Y2Zr2O7‐doped with Eu3+ and Sm3+ phosphors were prepared for the first time as multifunctional smart materials using a solid‐state reaction method at 1400oC. Thermal behaviour, crystal structure, surface morphology, and elemental analysis were characterized using thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal (DTA) analyses, X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope equipped with energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (SEM‐EDX). Experimental results revealed that both phosphors have a pyrochlore structure with a cubic crystal system. Photoluminescence properties were also measured and red emission was observed from Y1.90Eu0.10Zr2O7 and Y1.90Sm0.10Zr2O7 phosphors. Dielectric constant, loss tangent, piezoelectric charge constant, and Curie temperature of all the samples were determined using an LCR‐meter, d33‐meter, and TG/DTA. Eu doping in Y2Zr2O7 resulted in a high dielectric constant (9.61) and low loss tangent (1.67%) values, whereas high piezoelectric charge constant (0.68 pC/N) and high Curie temperature (820°C) could be obtained using Sm‐doped Y2Zr2O7. 相似文献
Flag leaf and shoot growth at heading stage as well as ultimate yield capacity of ten wheat cultivars were assessed in a pot experiment under normal and drought conditions. Drought was imposed by withholding 25% of field capacity from the 45- day old plants for 21 days followed by normal irrigation until maturity. Leaf succulence degree and stomatal opening area as well as shoot biomass, density and distribution decreased in all cultivars in response to drought but to different degrees. On contrary, leaf sclerophylly degree and water saturation deficit increased in all cultivars as a result of drought. At the same time, drought caused marked alterations in leaf transpiration rate, hair features, abscisic acid content, osmotic adjustment and fatty acid profile of the concerned cultivars; with ultimate variable capacity for yield. The drought- induced changes in the estimated traits were graphically represented in a single map then they were correlated with each other. The considered cultivars could be eventually clustered based on their drought response; with Sids cultivars being the most drought tolerant whereas Shandaweel 1 and Giza 168 being the most sensitive. 相似文献

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common condition that impacts many people worldwide and involves weight-bearing joints, resulting in chronic pain. In this study, we aimed to compare the effectiveness of inpatient and outpatient physical therapy modalities and spa combination treatments on pain and functional status in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Seventy-four patients diagnosed with primary knee osteoarthritis were included in this study. The patients were randomized into two groups, inpatient (n?=?37) and outpatient (n?=?37) physical therapy. All patients received a physical therapy program (superficial heater + deep heater + transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) for 2 weeks and spa therapy. All cases were evaluated clinically, laboratory, and radiographically. In order to evaluate pain and functional status, the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index (WOMAC), and Timed Up and Go (TUG) test were used before and after treatment. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the TUG test and WOMAC scores (p?>?0.05). However, a significant difference was found in VAS scores in favor of the outpatient group (p?<?0.05). As a result, although there was a significant improvement in pain scores in the outpatient group, multicenter studies with larger patient groups may provide more evidence.
