)=2x=26=26m.2.磨芋 K(2n)=2x=26=26m.3.攸落磨芋K(2n)=2x=26=22m(2SAT)+4sm.(2SAT).4.西盟磨芋 K(2n)=2x=26=20m+4sm+2st.5.勐海磨芋 K(2n)=2x=26=22m+4sm.6.白磨芋 K(2n)=2x=26=20m(2SAT)+6sm。     

In vitro tuberization in white yam (Dioscorea rotundata Poir)

Nodal cuttings of white yam were induced to produce microtubers on a MS-revised medium supplemented with various concentrations of sucrose, 20 mgl^–1 L-cysteine, 0.5 mgl^–1 kinetin and 0.7% agar. The frequency of tuberization was affected by the daylength, which is optimal at 12 and 16 h of light depending on the sucrose concentration. The microtubers were planted in a seed bed and grown to maturity. The importance of in vitro tuberization of yam as a means of international germplasm distribution or exchange as well as for the propagation of planting material is discussed.     

湖北宜昌震旦系-寒武系界线地层Micrhystridium regulare化石的发现及其地层意义

Mechanisms of heat protection by cycloheximide or puromycin: Involvement of polyamines?

1. 1.|When Chinese hamster ovary cells are treated with cycloheximide (10 μg/ml) or puromycin (100 μg/ml) for 2 h before and during heating at 43°C for 3 h, there is protection from hyperthermic killing; i.e. the plating efficiency increases 2000-fold from 3.7 × 10⁻⁵ to (6–9) × 10⁻².

2. 2.|The total intracellular levels of spermidine and spermine are not altered by the hyperthermic or drug treatments.

3. 3.|The small 30% decrease in intracellular putrescine observed after heating is not altered by drug treatment.

4. 4.|Heat protection by treatment with cycloheximide or puromycin cannot be attributed to changes in levels of total intracellular polyamines.

四川成都市郊正常成年男性血清生殖激素水平及其频数分布

本文用放射免疫测定法(RIA),测定了200～290例中国四川成都市郊30～73岁的正常成年男性血清睾酮(T)促黄体激素(LH).卵泡刺激素(FSH)及泌乳激素(PRL)的水平及其分布,进行了不同年龄水平差异显著性的观察,见到睾酮与泌乳激素水平无显著差异,促黄体激素及卵泡刺激素水平,随年龄之增加而升高,差异有显著性,并测得它们在血清中水平的分布:LH、FSH及PRL均为对数正态公布,T既非正态又非对数正态,但其频率分布较对称,接近正态分布。     

烧伤后大鼠肠道菌群的改变及其易位

本文报告了25％烧伤后注射免疫抑制剂(地寨米松磷酸钠)大鼠7种肠道细菌的定量、内脏及血液的细菌培养和肠壁的病理形态学改变。单纯烧伤组(B组)和单纯注射免疫抑制剂组(Ⅰ组)动物肠壁的病理改变较轻,肠道菌群改变不明显,其肠道细菌易位率也很低。烧伤后注射免疫抑制剂的动物(BⅠ组)肠壁病变严重,肠道菌群改变明显。其中,肠杆菌在回肠、盲肠,结肠内容物中的菌量均明显升高;回肠内容物中拟杆菌的菌量明显减少;该组动物肠道细菌易位率也明显增高,达60％。此外,BⅠ组、Ⅰ组部分动物发生了由棒状杆菌及由棒状扦菌和肠杆菌混合引起的内源性感染。根据不同肠段肠壁病变严重程度、菌群变化的部位以及不同部位肠管生理功能的不同,我们推测,回肠以上肠段是肠道细菌易位的主要部位。     

Inheritance of mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase: genotyping in Chinese,Japanese and South Korean families reveals dominance of the mutant allele

Summary Genotyping of mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH I) was performed in enzymatically amplified DNA of 20 Chinese, Japanese and South Korean families (85 individuals) and in 113 unrelated persons by employing allele-specific oligonucleotide probes and dot blot hybridization. Genotyping individuals with phenotypic deficiency of ALDH I activity always showed the presence of at least one mutant allele. The data are compatible with a model assuming dominant inheritance of the mutant allele, which we have previously suggested on the basis of a population study.
